Sep 11,2016I must admit that I haven't tried many bed mattresses, but after the recommendation and reading reviews, I decided to try a firm king-size sleeping duck. No regrets! In fact, I have mentioned to friends how I love how comfortable the mattress is; the way it somehow both supports and eats you. :)

Sep 09,2016I ordered a UK super king with medium firmness and have beening using it for the past 2 months - so far so good I have to say :) The price is reasonable (I bought it with a discount code so it was a even better deal). The order process is easy and stragiht forward. Delivery was prompt. I personally find the mattress very comfortable for back and side sleeping. Customer service has been great - I received a few follow-up calls from them regarding how I got on with the mattress. Obviosuly I can't tell how durable it is but it's certainly nice to know I get a 10 year warranty. I may change my view in the future as I have only had it for 2 months but certainly I will recommend it based on my current experience with Sleeping Duck :)

Sep 08,2016Needed a new firmer mattress after some recent back surgery - seen over the internet. Great value and able to have different levels of firmness for me and the missus. Excellent service and delivery. Helpful telephone advice when we were stupid. Excellent follow up service. Most importantly, very comfortable mattress and I sleep well, without pain and wake up refreshed - highly recommended!

Sep 08,2016Sleeping Duck is a great mattress and the service around it is great as well. It's really easy to chose what you want: you only need to decide what size and firmness you want. I opted in for a super king firm mattress and I am really happy with it. Great back support, doesn't make you hot, and despite being firm it's really comfortable. Delivery was swift and unpacking was easy. The only thing worth noting is that it's taller than regular mattresses, so you might want to take this into account when selecting a bed frame and buying fitted bedsheets.

Aug 23,2016I bought my Sleeping Duck mattress in November last year and I have purposely left it this long to do a review (for the record I have had it for 9 months now) as I now have a real experience of what is like to live with. Ordering was a breeze and Winston at Sleeping Duck patiently answered all my (many) questions and got it shipped out to me next day. I unpacked it and decided to leave it for a couple of days before using to allow it to expand completely (my choice - I think you can use them sooner). There was a slight chemical smell, but this dissipated after a week or so and was never actually intrusive. For the record, I am quite a large man and have in the past damaged one knee and both shoulders - this means that I have a constant level of discomfort, which also gets worse at night. Because of these factors I do struggle to sleep. Initially I was not comfortable as I had ordered the medium and should have got the hard. I spoke to Winston about this and he recommended rearranging some of the layers to try to stiffen it up a little. I did as he suggested but it was still too soft. Winston then offered to send out a firm layer to me which he did at no cost to me. I fitted this into the mattress and the effect was immediate. I was comfortable in bed for the first time in years. Fast forward 9 months and I still love my Sleeping Duck, I still do have the odd bad night, but this is par for the course for somebody with my ailments, in general I have not slept this well in years. I could not be happier with the mattress or the service that I received from Sleeping Duck and I will certainly buy another when the time to change comes along.

Jul 21,2016I could write pages about how pleased i am for purchasing a mattress from Sleeping duck but i'll try to keep it short. First of all the service is exceptional. I was about to move on my new house and i ordered the mattress but because of some unexpected reasons i had to postpone my moving date. I got a full refund within 2 days and i was told that i can re-order the mattress when i'm ready to do so. Secondly it's really hard for me to get a good night sleep. Cross my heart...i slept like a baby the very first night i lay my body on that mattress.I mean...i was blown away!!!! Honestly...this is the best mattress ever sleep on. The packaging is really innovative and it allows you to manuvre the mattress to the desired room no matter how narrow the staircase is. Design...the mattress looks really cool and well made.Its like is made out of carbon fider...lol! Over all. Highly recommended,best value for money and you gonna enjoy every inch of it.

Delivery ok - item is very heavy so recommend a strong person on hand to help take delivery. The mattress itself is so far outstanding. The only trouble I'm having is having to purchase deep sheets!

