Micheal Normington was our engineer cannot fault my experience with this lovely man he rang me the day before to make sure I was still ok with installation of my smart meter,then again this morning he was absolutely amazing with my autistic son most engineers I’ve had in the house normally ignore Logan but micheal talked him through everything that was going to happen we avoided a meltdown thanks to Micheal being so kind and understanding,I’d highly recommend Micheal for any job really hope it’s him doing my gas meter next he went above and beyond for us can’t thank him enough for his time and patience
The representative Chris Wemyss who has come to check out my gas meter was very helpful with getting me informed on all I needed to know and how he handled the situation.

Chiz, the Engineer replaced our gas and electricity meters today afterbI reported the gas meter failing less than 12 hours' before to Octopus. The job was done quickly and professionally by Chiz. We had Michael Normington for our engineer and he was great. He got straight to it and as the boiler is in my son's room he even got my son involved. My son is high functioning on the spectrum and can bee very chatty but Michael helped put me at ease having a joke with him and chatting to him. It helped I think, that he has the same name as my son. Thank you Michael x

Had smart meter fitted today by Scottish Power engineer Michael Normington. Work carried out and completed quickly and tidily, everything explained in regards to using and getting the app and how the meter works in general.
The engineer called the night before and gave an approximate time and he turned up at that time. He was polite and professional and got the job done. He is a great representative for his company

Our energy provider had arranged the appointment to install a smart meter. We were kept informed about the appointment and the installer, Liam Andrew phoned to confirm that he would be there at the agreed time. Liam was polite and competent and fitted the new meter. He made sure the system was working properly and that we were happy with how to use the system.
