Didn’t expect outstanding internet service from a third party provider, but I have had internet for a week now and been able to use it maybe twice - with only one device connected. Reached out for assistance and basically got told they’d get back to me and send a tech out. So far no word, and I’ve paid for internet for a week I’ve barely been able to use. Not worth the discounted price when the service is this terrible. I will be fighting to end my contract with TekSavvy.

I have been asking Teksavvy to send me bills for a few years now- they have not done this i missed a payment of 59$ they have shut off my internet and are charging me 100$ to turn it back on I wasn't aware the company suffered that much for money!! I have been a customer for over 10 years and this is the terrible treatment they offer- I will be changing to a different company

Not happy with the service. Frustrating the service went down every single day. Then the modem decided to catch on fire it was smoking, almost had a fire in our apartment. We canceled the service they sent out another modem which is useless, since we switched internet provider. Useless company

Honestly, don't go with Teksavvy company. They rely on other providers to activate your service. The outcome of this arrangement I've come to realize is an unpredictable installation date. For instance, I was quoted October 15, 2024, however, it is now October 17th (day three without internet), and Teksavvy acknowledges they have no idea when it will be connected. While this company is cheap, there are likely better alternatives. I would NOT recommend them at this point. It is worth pointing out there are no customer service gestures to make up for the profound issues this has created - no discount, no nothing. Just .... sorry? MOVE ON - FIND A DIFFERENT CARRIER.

TekSavvy unwilling to listen to customer and take ownership of the problem they created, Instead, it keep pointing the finger at their vendor (Rogers). TekSavvy sent me a new modem, the old modem was no longer going to be in service in the new year. My internet was working fine. I replaced the hardware as instructed by Teksavvy, the internet problems began. Talked to customer support on the phone, reset this, do that, the usual waste of time to no avail. I was asked to wait 24 hours, if the problem persisted to call them back. Called them back, reset this, do that....more waste of time. "We'll have to send a technician". In spite of my protests saying the problems began atter a change in hardware...Rogers cancelled the technician visit because the line didn't show any downtime, TekSavvy did not notified me the appointment was cancelled... A couple of years ago when they changed the service from a Bell dry line to Rogers Cable there was the same problems right away with the new hardware, terrible intermittent connection. Called Teksavvy, reset the modem, do this, do that...off course it didn't fix anything. The very first Rogers technician who came to check the cable, said "this modem model is terrible, tell Teksavvy to send you a different modem", I relayed the information to Teksavvy, they refused to replace the modem. After 3 months and 4 Rogers technician's visits later, Teksavvy finally agreed to replace the modem, Unfortunately, they sent the same modem model, it didn't fix the issue. So, another Roger technician visit later and me asking them to send a different type of modem, it took Teksavvy 4 months in total, a different type of modem (Smart RG) solved the problem. Now, I am once again having issues with hardware change. Twice they scheduled a Roger technician and twice the visit was declined because of no downtime with the line. I agree with Rogers, the problem is with the Hitron CODA modem. Oct.15 update. Sent 3 emails, no reply from TekSavvy, called them again. They are sending me another modem (unfortunately the same brand). Oct 21 update, new modem and no change in service, I continue to have intermittent connection. If anyone reading this. No follow up from TekSavvy, I'll have to call them again as they haven't reply to any of my emails.

I’m mad, but I’m also disappointed. When I first started with tech savvy I bought the lowest quality option available. Since then I’ve come up a bit and wanted to buy the “100mb/s” bullsh!t option that was honestly worse than the cheapest I had originally gone with. When I moved it took, no f*c#ing kidding, three WEEKs to get out to send someone to just flick a switch to hook it up. This company is trash, their service is a scam and they don’t give a sh!t about their customers. F$ck tech savvy

Always has downtimes. Tech support tells you to do the same 2 things everytime and worst of all, very vague terms and conditions. I got charged the fee of their modem because "it smelt funny". And just redirected me to look at their poorly worded terms and conditions

I had to install a new Wi-Fi modem and it wasn't working - Teksavvy, unlike many many other tech and other type firms nowadays, put me quickly in touch with a technical representative. The representative's name is Luke he was a very nice guy, very helpful and patient and pleasant to deal with. I commend Luke and Teksavvy on their commitment to providing good service.

