Aug 30,2024Just used Sage for a Level 2 House Survey. Gary was very helpful and easy to talk to. The survey was undertaken within a few days of booking and the comprehensive report came through in under 24 hours. Like others, appreciated the call prior to the survey to discuss any specific points or concerns we had and feel confident that if we do have any further queries going forward that Gary would be more than happy to help. Very happy and would recommend.

Aug 30,2024I highly recommend Sage Chartered Surveyors. Quick turnaround on a RISC Level-3 Survey. The report was detailed with very helpful photos of areas which may have missed during viewing of the property.

Aug 26,2024Sage carried out our survey on a 300 year old timber framed house. I spoke to numerous surveying firms as I wanted to ensure they had the necessary expertise required to inspect this type of property. I eventually chose Sage as they were able to provide sample reports on recently surveyed previous timber framed properties. I had a long chat with the surveyor, Gary, prior to the survey, who explained the process and limitations. Their price was very reasonable compared with other companies who weren't able to offer anything over and above what Sage provided for a significant premium. The 84 page report was delivered the same day with everything clearly explained. I was very impressed with the surveyors' knowledge, ease and willingness to answer the many questions I had, and I now feel confident I am making a sound investment and aware of any future maintenance burdens. The service I received was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Aug 12,2024The quality and depth of the L3 full building survey report I received from Sage Chartered Surveyors was outstanding. Great attention had been paid to every single aspect of the property, both internal and external, including the grounds and I found the multitude of photos, all of which contained a link to enable me to view a larger version and zoom in to see detail extremely helpful. Importantly, valuable opinions were offered on the condition of the property throughout the report and I was impressed by the notable lack of 'it is beyond our remit to comment' which has been a feature of other surveys from other companies I have used in recent years. Having read this extremely comprehensive report, I am confident I know a great deal about the true condition of the property I am about to buy and have been given an honest and thorough appraisal which gives me the confidence to proceed. All communication from Sage has been excellent. Emails have been answered immediately and my quote came through within a few minutes of having made an email enquiry. It was extremely competitive. I asked for an example for a L3 survey from each of the companies I got quotes from and Sage Surveyors was to my mind the most detailed and direct which encouraged me to select the company. I am so glad that I did. They were able to carry out my survey within a week and received the report the same day the survey was carried out, having also received a phone call from Gary as he was leaving the property, during which he gave me a verbal summary. I cannot recommend this company highly enough and of the three surveyors I have used in recent years, Sage are in a different league.

Aug 05,2024Fantastic and professional service. Sage is recommended to us from our Real estate agency and glad that they recommended them to us. They handle the appointment to visit the house quite efficiently. They were also really fast and we were able to set up a survey within a week. Gary called us before the survey and explained the procedure and asked if we have any specific concerns about the house. The report is received the same day. Gary also called us and explain us everything in a really nice language. We used a level 3 report and it was completely worthed. I would recommend them to anyone who is planning to buy a house and especially first time buyers like us who are not familiar with surveys. Gary was really polite and helpful. Perfect service.

Aug 01,2024Sage were recommended to us by friends who recently used their services for a survey. We chose a level 2 report as the property we were hoping to buy was a comparatively recent build. Gary who carried out the survey rang us beforehand to see if we had concerns we wished him to pay particular attention to before carrying out an exhaustive review of the property with loads of pictures. Honestly we couldn't have wished for a better report and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sage (who is Gary) to anyone buying a property and require at whatever level a thorough report.

Sep 06,2024Cost of survey was competitive and it was arranged quickly I was able to pay by credit card which was helpful. Had regular emails from Gary and he responded quickly to emails and queries both before and afterwards Report was provided later the same day which was amazing and was very detailed. Would recommend!
