Oct 24,2024Visited Chester shop whilst looking for a new sofa. Experience totally different than a previous store on the park. In that store we were met at the door and followed around being pushed to "look at this etc." In Stokers we were left to look around and it was us that approached Joe Tudor the salesman when we were ready to discuss options. Very knowledgeable talked us through and when we made a choice the transaction was completed smoothly. Completing the paperwork Joe explained the process for the order and delivery. A happy customer

Oct 23,2024This is the first time we have visited Stokers and we were very impressed. No pressure but very helpful staff when needed. Martin was particularly helpful. We purchased an ex display sofa and it represented excellent value. Delivery was good we had a difficult property to get the sofa in but Graham and Neil did an excellent job. Recommended.

The whole process has been super easy and efficient, right down to the two amazing delivery guys (Nick and Graham) who delivered our mattress today. I would highly recommend Stokers and will keep returning.

Oct 23,2024We have recently ordered leather sofas, single chair and oak dining room table and leather banquet bench, and wooden bench - Martin Worley came to our assistance, he was helpful and professional, easy to talk to and have good advice so we could make the best choices for our purchase, He was able to get the best possible deal for us too Stokers is always our first choice for purchasing furniture, great service and lots of choice Would so wish for it all to be delivered before Christmas, sofas 6 weeks from order but understand the table and bench and banquet seat can take up to 3.5 months from order date, looking forward to receiving!

Steve Hartwell greeted my girlfriend and I in a very warm and friendly, non-intrusive manner, and proceeded to share the wealth of knowledge on all things mattresses. He went beyond the call of duty, staying after the shop closed whilst we took our time arriving on our choice between two products. We are very happy with our purchase and looking forward to its delivery. Thanks again Steve.

Oct 19,2024Bought a sofa from the Stokers, Chester store yesterday and we dealt with a guy called Andy. Really nice fella who gave us a great discount package deal with the sofa. I'll also add, we went to a few different stores in Chester yesterday but Stokers had the best selection of Sofas and we got free delivery with them as well, which was an added bonus (some of their rivals wanted £99 for delivery). Definitely recommend Stokers and as I've said, Andy was a really nice fella.

Oct 19,2024The Ormskirk branch is fabulous. Tracy was happy to answer any questions, and really helped talk me through best ways to decide between colours and fabrics that I liked. Absolutely no pressure at all when browsing. A polite welcome into the shop, and then there when you need them. I cannot bear to be followed around the shop like you get in the other main furniture retailers. I've bought my last two sofas here. It is such a big purchase you have to be able to trust their knowledge, and the quality of furniture. Both first class here. They also do 0% credit for up to 3 years, which is a big help.

Oct 17,2024Just had our beautiful Italian leather suite delivered. The delivery driver Graham and his colleague Nick were fantastic. It was not the easiest task to get the three seater sofa and electric recliner in our dinky cottage. However they did so with skill and the care of our home. They worked together to achieve the almost impossible, and were are so grateful for them doing so. They were polite respectful of our home and furnishings and an asset to Stokers. Quickly established what I wanted, showed me to the selection and left me to decide, being available if I had questions. Kept me informed of the progress, after the saleThe cup of tea was a very welcome bonus. Three piece suite is just the job. Only fly in the ointment was the time of the delivery - should have been pm and arrived early am. I should have declined as it was very inconvenient but I was ill and not thinking straight. Otherwise - brilliant.

Nick and Graham delivered the tv unit today, and they were a fantastic help and arrived promptly during my time slot, also they were very friendly!
