Dec 30,2016We had to return the mattress within the company's 100 day guarantee, due that I was unable to gain a good nights sleep, due to the fact that I found the mattress just too warm. Otherwise, both my wife and I agree that the mattress is the most comfortable we have ever slept on! We purchased another mattress at more than double the purchase price of the sleeping duck and is not comparable if judged by comfort alone. However, the replacement is constructed with all natural fibres, such as horse hair which is much cooler. Highly recommended if you seek a warm/hot mattress.

Dec 07,2016So pleased with the service from Sleeping Duck!. Both my partner and myself have lower back probkems. His a builder so a good nights sleep at the end of physically grueling day is a must. We found the firmer version of the mattress still a bit soft. Sleeping duck helped us solve the problem by replacing the memory foam layer with a firmer foam.. Worked like a spell!. And all for no extra cost!.. Nothing was too much trouble. Now we are benefiting from a really comfortable supported nights sleep. They really make a fabulous bed!.. Get one!!!

Nov 29,2016This is a super comfortable fabulous quality product with super efficient friendly service & after care! Having custom firmness on each side is a fantastic USP and works really well for 'The Good Lady' & me. Really wanted to give 5 stars but we are still finding an issue with overheating on the mattress, even after taking your extremely prompt, helpful & very detailed advice which did reduce the issue! This is not a deal breaker and we will definitely be keeping our Sleeping Duck as the benefits of a comfortable supportive nights sleep far far outweigh this small issue and I'm sure we will acclimatize! Nov 25,2016I decided to buy a mattress online due to price and convenience, and to avoid pushy sales staff with targets on the high street. I narrowed down the options using a website called Sleepopolis and landed with Sleeping Duck. The price was fair, in line with competitors (cheaper than high street and branded tech like Tempur) and offered a 100 day trial. Delivery was quick and time of delivery kept to. Set up straightforward. Sleeping Duck called a couple of times to make sure everything was ok. Like most modern mattresses, it is hefty but I find it very comfortable (medium firmness, good for me as a side sleeper, who occasionally sleeps on front, with good response and a bit of bounce). A nice feature is that the foam top can be swapped for firmer or even half and half. About a month after SD called to make sure everything was still ok. It was and I'm still enjoying the much improved sleep I'm getting.

Nov 24,2016The service we recieved was excellent with the mattress delivered on the day as agreed, but WOW did we have a shock when we tried to pick it up. This beauty is so well made it weighs a tonne"Not really, but boy is it heavy). My Wife a sprightly 70 year old and myself an equally sprightly 75 year old would have been unable on our own to carry it up stairs, so thankfully for a few quid the delivery driver helped me carry it upstairs. On unwrapping it we still had quite a struggle getting it up onto the bed but once we did we realsied what a very well made mattress this is, although we were rather concerned how hard it felt to lay on and even now months later we sometimes wake up with a few aches and pains. A slightly softer top would be appreciated. We took a considerable time to decide which Mattress to purchase having considered most of the opposition but we belive we have chosen the mattress which suits us best both for Quality and Price. Well done Sleeping Duck.

Nov 23,2016This mattress is amazing, when it came rolled up I was a little worried but when you unroll it, it expands in no time at all. Before we got this mattress my wife was suffering with back ache that we thought was down to our old worn out one, we have had the sleeping duck for about a month now and she has no more back ache. When people visit and they lay on it they comment that its hard but once you have slept on it for an evening it's incredible. Customer service is really good too , they called the other day to see how it's going. Don't buy any other buy sleeping duck!!

Nov 23,2016I have ME and prone to joint pains and need a good night's sleep to be able to function well enough during the day. The firm mattress didn't relive the pressure points on my shoulder and hips but the medium mattress does that well enough and keeps good support for my back. The 100 day trial is an excellent length of time to find out if the mattress is suitable and the company didn't hesitate to refund me on the firm mattress. I have kept the medium mattress which has given me better nights sleep since I got it compared to my previous mattress which had a sprung base with memory foam top.

