Oct 30,2024My wife and I went to Stokers as returning customers for a bed base and found Joe Tudor to be most helpful and patient. We had been to other furniture retailers on the Chester Greyhound Park but had little sense from them. Well done Stokers yet again!

Oct 28,2024Recently bought the duresta Harvard sofa in June this year with a delivery date of late August. From then there was no update from Steve Wood who sold me the sofa. After numerous times of chasing in late August I was told by Stokers Chester manager Craig Edge that Duresta had an issue with the fabric and now will be delivered in October and then the sofa manufactured and then delivered late October. Again from then, no update from Stokers at all and after 4 phone calls finally get hold of Craig Edge who tells me that there is a problem with a mill in Belgium (in administration) and the fabric won’t now be till late November and the sofa now delivered mid to late December. Stokers are still selling this same sofa and fabric to customers even though the mill that supplies Duresta is in administration!! Craig Edge has offered me no alternative or any recourse other than you can have a refund!! The customer service has been appalling to say the least

Oct 25,2024Our first visit to Stokers looking for a sofa bed. Was very impressed with the amount of choice and the knowledgeable staff. Amanda and Pete were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They pulled the beds out, closed them up then pulled them out again while we made up our minds. There was no pressure to buy. I would highly recommend Stokers. The customer service is superb. Such a pleasant change these days!
