The conveyancing proceeded efficiently and entirely with a mix of online checks and email correspondence, which suited me extremely well because it removes most of the anxiety and potential worry of waiting for post to arrive, etc. The supporting staff dealt with me courteously and promptly making direct telephone calls where required. As the transaction completed on time of course, I can definitely say that Zoe and her team made the whole process rather delightful and was one part of the task that I had no need to worry about. Sep 17,2022As bad today as they where four years ago. After upholding my complaint at the time it appears they have still not improved. They were instructed by my mortgage lender. After making contact with them I requested a call back on Monday when they eventually picked the phone up when ringing (they usually don’t making dealing with your case impossible). I was promised a call back that never came. Rang throughout the day on Tuesday (no one picked up, same again on Wednesday. This is just a flavour of what your up against if you use them. Conveyancing takes months and months, and you constantly have to chace them for updates/to get things moving. They are honestly the worst conveyancing solicitors I have ever used. The lender has instructed a new solicitor thankfully who are reputable and trustworthy. Russel & Russel should not be practicing as they don’t act in your best interests. They just don’t care and only want your money. If I could give these guys zero stars I would. One star is being overly generous. Appalling service. Don’t believe the reviews on trust pilot check out the Google reviews as well. Google reviews are terrible and trustpilot is allegedly very good clearly someone has been faking the good reviews. AVOID

Feb 20,2023Fourth time we've used Russell & Russell. Our house purchase was not straightforward with the sellers solicitor losing the deeds and being shocking at communicating the information; Russell & Russell continually gave us updates, guidance and did a lot of the leg work for us. They were always available take calls if we had queries and updated us via email to simply keep us in the loop. We dealt with 3 different law firms during our sale and purchase and there was a clear difference in quality between Russell & Russell and the other two, in favour of Russell & Russell. I hope to not move house again but if I did, I would be using them again.
