Apr 21,2020Sheldon helped me through in getting solar on to our roof by recommending a green loan outfit, although based over east. I think I was able to get one of the better systems out there. No problems so far and hope it stays that way for years. My only regret is that the system will never reach its maximum potential because of the layout and orientation of my roof. Good install and quality products I won't hesitate to recommend.

Apr 21,2020Everything ran smoothly from the initial contact to installation. James the Sales Consultant was very professional and informative. No sales pressure. The installation team arrived on time and did a great job. Bryce went through the workings of the inverter. Its now 3 months since the install and have had no problems.

Apr 20,2020My experience with Solargain has been extremely stressful. I have had multiple SERIOUS issues with them. If you are considering Solargain, Don't! Don't risk having the issues I have, and having to go through the stress and hassle that I have to endure with Solargain. ---------------------------------------- The Issues: Issue 1: Second-hand inverter supplied by Solargain: Being âfobbed offâ with a second-hand inverter while being invoiced full price. The inverter was installed on 31st Oct 2019 but has been registered since July 2019 and it has logged more operating hours than installed confirming it is NOT a new inverter Issue 2: Panels badly placed and in shade - Producing much less than expected solar output. Issue 3: Switchboard fire - Causing a dangerous electrical fire. Issue 4: Internal property damage - Water ingress and damage to the ceiling. Issue 5: Terrible panel Installation and damage to roofing beams. Structurally unsafe and costly to repair. ---------------------------------------- Their QLD representative exasperated the rectification process through their uncooperative behaviour. I found them to be unethical, unprofessional, unable to tell the truth and totally disrespectful. Their behaviour and ethics did not meet the Clean Energy Council (CEC) retailer standards. A formal written complaint has been made with the CEC and to the owners of Solargain to resolve these issues more than 4 weeks ago in the hope that the owners will get someone more ethical and professional to resolve these issues. I am astounded no one from Solargain thus far has had the decency to acknowledge my complaint just to reassure me so that I can restore some faith in them. It just shows the poor level of customer service this company provides. This debacle has already wasted a lot of my time and it has cost myself a whole lot of inconvenience. Even if they do come back and fix the issues, once again it will cost me a lot of time and inconvenience. Just thinking about it is giving a whole lot of stress! CEC COMPLIANCE BREACHES: Go to CEC Website ---------------------------------------- Frankly, this whole debacle could have been avoided if I did not make the MISTAKE by choosing this untrustworthy CEC retailer. Their sub-standard workmanship is a nightmare and a failure to the CEC and Australian standards! Their customer service is appalling. ---------------------------------------- MAKING A COMPLAINT: If you HAVE HAD an install completed by Solargain I would urge you to have it inspected by an independent CEC installer and report any issues to Solargainâs head office and lodge a written complaint to the CEC if head office does not jump to it. ---------------------------------------- NEW PURCHASE: If you are thinking of using Solargain, Don't! Do you want to risk having any issues I have? ----------------------------------------

Apr 17,2020The whole process was top notch, from getting info about their products to after installation service when it appeared the heater wasn't connected to the new switchboard! I contacted 4 other companies and they were pushy, hyper sales, and limited to their own products. The biggest plus was that there is NO prepayment which means if you can't get the govt rebate there is no obligation to buy or loss of money paid upfront! They assisted with helpful info about the rebate process. The installation was handled smoothly and all required paperwork submitted to relevant parties, including a product manual and the Certificate of Electrical Safety. When it appeared the heater hadn't been connected to the newly installed switchboard as part of the package, and the electrician responsible (w)couldn't attend, they are going to send out their own technician. To top it of, their price was by far the best quote I received, comparing apples with apples! No matter whom I spoke to, about any matter, the operator was courteous, reassuring, and pleasant to deal with. For two months I have not had to pay for electricity, so the panels are doing their work. Highly recommend Solargain!!