Nov 16,2016Originally got this bed for the 100 day trial as quite picky and like super hard beds. This one is really great! Initially held on to old mattress just in case, but got rid of it after a week because was super comfy! Do note that the mattress is heavy, we had to call in Task Rabbit to help lift to the second floor - but that was a cheap 10 min job, so all good and warm recommendation remains firm! (as does the mattress so far)

Nov 15,2016We find it an excellent mattress - and it is especially good for the money. I sleep better than I have at home in years. Our only warning to others is that because the mattress is so thick, you will need new bedding for it - firstly because of the height means that your sheets are likely not to fit, and secondly because it does get warm. You won't need as high tog duvet and probably only a sheet in summer. In winter it's obviously excellent as it's very toasty!

Nov 11,2016I spent quite a lot of time looking at reviews for mattresses online and also in the well know shops, but I kept coming back to this one. I went for the medium firm, which was perfect for me, lots of support and very comfortable. After 3 months, I can honestly say I am truly happy with the mattress, no longer do I wake up in the morning with a bad back and neck. The price was also very good, much cheaper than high street equivalent and with the 100 night return guarantee you really can make the right decision.

Nov 11,2016This was the third mattress we tried over a ten month period. The first was a well known memory foam brand, that was super comfortable, but like a furnace. So we sent it back. The second was a conventional sprung mattress, but it was somehow smaller and nowhere near as comfortable as the last. So it's in the spare room. After a lot of research of hybrid mattresses, I found Sleeping Duck. I pored through the reviews both here and in Australia and I was persuaded to take the plunge. The main attractions were: the cotton top layer which would help with temperature control, the 100% natural latex beneath that which was also good for temperature and the springs underneath the memory foam. The other attraction was the removable top layer and the option to split the firmness down the middle. I was desperate for this one to work and even in the dead of summer, it was cooler and incredibly comfortable. It moulds to your body over time too and this adds to the comfort. We haven't regretted the purchase for one moment and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The service and follow up was great. The only negative was trying to lug it upstairs. Now that was a superhuman feat! And one more thing - the price. It cost a third of the first two mattresses and had a 100 day money back guarantee. You can't get better than that. The compressed packaging also solved my problem getting a superking mattress to fit up the stairs. Great product, would happily recommend to anyone.

Nov 10,2016We made a mistake and originally ordered the firm option. We contacted sleeping duck and it was no problem at all. The medium layer was sent out and within 2 nights we were sleeping like babies. Fantastic mattress - Fantastic customer service!!!!!!

Oct 31,2016First I understand most reviews here are full of praise for Sleeping duck mattresses. But this is my own personal experience which I am sure is a rouge event. The mattress took 10 days to arrive UPS mistake and then I was required to carry the 28kg myself from van too heavy for driver. The mattress on opening had a strong odour and was damp and an uneven surface with ripples and dips. I sent photos Customer service suggested leaving the mattress to air for several days. We gave it four days in a room with the heating on. This seem to dry out the mattress. The customer service suggested unusually hot and humid weather may have caused the dampness. Perhaps this should have been spotted on packing It solved the dampness but not the lumps and bumps on the mattress surface. Customer services suggested opening the mattress to rearrange things upon doing this. I discovered the layers were not as shown in the videos in separate covers, but loose in the mattress. Customer service dispatched these covers and a new top cover. And a £50 refund. Be aware unzipping the top and refitting is a hard job. This fitted, the bed felt better, but it still felt extra hard and uneven. I believe the latex and memory foam is faulty and glued in a mismatched way. And that the word firm used here is harder than the firm mattresses I have had before. We bought a thin topper from amazon still too hard and rather hot . So as we ordered from Uk and live in Holland we went to Ikea buying a better one. As we needed a good nights sleep fast after three weeks of poor sleep We did not want to wait days for any dispatch from the uk . Sleep restored now our expensive American bed linen fitted sheets did not fit and rolled up every night. So, we have decided to give up, and use this as our guest bedroom mattress with topper and buy another. I have always liked the Waldorfs/ Hiltons mattress when I stayed. And they sell them so maybe that one. So hats off to Nicole customer service for her efforts. But in this case the bed failed to live up to its reputation. As a amendment spewing duck did all they could for weeks and eventually we resolved everything

You go to a shop and are bombarded with mattresses of every type, style and leave confused after only being able to test them for a few stolen minutes. Therefore, my husband and I looked for mattress reviews online until we found the perfect one, immediately ordered and have not looked back. Fantastic quality, simple delivery, easy instructions and best, and most importantly of all, you get to test it for 100 days. We were not disappointed at all.
