Dec 15,2024The company responded quickly to our request to send a salesman to provide a quotation. We needed to fit the stairlift so that it came down in front of a doorway. He suggested a rail with an extendable section, which would retract automatically when we parked the chair out of the doorway, and further up the stairs. The electrician and lift fitter arrived a few weeks later, in accordance with our schedule. The lift was installed in one morning, and has been in regular use since. The company staff we met were all helpful and courteous. The whole project went well and met all our expectations.

Dec 14,2024Always very professional courteous and tidy. Only criticism is that these visits are not booked in advance but are almost convenience calls because the engineer is 'in the area' very difficult to work like this and need appointments booked in advance.

Dec 13,2024I previously complained of having a wasted journey to be in attendance for a removal. Following that, Stannah agreed to schedule a visit w/c 16 Dec, but I was to call them to confirm the week beforehand, I've now called twice, to find that there is no planned visit, nor any proposed future date. I was given an explanation that there is some sort of reorganisation going on, and this was delaying things. I explained that this has been going on since September, and that in my experience, the only way to get Stannah to call me back was by making a complaint on Trustpilot. So Stannah, over to you, but please do not call back until you can offer me a firm date ! Meanwhile I will have to look at other options.

Dec 12,2024I would not say, this the best company. Call out charge are very high not including the parts charges. Pensioners or family should do research before they buy from this company. 100% especially, if you are the fix budget. You may never to afford fixing after you have purchased. We brought stannah 600. My aunt is 97 years. We should done research on this purchase. Pensioners need lifts and I realise it's about making money. We made a mistake.
