Prompt arrangement, support and delivery
It's not smooth transaction with them, in their email they sent its says, you can arrange EVERYTHING online but it seems arranging for delivery is not included since you still need to call them for a delivery date. They doesn't give a clear instructions either. They pulled out items from one of my boxes and when I called they told me it will be delivered on the address provided but apparently it wasn't and one of the customer service agent told me that they sent an email but I haven't received one saying that I still need to call them and arrange for delivery, the email I just received is the invoice. Not even on spam or junk. And I still need to pay for storage fee eventhough the fault is not on my part.
Good communication and competitive pricing
Responsive, helpful, friendly, reasonably priced. Had a few issues but they got them sorted. Online portal is a little bit clunky.
I used my own boxes to pack my belongings. The driver delivered the Medium MoveCube and a trolley. We load the boxes into Medium MoveCube in 1.5 hours, with the assistance of a very patient driver. Great communication with the team, very quick and efficient response.
Customer service was excellent and easy to deal with. If I had a question they answered promptly and with all the information needed. I had to change emails and they updated everything right away. The delivery driver was very helpful and courteous. I would use Seven Seas again.

This is not my first international move, so I have a baseline against which to compare. This time, I used Seven Seas International's MoveCube service to ship my household goods from South Africa to London, UK. I found the whole process pretty seamless with the only odious part being filling out and selecting insurance options using their website, which required line-by-line entry on a web form (would have been a lot easier and quicker to upload an XLS or CSV). From start to finish, everyone I dealt with at Seven Seas, via both email and phone, was professional, polite, helpful and provided all the information I needed. My goods arrived in the UK two months after leaving South Africa, entirely intact and everything fully present.

Easy to order, and communicate Reliable Room for improvement for delivery time
Terrible. First, on pick-up day they gave me a timeframe (11am - 2pm) that the driver supposed to come to my house to pick up my packages. They didn’t come within the timeframe and no calls from the drivers that they would come late. I had to call the customer service several time in order to receive a call from that driver that they will arrive in 20 minutes. Thus, they didn’t show up until 2.5 hours late (around 4:30pm). Second, the communication with customer service by email is terrible. They take forever to reply and often not helpful. Because some instructions are not clear, it’s difficult to get help to solve the problem immediately. Third, the custom form to file the documents is not user friendly. I am a citizen of the country I am shipping my articles, but it kept asking for my visa resulting I am not able to resubmit my form. Worse of all, the customer service was not being helpful when I told them the error is on their part. At this moment, I still haven’t received a reply from them. This may resulted in delay fee that could penalize me. Ridiculous. Edited regarding to their reply: Stop lying and making excuses. First, I emailed them with my reference number on the email title. I also email them the day before for confirmation which they did not reply. Second, I also called them after 2pm and gave them my reference number. They said the driver will call me, but they didn’t so I had to call them again at around 2:30pm. They didn’t give me a reason why they were late until the pick up drivers arrived at around 4:30pm. Second, all the email interactions were with reference numbers as long as attachments of previous emails, so the audacity to make excuses that I didn’t send any reference number is unacceptable. Updated to their second reply: Of course, I am currently communicating and trying to settling the situation via email to the respective department. This is a review section where everyone can see, so what makes you think I will disclose my reference number here or my name? The professional response should be asking me to email you to a specific email address in regard with the situation for further investigation. The ironic part is that it takes within 18-20hrs for someone to reply me regarding my concern, but when I leave a comment here I get replies as soon as within 20 minutes. You sure got your priorities straight! Oct 1 rely: No need. And why when it has already happened. Besides, I am providing my reference number because I was constantly informed by email that my review will be deleted in two days. No way I am going to let this happened when what I wrote did happen!