Jun 21,2016Sleeping duck has a great business model. First class product ,easy to order ,quick delivery and a focused post sale customer service. The mattress replaced one which was uncomfortable after 20years of use. I have recently had minor back pain and my chiropractor suggested a new matress could help. I researched the subject of beds for a week before buying and Sleeping duck had the most positive vibe. I took a couple of days to get used to how comfortable my bed had become I could no longer feel the familiar buttons and springs! My wife took to it from day one! Now I wouldnt change it for anything and really look forward to every nights sleep.

We decided on a firm mattress, and in the two months we have taken delivery, our back problems have disappeared. The mattress moulds to your body shape and is so comfortable. My only reservation was with the independent delivery company used. They lacked professionalism and tainted an otherwise perfect experience.

Jun 20,2016Buying a mattress online isn't the norm yet so read around quite a bit before deciding on whether to go with Sleeping Duck. Some of the blog reviews looked sponsored / biased so was initially suspicious . But the overwhelming positive reviews on sites like this and the 100 day return policy made me confident to try Sleeping Duck. Customer service: Everything about buying the mattress was a breeze. The delivery was on time and delivery person helped me carry the mattress upstairs (not sure this is company policy but was very appreciated, the mattress comes vacuum packed in a box and is deceptively heavy). Within a few days Sleeping Duck gave me a very polite courtesy call to see if everything was okay, and they've just followed up again a couple of months later. Although I have no complaints I am pretty sure that if I did then Sleep Duck would have tried to resolve it. Mattress: I went with the UK Kingsize mattress with medium firmness. There was a slight chemical smell to the mattress went first unpacked but this went within a few days. My wife and I have found it very comfortable and I look forward to sleeping in it every night. My wife is pregnant and was waking up with a bad back, the mattress seems to have helped in this respect. My only complaint is that I find it warm but not to the point where I would return the mattress. Overall a very good experience and similar to what other reviewers have found.

Jun 15,2016I was happy to order my mattress from Sleeping Duck after reading many good reviews however I was never actually going to try it out due to a catalogue of disasters and broken promises. After ordering my mattress saying I should get delivery of my mattress in a couple of days Tuesday "at the very latest". However when it got to mid afternoon on the Tuesday and no mattress appeared I called the delivery company who said they had "lost it"! I rang Sleeping Duck and had to leave a message on answer phone which was frustrating. Later that evening someone called me to say that she had rung the delivery company and they would try and locate the mattress but if it was still lost early next morning should get a courier to deliver a replacement. I did not receive a call from SD nor did they arrange for a courier to deliver a new mattress and it was left to me to call again to get an update. The attitude of the owner Winston was nonchalant and unperturbed that a customer had been let down by the delivery company and his employee. I had taken time off to be at home to wait for the mattress and had been sleeping on the sofa but even this did not generate any sense of urgency from this company to get it sorted. Winston suggested cancelling my order I guess because he couldn't be bothered to organise a courier, who knows. I am sure their mattresses are great if you are lucky enough to have one successfully delivered!

Jun 15,2016Since receiving our Sleeping Duck mattress there have been no mentions of back ache from either myself or my wife. We bought the version with differing hardness on either side, and you really can tell the difference. I'd recommend a Sleeping Duck mattress to anyone

Jun 14,2016I have to say that I was dubious with buying a mattress on the internet without trying it first but with the try & guarantee of return if I wasn't happy with it what was there to lose? Anyway, I have to say, this is the most comfiest mattress that I have ever had the pleasure to sleep on. I bought the firm one and it was firm! The customer service was second to none, again, I was buying it from a country outside that of the UK (Germany). I was worried about having to take the day off work and wasting time with waiting for the delivery but customer service were so helpful in ensuring that it was delivered as expected & even phoned me (in Germany) to ensure that I was happy. 5 out of 5, what more can you ask for!!

Oct 20,2016Definitely improved my sleep! I never wake up with a backache, which I had done before. The mattress arrived on time and well packaged. Easy to set up and good quality instantly visible. The mattress is very heavy and thick (due to the springs). The springs definitely provide the support needed, resulting in healthy sleep. It's great to have the option to return (or change firmness) within the initial 101 days. Would definitely recommend and buy again!
