Dec 13,2024I've been a regular customer for a while now (195 deliveries and counting), and my Riverford delivery day is the best day of the week. And it's Monday, so that's saying something. Quite how there are any reviews below 5 stars I will never know. The quality and range of produce is unparalleled. You won't get better food anywhere else.

Dec 12,2024I deliberately left this review until I had received a number of deliveries from Riverford, just in case I happened to be lucky/unlucky. But having received my third order I am very impressed with both the quality and the consistency. I mainly receive veg, but also plenty of fruit, some dairy and a few bits of meat. All have been top notch - no complaints at all. The deliveries are punctual and friendly. And the recycling process Riverford has in place, where the delivery driver takes away your old packaging, is very slick. Not much more to say. I think I'll be a customer for some time...

Dec 12,2024Wonderful experience from start to finish. The fruit and veg are nothing like standard supermarket produce - they taste fresh and remind me of the food you buy in markets in France. Packaging is paper-based and very efficient. Service can't be faulted. Yes it's expensive but there are good reasons for that.

Dec 12,2024Having had Riverford deliveries for a month I am really impressed with how fresh the vegetables are compared with the supermarket. It is great that there is no plastic with my delivery as everything is environmentally friendly. The Cardboard box and cover used for when it’s raining are both reused. I like the ‘pause’ facility that can be used if going away. The website is clear to understand and easy to order additional items as well as cancelling items. It is good to know that the vegetables I am ordering are supporting British farmers.

Dec 11,2024On my fist delivery the chap delivering was very helpful, asking where to deliver if I was not home. The fruit and veg always good quality and ve7g new to me it is helpful to have recipes I can try. So we can try new veg to us. So far am delighted with service.

Dec 11,2024I am a new customer and so far received three deliveries. I have found ordering really easy. The produce is not only of great quality, but the taste is superior to supermarket produce and it stores for a lot longer too. I like the fact that you can manage your account on-line, leave notes if you need to add to your standard order, or postpone a delivery. The recipe notes are a great help, especially if there is a produce your are not used to, in my case Salsify, and it was delicious. I love the sustainability ethos of the company too. Last but not least the Customer Service is excellent too, so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Riverford.

Dec 10,2024Riverford is brilliant: the food tastes really good, the vegetables and fruits are not packed in plastic (unlike the organic food in the supermarket) and the team are super nice. I had a small issue with the delivery that the team helped me sort out promptly and without hassle. I highly recommend. I would welcome if the milk and dairy products could also be provided in plastic-free containers.

Dec 10,20241. The quality of fruit/veg produce is excellent. 2. Love their organic small batched products, such as yogurt and bakery bread. they taste special, artisan, yet homemade feeling. 3. The package is very eco friendly. Everything is either recyclable or compostable. 4. Delivery is wonderful, driver always deliver with a smile, and also take back the boxes and bottles to re-use. 5. I got a cook-book for free, so nice. 6. I like the story of the company, even though this is more expensive than big supermarket, but I'm willing to pay more, for a sustainable future, knowing the farmers are happy and respected, animals been treated well, and my food is high quality.
