May 09,2020I had asked for a quote in Q3 of 2019, I then asked if my quote was still valid after the 2020 increase to tariffs. It was, so that was a good saving. I was initially interested in another company after meeting the two sales consultations, but the other person didn't get back to my requests and then they increased prices. Installation was a few weeks earlier than estimated and ongoing communications with the office staff was excellent, compared to my assigned sales consultant. I asked for the Fronius smart meter to be added to the package a few days before the installation which caused no issues. Although, I wasn't made aware of this option at the initial consultation, but its definitely worth adding one to your package. It makes the usage information much more valuable. Installation was great, the guys were nice and clearly well experienced. Installation was finished with no issues and no after installation issues either. The system has been solid, opted for the 5k Fronius Primo (inc smart meter) and the Jinko panels. I've had no issues with the whole process and would gladly recommend them.

May 07,2020Poor Customer Service The sales person who I had been in contact with over a couple of years was great. The panels installed were scratched at the time of installation. It was only noticed after I inspected them on the roof. I was originally told I could buff them out myself and they wouldn't affect the panels. I eventually got someone to come out and inspect them to which I was told they were required to be replaced. After a couple of weeks after the inspection I hadn't heard anything and contacted solar gain to which they had no report of the inspection. Eventually got someone to come out and replace the scratched panels to which they marked 2 more that still needed to be replaced. To this date I have not heard back from Solargain and I still have 2 damaged panels waiting to be replaced.

May 04,2020Initial sales and install fine After few weeks lost the internet connection and could not moniter system. Had a few issues getting problem resolved and it wasnt until 2nd or 3rd call to Solargain that was advised to call enphase themselves as the problem was between our internet connection an theirs,. Problem solved over the phone in a few minutes

May 04,2020The installation process went very smoothly with no hiccups. The guys were friendly and explained everything clearly. Both were long time employees/contractors of Solargain. Full payment was easy and after the install, which was surprising and pleasing. The only issue i have had is that the App to monitor the system was being changed over the first month or two after installation so i have not been able to see what my system has been producing or how good the App is. I'm still not sure whether the new App is up and running, so some communication regarding this would be helpful.

Apr 29,2020System is working, we have receives some credits on our account. It's a pity we can't see how it's working on a daily basis, readings by phone and online have not worked properly since day 2 of completion. When we have tried to fix the issue, it just won't connect properly.
