Excellent service from David Beaman and I have a wonderful car. Bartering with his boss to get the best deal was interesting but we got there in the end! Thank you.

Bought a car from Hyundai Stoneacre in Sheffield and dealt with Craig White from start to finish. Absolutely brilliant kept me updated all the way through and bent over backwards to get me the best deal possible within my budget. He knew his stuff and was an absolute pleasure to deal with! Would DEFINATELY come back to do another deal with Craig in the future.

Thank you for yours below I have already been down that route and I was basically ignored by the Garage and Customer Services went missing in action. I was then told on this site that it had been passed to the relevant department ONE month ago. But I will put in my complaint again as requested. Reply from Stoneacre Motor Group Just now Gerry, The response is one of acknowledgement. To submit a complaint, please go to our website, scroll to the bottom, and you will see a Customer Relationship tab. Regards AR-Stoneacre Well this is my final update and as expected no response from Stoneacre Head Office, what so ever. So sending a very clear message to all customers "Beware we cannot be trusted" I will be sending these comments to Toyota UK, Toyota Europe and Japan. Thats all for now and good luck Gerry Harrison 2 reviews GB Rated 1 out of 5 stars Updated 26 Feb 2025 Do they care really? Update No 2 After sales service very poor. Verbally abused in their show room so I turned round and left. Upon leaving I was falsely accused of sending abusive email. When questioned about the above there was zero response from anyone at the Stoneacre group including customer services. So after 3 months and many emails I sent email closing this matter to all involved. With no response. I will let you make your own decision. I await their response and taking bets it is as below although they have already been involved, along with the Makers UK head office. Anyone feeling lucky? Will this be the response? "Reply from Stoneacre Motor Group Customer satisfaction is very important here at Stoneacre and we are disappointed to learn your experience was anything less than exceptional. We will take your feedback on board and use it to improve. Thank you for bringing this to our attention" Update Thank you for your response. So what should I do if I don't hear anything from them which going by previous track record is odds on favourite?? Date of experience: 18 February 2025 Reply from Stoneacre Motor Group 26 Feb 2025 We appreciate you taking the time to provide more information. We have sent your review to the relevant department who will look into the issues mentioned. Best Wishes Stoneacre Head Office

I am reaching out regarding a person named James (james.flaxman-binns), who took a refundable deposit from me over the phone on February 14th. He stated that the refund would be processed to my account the following day. However, almost three weeks have passed, and this timeline is unacceptable for such a small amount. This situation falls short of the professional standards and expectations I anticipated. I have already emailed him about the delay but have yet to receive a response. He also does not answer phone calls. I request an email address to escalate this issue, as I find it extremely frustrating to continually chase you for my refundable deposit. Additionally, I contacted your chat support since phone support was unresponsive, and they suggested I fill out a form. This experience thus far has been quite poor! It is becoming increasingly concerning, and I may have to report this to trading standards for what feels like harassment of customers. I have diligently completed the Customer Relationship Enquiry form, yet my efforts have been met with conspicuous silence, leading me to ponder whether refundable deposits are a nefarious and scandalous revenue stream for the company. It appears they deliberately delay refunds, perhaps with the insidious hope that customers will ultimately forget their rightful claims. Why engage in business at all if one cannot adhere to the most basic tenets of ethical business conduct?

Stoneacre bought the dealership that I purchased my car from. The service I get from the dealership is still as good as it was. However, Stoneacre head office start hassling me months before service/MOT is due, in fact last year they told me the annual service was due when my car is on a two yearly or 16,000 miles so was not due until September 2025 or 32,000miles on the clock at the time it had not quite done 27,000 miles. How many people would fall for the tactic and potentially have car serviced twice as often as required! Now they have started again two months before the MOT is due (so I cannot get it MOT'ed for at least another month, and I still have a 1000 miles to go before service is due. I don't mind them contacting me a month early as many people probably do need a reminder, but just one reminder please, I have had an eMail, letter through the post, mobile phone calls and a landline call. I do not answer these any more as to book your car in for a service you have to be offered all sorts of other sales options trying to screw more cash out of you for many things you would do yourself or get done when flagged in a service. The phone call was at least 20 minutes to get through all the sales pitches to be able to book your car in for a service! It would be quicker to drive to the service centre and book it in, which is what I intend to do. One reminder through one contact medium is fine, to be fair when I bought the car (albeit not Stoneacher), my contact preferences were set to be eMail and postal NOT telephone as I worked shifts.

