Dec 09,2024Bought a Dome black, only to later be told they wouldn’t be in stock for a further 4 months! This should have been highlighted on website. Also bought peels, of which one was also not in stocked. I wasn’t notified until I chased the company as I was waiting on delivery for a long time even for the items that were in stock. In hindsight I wouldn’t use again.

Dec 08,2024Ordered a new multi-fuel stove and chimney lining kit from StovesAreUs back in October. Called the company prior to placing the order to ensure everything was in stock and could be delivered in the 3-5 working day timeframe they advertise. They said it was all in, and would be delivered in less than a week (possibly even within 48 hours), so we placed the order. Big mistake. Fast forward over two weeks, several emails and half a dozen phone calls and we still had neither a stove nor a fitting kit and had to cancel the stove fitter and the scaffold hire at our own cost. When the order did finally arrive, it was wrong and needed collecting. When their subcontracted company came to collect and replace the incorrect items with the correct ones, they'd actually just brought the exact same wrong items they were supposed to be collecting!! In the end we ran out of time to wait any longer and sourced the missing components elsewhere, again at our own cost. To say the entire process was farcical is an understatement. Delivering the wrong order is an understandable human error, but to try and replace it with the exact same order is just ridiculous. That's someone not doing their job or even reading the paperwork. This company has mostly rave reviews on here, so I'm guessing all this was just a blip, but our experience wasn't a good one and I won't be using them again. They need to have a serious chat with their suppliers as it appears to be them letting the side down and making them look bad.

Dec 07,2024The delivery window was between 12:42-14:42 on a Friday. I took the day off work. I waited all day on Friday and nothing came, no communication from anyone. I tried to call dispatch company but no answer. Then stove arrived unexpectedly on Saturday morning. Driver was very nice and polite and informed us that he had not been given our phone number to alert us of his arrival for that morning.
