Over 40 years ago we added stairlifts to our range and since then we have helped over 700,000 people make more of their day. With options to buy or rent new or reconditioned stairlifts for straight or curved staircases we have a stairlift to suit everyone.

Dec 05,2024Excellent experience from start to finish. Cannot fault Stannah in any way....... Stuart the Surveyor was very friendly and knowledgeable and guided us through all the reasons why and also the various different options available. Nick in the office was really helpful providing me with all the relevant info I had to send to Building Control (it was a communal stairway installation) and kept me informed regarding installation. Install Team, Paul & Ross arrived early in morning and worked away until installed and then gave us a full demonstration on how to operate. Chair, guiderails and controls all of good quality. Would recommend Stannah highly. Very professional. Thank you.

Dec 03,2024Salesman was very polite, informative and patient. The fitter arrived in the time slot given, he was polite and careful, once fitted he went through how the stair lift worked and only left once we were entirely familiar with how to work it. Highly recommend this company.

Would recommend that a carer or family member attends both appointments as not sure my father took it all in and there were a number of questions to answer regarding his needs.

Dec 02,2024This was the first service of the stairlift. The engineer was thorough and knowledgeable. He explained elements we had not been told before and ensured everything was working perfectly. He found a fault with one of the batteries and this was changed quickly. I would definitely recommend Stannah.

Dec 02,2024I had a problem with my stairlift. The engineer arrived very quickly and explained the problem to me. He made it safe for me to use and returned a few days later (there was a weekend in between) with the spare part which he had to order. He was efficient, polite and lovely with it. Excellent service with a smile.

Dec 05,2024Lee from Stannah (based in York) came to service my mother in laws stairlift following many failed attempts to get another stairlift company to do the work. He was real breath of fresh air with excellent communication very professional and respectful. As a former engineer I also liked his passion for what he did. He is a great advertisement for Stannah. I must also say the ladies in the Newcastle service centre have also been super in delaying with my enquiry. All in a first class experience from start to finish.
