Feb 24,2016I purchased a double mattress from Winston at Sleeping Duck and the idea that this is a modular type of mattress where you can change from a firm to a softer one just by making a phone call appealed to me as I have a severe spine injury so getting a bed that is right for me is nigh on impossible but because Sleeping Duck give a 100 day trial and during that time will send a softer module if you have bought a firm one and it's not right for you sold it for me. However because of my condition the mattress which by the way is made to the highest standards just was not right for me so needed to be returned for a refund. After contacting Winston who immediately arranged for it to be collected and confirmed a day and time for the collection which was done as per arrangement and as soon as Sleeping duck had it returned immediately refunded me in full. To sum it up I cannot recommend this company and their product enough, Winston went out of his way to try and get it right for me but as said before my condition makes it very hard to find the right mattress, I only wish I had this same level of service from all stores whether on line or in store. Feb 22,2016I purchased a sleeping duck bed at the start of Summer last year. Delivery took about a week which was fine, and the mattress looked and felt impressive when it arrived, although had to be left to air in the garage for several days before use as it had a very strong chemical glue type smell about it. Service was very good. And they actually called me to check all was ok after delivery which I thought was decent of them and a nice touch. I suffer with lower back and shoulder pain, and initially the new mattress seemed to really help this. Exactly what I was looking for. I did find it quite a bit warmer to use than my old bed but didn’t mind this as I was definitely getting the benefit as my back and shoulder felt better than they had for some time after a nights sleep on my new mattress. Unfortunately, I can no longer use this mattress as for some reason it now feels very uncomfortable and seems warmer than ever (even though it is now Winter?) and it actually exasperates my shoulder and back problems which are now worse than ever before. I have looked at the mattress in detail to see what’s changed but it looks just like it did when I first got it – although it is definitely quite a bit softer in the area that I lie, but there is only a slight visible impression and not a huge amount of sagging as I would visually expect based on the way it now feels to sleep in. I’ve persevered with it in the hope that things would improve but it’s got to the point that I’m now back sleeping on my old IKEA mattress in the spare room which quite incredibly has now improved my shoulder and back pain. I have no idea what has happened to the mattress and as I say, it doesn’t really show serious signs of sagging or look much different to when it was first received – just feels quite a bit softer. For some reason I simply find it just isn’t comfortable anymore and for me in particular it’s now unusable. Dissapointing.

Feb 22,2016We got this matress after sending a Leesa matress back as we didn't get on with it , we went for the firm sleeping duck which is so comfortable, we really love it . It is very heavy so make sure you have some help setting it up and it is a very deep matress so you will have to buy some extra deep bed sheets . my only complaint is it is so much harder to get up in the morning now!

Feb 22,2016I cannot recommend this mattress and company enough. This is by far the best mattress I have ever tried or ever had. It is well researched and a well built mattress with such great quality and extreme comfort that you will not be disappointed. On top of this is the great price which is hundreds of pounds less compared with some of the more luxurious mattresses on the market selling above the £1000 mark. The company and customer service are impeccable. They are efficient and attentive and place the customer first in all instances. To top it all off you get an amazing deal with their 100 nights trial and money back guarantee. I was personally won over by the previous 5 star comments and reviews by other customers on this website for Sleeping Duck's product and service. This is the first ever review of any kind I have ever made after a purchase but I just felt I had to. I have also recommended this to many family and friends. Brilliant!!!

Feb 21,2016I had never heard of this company, and it unnerved me that they only did one mattress (although when I thought about it more, I realised that's what I liked about them). I read the reviews on here and could not seem to find a bad one, not a great sign because no item is *that* good. I took a chance, a £599 chance. Due to demand over the festive period I wasn't going to receive my mattress until about a month later - I definitely thought this was a scam but something kept telling me to see where it goes because if it pays off then it could be amazing! After a couple of weeks the day finally arrived but there was an issue with loading it on to the truck so it would be the next day. My mistrust went in to overdrive and I told myself I would plead with Paypal for a refund if it did not turn up the next day. Luckily it arrived in time! I had watched the educational video on how to open it before receiving it so I knew roughly what I had to do, unfortunately that all went out the window when it arrived as the plastic had been ripped and it was already beginning to expand...rapidly. We dragged it on to my base as fast as possible before it engulfed my bedroom. They say there is a 'smell' for a couple of days that will dissipate but it stuck around a while longer for me. It's not a reason to grumble but I want to be honest. Also, they say this mattress is cooler to sleep on because of the bamboo but it is nothing like a spring mattress so prepare for that. I'd never had memory foam before and I have used my summer quilt all winter because of how warm it is. This is not necessarily a bad thing, if you struggle to get warm then you will love this bed, once you adjust your quilt accordingly then it is lovely. This bed is ridiculously comfortable. Being disabled and having to spend a large amount of time in bed has been made so much more painless from this bed. I sleep better, I feel better and nothing hurts when I lay down anymore. The only niggle I have is that I currently sleep alone, and use one side of the bed more than the other, this means the foam inside tends to slide my way after a couple of weeks from getting in and out so I have to unzip it all and reposition them. Other than that, I cannot fault this mattress. The company has been amazing with communication, even with a follow up call to see how I'm getting on. I took to this mattress straight away, now I'm not sure I can sleep on anything else. YOU'VE RUINED ME SLEEPING DUCK! :)

