Mar 02,2025I can only agree with the other reviews written. We went to Stokers in Chester where we were ably helped by Scott Dupree. We had an idea what we were looking for. Stokers is huge, but Scott listened to our requirements and budget and narrowed the choice to a few. In fact we ended up purchasing the first model Scott showed us. Very professional set up and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Stokers and Scott Dupree.

Staff polite helpful and genuinely interested in helping you find what you are looking for. Steve H ensured the measurements I required matched the furniture and showed us alternatives. We were talked through the whole process and all questions answered. I have bought furniture from Stoker's before and the quality of stock and fantastic level of great service remains constant. I will continue to travel to Stoker's Chester for future furniture requirements as quality service that is not pushy is a rarity these days but Stoker's have got it nailed. Mar 02,2025No pressure to buy but very helpful once we had questions. A good selection of furniture. Nothing was too much trouble and Tracy was always polite and professional despite us changing parts of our order a couple of times. It was difficult to arrange a delivery slot we could make, but they went out of their way to shuffle things around so we could recieve our furniture, sooner rather than later.

Steve showed us a range that looked good, felt great and suited our budget. He patiently went through the myriad configurations, colours and qualities until we settled on the most practical combination of pieces and we are now sitting uncomfortably until they arrive...

Tracy, who assisted us, was professional, knowledgeable, and gave us space to make our decisions without being too pushy—just the right balance of helpful and patient. The quality of the furniture is outstanding. The couch and cuddler are incredibly comfortable, perfect for relaxing, and the bed and frame are sturdy and stylish, making a real difference to our sleep. Knowing that Stokers is a family-run business and that their furniture is British-made gave us even more confidence in our purchase.

When you're making a large and important purchase, it's so nice to be treated with such respect. Andrew listened to our requirements and presented lots of options for different sofas and fabrics. He was knowledgeable about the products and offered helpful advice without being pushy. It made our experience smooth and enjoyable. I had previously gone into the Ormskirk store and felt staff were not as personable, so will be returning to the Southport store for my next purchase.

We spoke to Graham Bedworth on the Saturday who gave us plenty of information about the sofas/chairs that we were interested in. We visited the next day to assess. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Absolutely no pressure at all. We went off to the very nice cafe around the corner, had a discussion and made our decision. Simple process administered by a very pleasant chap.

What is even more pleasing is Stokers don't just take the sale and move on, you are informed at every stage, what is happening and when your order is on the way. I have to add all furniture so far has been superb as has the delivery and help with setting up. This fourth visit to Stokers has been equally superb. Thanks once again and we will be back for our next order very soon.

The showroom in Chester is very large and well laid out so we were able to look at cabinet furniture at the same time.

Martin was also non pushy but answered all our questions with a calm and polite attitude. We would recommend Stokers and Martin especially to our friends for a future visit.
