May 04,2013This is one of those genuinely excellent companies to find out about. I love the personal service and proper advice - e. g. they're happy to tell you when a frame doesn't suit you! And their prices are so much less than my optician wanted! I've used them for my last three pairs of glasses and will definitely be back for my next ones too.

Had new frames which only required reglazing, Specsavers wanted double what Spectacles Direct quoted so decided to give them a try. So glad I did! Will definitely be using them again. Thanks!

Apr 26,2013The service I received from the Company was old-fashioned, old-fashioned in the sense that I was contacted by phone to ensure that the details of my order were correct. This way of doing business had, I thought, gone out with flared trousers and flower power, and to paraphrase the PM of the times "these are people I can do business with" - and hopefully will continue to do business with. Thank you, Spectacles Direct, you made an old man very happy!

Apr 21,2013First time I have ever bought spectacles on line, was quite concerned but the price was good so I gave it a go. Entered all my prescription details, measured the distance between pupils etc and uploaded my prescription too just in case! Well that was Sunday, Thursday via tracked Royal Mail specs arrived, well packaged. Opened them put the on and had t do the usual tweak with the nose bit and one arm to fit my head, job done, the fit, I can see well through them and they are exactly what I ordered, I will return in the future. I also recommend you try them.

Apr 16,2013Bought 2 pairs of glasses from the shop with great price offer and selection of two different glasses! Do highly recommend buying from the shop direct if possible oppose to buying online. By buying from the shop direct, they adjusted the glasses for us until it has perfect. I think this is important since we all come in different shapes, sizes and different features. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Eric and David. Thanks again for the great experience!!!

Absolutely fantastic customer service, really clear and helpful when they called to ask what I needed and no pressure for me to pay for what I didn't need. Apr 14,2013I had used them 18 months ago and was impressed then so had no hesitation in going back to them this time. On the phone they were most helpful and informative. When I explained my requirements, they discussed the options open to me and I finished up with exactly what I wanted at half the price of the high street opticians who had tested my eyesight and given me my prescription which, due to my age, was free. Also, their online facilities were easy to use and understand, keeping me well aware of progress, and I had my two pairs of replacement spectacles in under a week!

Apr 14,2013This is my first ever pair of glasses, so very new to the whole experience. The glasses I wanted were double the price at a well known opticians I used for my prescription. However took the plunge and came to Spectacles Direct. I found their name from the eye care vouchers that my place of work offer. So I went on the website and found the exact same specs at half the price! I must say that I am very impressed, I contacted them for some information and advice and they were very very courteous and helpful. So based on the experience so far I placed my order on the Tuesday and my glasses arrived recorded delivery on the Friday. My glasses are perfect! Would highly recommend this company, my friend is going to use Spectacles Direct when she sorts her own glasses.