We had a few issues regarding delivery damage - Sorted The firmness needed slight adjustment - Sorted Support of product and relaxed informative advice. And the big back drop is if the mattress doesn't work for you they will happily refund! Having spent a few trips in and out of Bed places this was definitely the way to go for us, and it's worked. Feb 20,2016I have had issues with lower back pain for years and still do a lot of weight training being a personal trainer. I had been looking online and asking around and I was recommended the Titan by sleeping duck. Delivery was fantastic and I thought that actually the matress was great value for money considering the quality of its design. Most impressed by the customer service! I received a call shortly after we received the mattress to make sure delivery was okay. We then received another call a few weeks later to make sure we were happy with the product. I thought this was great customer service! To sum up, the product was fantastic, great delivery and amazing customer service.

Feb 19,2016Comfy mattress, great value, attentive service. One downside: I recommend unwrapping and letting it air out for a few weeks in the spare room before you use it. I was highly (seriously) allergic to the smell. I suspect the smell is some kind of anti-flame treatment required on all new mattresses so not necessarily the fault of sleeping duck. But it would have been good to know about it before. After the first few days my back pain went completely. I've been sleeping on it for several months now and its still great. Had to buy a new lighter duvet because I kept overheating - my old mattress didn't have foam of any kind so didn't have that problem (however it was really uncomfortable so...). Aside from that it's been smooth sailing and I'm very happy with my Titan.

Feb 19,2016Initial delivery was a little slow and I had a few issues with the courier. However sleeping duck stepped in and resolved the issue so within a day I had the bed. After a month or so I was finding the matress too firm for sleeping on my side. I emailed sleeping duck and they sent out the soft top replacement within 2 days, free. Now its a perfect sleep. Honestly save yourself some time and just order the bed it's unbelievable how they fit this amazing bed into a vacuum packed box. I tried alot of beds when buying and none came close in comfort for the same price range. It's too easy.

Feb 19,2016The mattress arrives in a box and I thought what have I bought but I followed the instructions and watched it grow. From day one we have never slept better. I have told all my friends and family about the mattress and would highly recommend it to anyone. The after care from the team is second to none. Checking its arrived then following up to see everything is okay. If there is one thing that could improve it, it would be handles on the side to help with turning, this is a minor thing and in no way impacts on the comfort of the bed.

Feb 19,2016I'm a fussy mattress person. I have trouble sleeping if the mattress is too hard or soft (especially the latter). This sleeping duck mattress took a night or two to get used to as is very different, but the effects of the combination of layers inside is amazing. It has bounce from the springs, but is spongy like foam, not too spongy either, the rate of compression decelerates fast as pressure is applied. It also deals with heat very well - never gets too hot or cold. It's rather thick (about 50% thinker than our old one) and heavy as hell, but we're very happy. Also my partner has latex allergies and we were worried about her having a reaction, but she has been fine with it and no problems reported after months of use.

Jan 21,2016Got a queen size medium and not too sure what to make of this mattress.. i suffer from chronic lower back pain and after setting up was looking forward to painless wake ups, not the case. In all fairness customer service said give it a few weeks to let body adapt before changing firmness but my initial first impression aint great. My partner hates it, she thinks its far too hard lol Will keep an update on this review but unfortunately the first 2 weeks have not impressed :/

Jan 07,2016Thank you to Winston and The people at Sleeping Duck for your great service and help with our purchase of the Titan mattress. I got thoroughly confused and cross with the stupid amount of choices from all the traditional bed retailers, both online and on the high st. The 100 day trial and the good reviews were what swayed me, delivery was fine and we are now nearly up to our 100day trial period and at this time have no intention of sending it back. The mattress is quite firm but very comfortable, we look forward to it becoming even more comfortable as we get more used to it. It still has a very slight "latexy" smell to it but we now hardly notice it. Thank you once again, my advice is, if you need a new mattress, give them a try, its good to support a small company rather than one of the faceless big ones.

Jan 06,2016Arrived after some confusion by the delivery firm, Furdico, who cancelled at the last moment after confirming delivery only for the mattress to arrive anyway!!! Luckily I had not gone out as I was planning to! I can not speak highly enough of the mattress itself. Very comfortable and we especially like the 'soft' very top layer which is replaceable if you don't like it. The mattress is very very heavy and we found it a struggle to move after it had unrolled but it was worth the effort. We were impressed by the follow up calls from Sleeping Duck to check on our thoughts about the mattress. Recommended.

I wanted a very well-designed mattress, but also something environmentally friendly. My old mattress was giving me a sore back which is why I decided to invest in a new mattress. I opted for the firmer option. My back has made a huge improvement since I started sleeping on it and I feel like a new person every time I wake up in the morning now. Thank-you Sleeping Duck!
