Merchandise that is damaged or altered in any way by a Jeweler other than Ross-Simons cannot be returned. A merchandise credit will be issued if merchandise received as a gift is returned by the recipient. Items that have been personalized cannot be returned.

I ended up returning both of these items the sapphire bracelet with alleged ‘diamonds’ could not be seen. The antique diamond was way too large. This is the first time in decades of being a customer that I have been displeased with my purchase.

I ordered 2 items, a necklace from the catalog and an enamel ring from the website. The necklace is lovely, and I look forward to wearing it often. The ring, although attractive, was much thinner than I expected (perhaps I didn't read the description closely enough). I planned to wear it with other stackable rings I've bought from RS; I will do so, but it won't be as eye-catching as another enamel ring I purchased.
What I love of my ring is that it looks exactly at the ring shown in the picture. Excelent quality and design. Thank you

I ordered pearl earrings to go with a necklace that had the same type of “flower” design that captured the pearl. The earrings I received were nothing like that. I contacted customer service via email with photos. Their reps were completely incompetent, not understanding the issue. I am still working to resolve the issue as I don’t want to return them (they are out of stock now) but want some kind of compensation for not receiving what I ordered. So buyer beware that Ross-Simon may substitute an item at their will-like it or not. Also please note that I have been a customer for over 20 years-& have never had a problem. update: Ross-Simons has since told me that I can only receive a merchandise credit when their return policy clearly states money back no questions asked within 30 days. All I'm asking for is a partial compensation for not receiving what I ordered. I will be opening a case with the BBB. I do not recommend buying jewelry from this online company when there are so many other options. Response to RS response: Wow~again customer service is completely incompetent. And again, if anyone at RS would actually read what their customers write about the issue that would be so helpful for everyone. This had nothing to do with size or color. It as to do with a design change as I stated. I stand by my review that jewelry shoppers should stay clear of this company.
Earings are beautiful but, the backs are to small to attach to the ears. Keep trying but can't get them to attach. Sad
Reliability and communication. I had to return the beautiful necklace as it was too heavy around my neck. It was a glass heart and the size was bigger in person. So I needed to return. The customer service agent was very helpful and courteous. I really appreciate talking to a REAL person when there is a return or difficulty.

I purchased this engraved inital locket as a gift. It is beautiful and well recieved, however we where unable to open it yet, did not want to force it open. the video and description do not address how to open locket, only shows how to place photos inside.
