Feb 13,2025Recently bought a car from Stoneacre, the sales staff very really friendly, honest and helpful. However I got bombarded with calls/texts/voicemails off people claiming to be Stoneacre and trying to sell me various warranties and insurance. The servicing business also really let this company down. They had the car for a week between we buying and collecting, in this time they had some scratches repaired on the car (to a very good standard) but after collecting I realised that the car had not been cleaned (there was money, wrappers and crumbs in every nook and cranny in the car) and it had not been MOT’ed or had the service book stamped. I then had to arrange to take the car back for a day so that they could do everything they should have done in the first place. The staff who checked the car in were then trying to get me to pay for the MOT and any parts that it would need which I had to argue against as this should have already been done. When I got the MOT report via email it has two advisories which totalled over £200, not what you want to see on your new car, however the MOT certificate had no advisories. Basically they scare monger you into paying for things that don’t need doing and are not worthy of being an actual advisory, they just want to sell you extra products which is shocking. Other members of my family have had the same experience, I would never use this company for car servicing in the future.

Feb 13,2025My wife and I recently purchased a Fiat 500 from Stoneacre in Sheffield on Penistone Road. All the staff were exemplary. One employee helped remove a roof rack from our trade in and Craig, the sales person who looked after us, was superb. Easiest and best experience that I have ever had buying a car. Craig was polite, efficient and helpful. Less than two hours from arrival to driving away in our new car. Thank you. Would highly recommend them.

Feb 12,2025Having just purchased a new Volvo XC40 from Stoneacre Newcastle, I'm pleased to say that the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. This is the second vehicle we have bought through Stoneacre Volvo Newcastle and both times we have been incredibly well looked after by Martyn Weaver. I bought my XC60 from Martyn last year and was so impressed with that experience that it was a no-brainer for us to return. Initially my wife wasn't sure whether the XC40 was the car she wanted so Martyn arranged one for a test drive and, with minimal administration, sent us off on our own to see what we thought. On our return, Martyn patiently went through the various options, with no 'hard sell' whatsoever. Everything was clearly explained from specification to finance and we left to have a final think about it. Having decided to place an order, Martyn kept us fully informed throughout the whole process and the car was delivered ahead of schedule. Stoneacre's pre-delivery preparation was exemplary, from the preparation of the vehicle to Martyn going through the various controls and setting up phone connections etc, and it was a pleasure to take the new car home. Since then Martyn has made contact to check that everything is fine and that we're happy with the car. That's 2 cars we've bought from Martyn now and, whilst it should be a while before we need another, we know where we'll be going when we do.

Although there was a paint issue this was quickly rectified and dealt with professionally therefore my review and Karen warrant a 5* The driver who kindly collected and delivered my car was also a really polite guy unfortunately I don't know his name to mention. I would recommend Stoneacre. Thank you

Feb 11,2025Initially went in to Durham Toyota to enquire about a car i had seen online. Spoke to Sam. He was very friendly and up front which i appreciated. He allowed me time to look at the car at my own pace (I am very fussy). I decided i wanted to proceed and negotiate a deal which was successful due to Sam’s efforts. When we did the handover, he made the process staggeringly easy and fast. After this he spent time helping register my phone and showing me how to use the MyToyota App. He then organised sorting my private plates out. I noticed a small issue with the steering and contacted Sam the following day. He then invited me back into dealership so the workshop could inspect and rectify, which they did with no issue. He then organised to have my private plates fitted to the car. I have driven away from this dealership a very happy customer. This is probably the best car purchasing experience i’ve ever had and thats all down to Sam. Thanks alot.

Feb 11,2025We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were totally helpful in showing us around our chosen vehicle. The extras we required were offered to us at prices we thought were reasonable and handover was done smoothly. We had reason to return as the tracking system we had purchasef and fitted could not be activated and the service staff were more than helpful. All in all our experience was very positive and we would have no hesitation in recommending Stoneacre Volvo to anyone

Feb 11,2025I moved to Lexus due to a staff member Peter Husband. I've bought a few cars from Peter at Jaguar and Land Rover. When he moved over I followed. Peter has always gone above and beyond for me and always trustworthy. I know he always looks out for me and is only a phone call away! Also,Alex was with me for a test drive. He was lovely and very patient with me! A great lad! 10 out 10 for both of them.

Feb 11,2025Stoneacre persistantly lied to me and avoided me, I eventually gave up chasing them and sold the car they sold me on to another company at a loss to me. I will never deal with them again and I advise anyone to stay well clear. In addition to this I have cancelled the service plan with Stonacre and now they are trying to deduct money from what I have paid it's criminal just how shockingly crap Stonacre are Never deal with this company they are rip off merchants.

The staff were very hospitable and offered refreshments and made us feel very comfortable whilst we went through all the information about the vehicle. The dealer was very informative and explained in great detail the new and latest functions of the vehicle . He also demonstrated all the controls and how best to use them. I feel very confident in Stoneacres customer care, and I would certainly recommend them to others.

Feb 11,2025When I arrived at Stoneacre; Northallerton, searching for a change of car, I was impressed with everything there. The sales person, Tim Marsh was really helpful. Any questions I had were fully answered very well indeed. Including any queries I had and over the phone/internet, later on. As well as handling the sale and part exchange in a helpful and professional way, Tim is an excellent representative for the Stoneacre dealership. Also; the motor car (Toyota Aygo X), I bought, is a quality car, great to drive. Added to this is the optional extras, warranty, service cover, which gives me peace of mind for my motoring needs.
