Stokers have an excellent and large range of products and Carl Sixsmith was most helpful throughout the visit, providing valuable advice and information, all with a most affable manner. I would recommend Stokers without hesitation.

We came to buy a sideboard and one member of staff; Graeme Beresford, helped us choose the right one. We bought it at very competitive price, with free delivery too! Nov 01,2024Looking for armchairs today. There was a really good selection of styles, fabrics and sizes. Graeme Beresford assisted us in selecting the right size chairs and ensured we had the best price for them. He was helpful without being pushy, happy to leave us to browse but equally happy to research fabrics, sizes and delivery dates. Second time we have used Stokers, and very happy to recommend them. The member of staff Graeme Beresford always makes us feel at easy without any pressure but there if we have any questions. We have recently bought a new chair for the lounge and Graeme Beresford was informative and helpful as always.

Nov 01,2024I can't comment on the sales as I didnt make the purchase but the delivery service was amazing. Two extremely helpful men 'Nick and Graham' offered to move my existing sofa to another room for me and then set up the new chair and checked it was all working and explained everything before they left. Its not often you get as nice and as helpful delivery men as these, highly recommend Stokers just for this service alone, the fact that the chair is super comfy is a bonus!

Nov 01,2024After being let down by another company we went to Stokers. We were greeted by Roy Turner the manager who asked if we needed any assistance and stated if we did to come and see him. We found him helpful and knowledgeable regarding fabrics etc. No heavy pressure to buy. We went home to measure up and sleep on it. When we returned the next day to purchase the furniture they had a clearance sale on. We were advised and assisted with our purchase by Sandra Maddox she was helpful and friendly the only delivery date open was a day we couldn’t make. Sandra made some phone calls and rearranged things to enable us to have delivery. The delivery went perfectly and we got the suite we wanted on the day we wanted for half the price and the delivery men ensured the suite was put together and positioned where we wanted. Excellent service by all involved

Nov 01,2024Went into the Chester Branch Sept 2024. Lots of choice but having walked around looking in detail for a new mattress we had no-one from the store come and talk to us. Wrote that down to bad timing and bought via their internet site a top of the range Tempur mattress on a 2-3 week delivery in Sept 2024. Terrible comms ever since, excuses about delays, no accountability and no customer focus. Don’t expect your product any time soon is my experience, its now week 8 and just called to chase the order which miraculously had just arrived today in the warehouse. Someone might be in touch next week to arrange delivery was what I was told this evening….. Clearly no rush to deliver the product I paid for up front in good faith….. Really surprised and disappointed. UPDATE - the only saving grace here was that when the delivery team did get in touch they managed to move the delivery from being 7days away to a quicker 3days on request. The mattress was delivered today and the delivery team were excellent, Nick and Graham, so the delivery side was spot on. It’s the ordering and customer engagement prior to this that was poor for a premium family business.

Nov 01,2024Experience The sale person Amanda was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us discussing our requirements and suggesting different mattresses to try. We were never pressurised by her or felt that we had to make a decision there and then, she understood when to leave us alone to discuss. The store environment was very relaxed and quiet so all in all it was a first class experience

The process of ordering was very efficient, I can see why Stokers has a good reputation. I will most certainly be back and will not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Nov 02,2024Really refreshing to go into a store where there are no pushy salesmen. We were left to walk around and browse and as soon as we were ready, the salesman, in this case Philip Aldridge, was on hand to advise on all aspects of the furniture we were interested in and to work out the price for the various options We went away to think and returned the next day to place our order, which was completely different from our original choice after speaking to Philip again, nothing was too much trouble. There is a great choice of furniture, the sofas and chairs in a wide choice of styles and fabrics. Philip was knowledgeable, patient, engaging, welcoming, helpful and very professional. Can't wait to go back especially for the delicious coffee and hot chocolate!! I would not hesitate to recommend Stokers and Philip to anyone.
