Even though I had problems with the new car, not one member, but the whole team I was involved with bent over backwards to help. From the sales team to service team, all did their best. All were pleasant and available, to smooth the way, which eased the disappointments and anxiety. Having bought Renault for many years through Evan Halshaw we were told by Evan Halshaw Renault has moved to Stoneacre. So not feeling valued as a customer by Evan Halshaw we went to Stoneacre & were glad we did. We dealt with a fantastic salesman Jake who made the whole car buying process easy & relaxed with no pressure to buy at all, he even found us a brand new Clio which only costs us £10 a week more than what we've been paying for the last four years, we also traded our car in & surprisingly got more than we thought we would. We were walked through all the finance agreement which was explained well & easy to understand. The aftercare was excellent with Jake emailing us all the way through the process. The overall experience was great & we will not be shopping anywhere else but Stoneacre in the future & will be looking for Jake to take care of our business.
The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. It started on the 15th Feb with an efficient and friendly welcome by the manager Graham. Our sales person Jack was also very friendly and efficient and couldn’t have done anymore to help us with our difficult downsizing decision. Both were open and honest and discussed the cars and process in an easily understood and friendly way. There were no pressure sales techniques which was particularly welcome. Within 10 days we were driving away in our new XC 40 ultra which we are really enjoying and are pleasantly surprised at how spacious it is. Will definitely return to Stoneacre Sheffield. A much better experience than other Volvo dealers we have experienced.

As an elderly couple who had always bought from new, we were a little apprehensive about purchasing a 'good' used car. Daniel was extremely helpful and patient and, as our car was in a somewhat dubious condition, he kindly ferried us back & forth! So far, we are very happy with our purchase and appreciated his attention.

Bought work vans from Andrew Thorpe at Van World. Super helpful and easy to deal with. We bought these remotely from Scotland and the vans arrived as described. Will definitely give them a call next time im buying.

He helped sort our private plate and has offered support to sort the vehicles app connectivity even though it’s not his branch’s brand. He wasn’t pushy for the sale and that made me more inclined to work with him to find the right car and deal. An asset to your company and the Grimsby branch

As car buying goes this was probably as easy as it gets full marks to Jake Dougan who made the whole process as painless as possible.
Neil & the team were amazing from the moment I walked into the show room and the after care I’ve received. All my questions were answered in details and nothing was too much for them. We’ll be back if we ever decide to swap the car again!
Extremely disappointing experience with Stoneacre Goole. What started as a casual car browsing trip quickly turned into a high-pressure sales situation with a representative (Kye) openly telling us he needed to meet sales targets. We were pressured into leaving a £5000 deposit when financing couldn't be completed on the spot. When we decided against the purchase the next day, the real problems began. Despite requesting a refund immediately, it has been 11 DAYS and they still haven't returned my £5000. I have made multiple follow-up calls, each time i'm kept on hold for at least 20 minutes, When I finally reached someone, I'm met with rudeness and told to "go complain to head office as it wasn't his problem." The way your are still holding on to my money and your dismissive attitude when questioned is completely unprofessional. I would strongly advise potential customers to be very cautious when dealing with this Company.

Feb 28,2025Very disappointed with Stoneacre Hull.(Previously Trenton)I rang to book a service and MOT. Initially the member of staff was helpful. He then tried selling me products that were already included in the service, so I would have been paying twice. I also said that the driver door was making a rattling sound and needed to be investigated. When I confirmed my booking via email they were going to charge me £144 just for looking at the door. When I received a call to say my car had passed the MOT, but it needed a lot of work. It sounded like the car should be written off. It’s 5 years old and only has 15,000 miles on the clock. When I questioned all the “problems” they had found I was advised it’s only advisory. I have been a customer of Trenton Hull for many years and have never had any problems with them until Stoneacre took over.