I bought a XC90 in May of 2024 from Newcastle Store. I have returned to the garage to ask a couple of questions re operation certain things and also as my phone disconnected. The service team couldn't fix my disconnection issue. They even reset something on my electrics to reset maps phone etc and it still didn't work. I then had to return the car for a day to allow them to put on the machine etc. Matthew Lane (salesman who sold me the car) always recognises me and asks how I am doing and if I need help when I visit. On the day when I took my car in he saw me and asked me what was wrong. He knew immediately how to fix the issue. He logged into the settings on my car, made a few clicks reset something and da daaaa! Thank god I was not without an car for that day!...... He's not just a salesman! Maybe the service team needs some training off Matthew! Well Done Matthew! Very Helpful!! 5* x - Jane

It was our first experience to buy a car from Stoneacre. We visited the Chesterfield Peugot branch. The whole experience was swift and smooth. We test drove, bought and came home with in few hours. The salesman and sales Manager were honest and straightforward. There was no push to sell anything which was not required. Will highly recommend the branch. Dr Saleem

Friendly meet and greet with no pressure to buy. Entrusted to take out the car without the salesperson to have a thorough test drive.

Jake @ Stoneacre Renault Sheffield listened to our questions and responded to our needs. We were very pleased with the car, service, and the deal we got.

Have had no end of issues with Stoneacre Peterborough - after sales care is practically non-existent, Chloe is the only person who is helpful and responsive (if it wasn't for her I would score them 0 if I could). I have to chase for a reply when I contact them for help, and one of the managers, Callum, never responds to emails sent to him. I have had endless problems with my vehicle, and they never seem to quite know how to sort them. My car was recently in for 5 weeks, and I was often waiting over a week between updates to know what was happening. A service was carried out by them just before I bought it home last week and it has now failed an MOT on something that should be checked during an interim service. Overall, I would not recommend Stoneacre at all, and although I have used them for a number of years, all of the problems I have had with this car and their awful service in the last 2 years means I will not use them again.

Stoneacre Sunderland (Toyota) - bought an X1 2021 Grey said to be in excellent condition on Sat 22 Feb 2025 This company lied from start to finish. We travelled from South Lincolnshire to collect car and were not told the car could have been sold via the Peterborough branch Cost us in excess of £250 for the journey - withholding info that would have saved us this travel cost Told they give a 12 Fully Inclusive Warranty only to find out later that it is a 6 month guaranteed and covers very little. Refused to change the rear windscreen wiper that was scrpaing when used as rubber had hardened. Stoneacre in Peterborough sold me one for just under £30 fitted. Twice they ordered the wrong part for the vehicle. I went on Amazon and had one delivered the next day for £7.49! Took a you tube video and screwdriver to remove the damaged one and 10 seconds to click the new on ein place! Sunderland promised to have the car valeted inside and out. When we arrived to collect on Sat afternoon the car had not been cleaned at all. They agreed that we could take it to Stoneacre Peterborough for the full valet. When I arrived at the agreed appointment time one of the managers was initially saying they were too busy to do it! Making me feel like I was putting them out. Begrudgingly they got it done. Now I understand why they didn't valet it in Sunderland. All fours alloy wheels are pitted (not excellent condition as told to me over the phone - another lie) Refurbing will cost me near £500 The windscreen has multiple stone chips that you can only see when the sun shines on it after it has been cleaned - this is a car that is 3 and a half years old! Another lie about the overall condition of the car. We paid for the car in full on the Friday having included a 3 year fully inclusive warranty for £700. The BMW service interval is on the indicator and having been serviced in May 2024 was due again in May 2026 or 10000 miles. BEWARE - What they don't tell you is if you don't service the car every year at a Stoneacre garage it void's the warranty! Then it transpired that the car had had a service when it arrived at Stoneacre. We were told the car had just arrived that's why it hadn't been valeted. The Stoneacre service was done on 21 Jan - so they had had the car for a month - another lie! We had to fight to get teh evidience of this service sent across. I would strongly recommend that you view any Stoneacre car that you are interested in. Don't listen to their BS about the condition being amazing. Remember you are buying the car, not the story about the car. Stoneacre extended warranties are pointless - you will be left facing extensive bills as they will wiggle out of sorting any issues. Also - If there are any late services in the car's history the warranty will be voided! This is NOT told to anyone even when signing up for the extended warranties! When a garage says they can't give you the historical invoices/paperwork due to GDPR this is a lie. All they have to do is redact (remove) the personal details like names, emails, addresses and any phone numbers from the paperwork. I will never buy a car from another Stoneacre dealership. Avoid!

Awful and untruthworthy company! Purchased a vehicle in 2023 with prior engine issues - back and forth with the same problem fast forward to now the engine needs replacing. They will not honour the life line warranty that I paid for. Currently going through the ombudsman and trading standards. Avoid company especially the Wolverhampton branch

Brilliant experience from start to finish. I drove over 200 miles to see a car and wasn't disappointed. Previous to the journey I had been sent plenty of videos and information so I knew I was in safe hands. And it's all the things you don't expect that surprise. Treated as you'd expect. I would use this garage again in the blink of an eye even if that means driving 4.5hrs. Good work
