I love the recipes and notes which come with the various boxes and very happy with the complimentary recipe book I received the other day which has been very useful! I would highly recommend Riverford!

Dec 16,2024I was recommended Riverford by a friend, and I'm so grateful. I've had a few deliveries now and the veg is delicious, every bit as good as home grown. I do also grow my own veg and I'd always thought that a box scheme would double-up on veg I grew myself. However, Riverford's flexible shopping system means that I can pick and choose to put my own box together if their 'set' boxes duplicate my own veg. I can get the things from Riverford that I haven't got room to grow myself, the staples like onions. I get a wider range of veg from Riverford to supplement my home-grown. They are also better at having veg in winter than me! Their customer service and communication has been exemplary. They provide help with menu planning and recipes, preparation and storage guidelines, and they are there to check that everything is going OK for me. They reuse their packaging, most of which is compostable (great for my home compost bin, the worms love it!) They also tell me about their growing practices, the team, and the challenges and rewards of organic farming which I find so interesting, and learn from as a grower myself. Basically, I love Riverford Organics!

Dec 16,2024I signed up at the Good Food Show, I will admit I was a little sceptical and thought perhaps this was just another dodgy veg box delivery company, who would over promise and under deliver, Wow, how wrong I was. The quality of the produce is amazing and lasts so much longer than any shop bought produce, the flavour of the organic produce is how veg show taste . I also love feeling I am doing my bit to help UK farmers. Riverford is a complete experience, the app is easy to use if I want to add or change anything to my order, the communication is professional and still feels personal, I love the recipe ideas and the advice for storage of my delivery. I truly cannot praise Riverford highly enough.

Dec 15,2024If I had the time to visit markets and buy direct from the farmer, I would do, but I work full time. Riverford does all the hard work for me, collecting fresh, local, organic produce from the farmers and delivering it to my door. The food is top quality and you absolutely can taste the difference. Not only that, but I have lost weight! I’m making delicious easy stews in my slow cooker and creating simple soups, thanks to the recipe ideas in each box, knowing exactly what is in the meal because I put it there and lo and behold those stubborn pounds are falling off. The website is very easy to use and I can change my order as many times as I like before the shopping deadline each week. The deliveries are always on the same day, by the same driver. When I first signed up, I had a call from their office to chat with me about how everything works, making me feel like a valued customer from the start. I want to support organic farmers, not just for the health benefits to myself, but for the future of our country and our planet. Riverford covers all that with their ethical, online farmers market. Literally the best food shopping experience I have ever had. Thank you!

I was quite sceptical when I first signed up, but the difference in the taste of the Riverford produce compared to the stuff I used to buy in a supermarket is remarkable. Riverford packaging is completely recyclable and the driver delivers straight to my front door every week! What's not to love?! Thank you Riverford :)

Dec 14,2024Fabulous fresh produce, noticeably fresher and longer-lasting than quality supermarket equivalents (eg spinach). While you can’t change the contents of a box (not another Savoy cabbage!) you can easily switch boxes before the 2 day order deadline and add on extras each time. Deliveries faultless so far and chilled stuff comes well packaged in materials you can return or recycle. Some extras are pricier than supermarket so you have to decide if it’s worth it for the greater quality.