One of the worst companies to go with for internet, it takes forever to get a tech to come and setup and for services and once you are finally fed up with the service you go ahead and cancel the service and they won't even refund you the money. BUNCH OF LOW LEVEL CROOKS!!!! THATS WHAT THEY ARE. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

I have been with TekSavvy for just over a year now and I very rarely have problems with my internet. I just recently had some issues and used their 'live chat' function for customer support and Rose was a fantastic representative, she was very helpful and fast at getting to a solution! Their customer support whether on the live chat or calling has always been great!

Horrible experience worst experience in my life. I had switched companies to get internet service but the issue is that it has take over a month to get my service hooked up which has made me so overwhelmed. My husband was hit by a truck and leg amputated and lost my job due to not being able to work at home if you want to wait over a month for service and be told 24-48 hours everyday for over a month and then told to go to the food bank if you can’t work but I work at home so without internet and no work for over a month go ahead I’ve been in tears all summer as this has been the worst summer of my children’s lives due to the accident and all summer no internet and now it is September still no internet I’m just livid and appalled and would never recommend this to anyone

We couldn't afford /really didn't want to pay the premium to go with the big three so we found Tecksavvy. Never would have went with them had a known what a wait it would be to get a line in to a new house. I get that they're reliant on Shaw/rogers/telus to do that, but there has to be a better service route. We moved in our house on the 15th of august, called teksavvy and the soonest they could get someone out was the 25th, so we wait fine. 25th rolls around and the tech (teksavvy sent out a rogers tech) shows up, only for the them to tell me that we have no line and that a ticket has to be submitted through Teksavvy. Its now September 10 and still no line, no date set. I understand that they're at the mercy of the big three, but they have to fix this process because this is getting ridiculous.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. RUN AWAY! They just resell the last mile of Bell, Rogers and Shaw. If you even manage to get the promised service installed, it may be fine for a bit but the moment you have a technical issue which requires a technician, you will realize they are not worth your business. They are entirely dependent on Bell and Rogers or Shaw tech, who don't care for Teksavvy's customers. After losing a full work week for 5 different appointments booked by Teksavvy with a Bell technician who never showed up, despite Teksavvy's assurance that "this time they will come because it has been escalated with their supervisors", I had no option but to cut my losses and cancel the service. 2 different supervisors assured me that I will be compensated for loss of service and inconvenience but this never happened. All empty promises followed by ghosting me whenever I requested what was promised in writing. While they do answer the CS line and may even be polite, depending on the CS agent, they are useless. They can't help you but instead of being honest about it, they will make empty promises, waste your time, frustrate you with their impotence to solve a technical issue and ghost you in the end too. You will never see compensation, no matter how ardently they've promised. They record the calls to have a record of what's agreed but it won't help you. The recordings will only be used against you, if at all. Talk about adding insult to injury. RUN FAR AND FAST! Don't look back!

Used to be great years ago. Garbage service today - constant disconnects, techs who treat me like an idiot (I'm a technical person myself), I get constant packet loss and disconnects and can't get them to send a tech out to take a look at it

I've been a long time customer of Teksavvy with no issues at all. When my modem phased out, I received a new modem the next day! With the help of tech support, I was up and running in no time. I highly recommend Teksavvy as an internet provider.

On August 24th I placed my order for teksavvy internet and phone services, two days later THEY cancelled the service after already mailing me the hardware. When I called customer service she made it seem like it was not their problem and told me to send back the hardware. I told her I had a broken foot and would not be able to get to the post office, she rudely told me if I didn't send it back I'd be charged. I reiterated that it was not my fault they cancelled my service and that it was a huge incovenicne for me as it was because I had already cancelled my other internet provider and that their mistake shouldn't become my problem. I asked her to provide a free return label and have Canada post pick up the package. She refused and insisted I needed to return the items immediately. I said I couldn't walk and asked her to send a tekksavy technician to pick up the hardware. She said for "confidentiality and legal reasons" they could not have it picked up. I told her that was a ridiculous thing to say as a technician was scheduled to come to my home to do the installation in a few days and they had my permission to come and get the hardware. She became belligerent and told me to get someone to return it or I'd be charged and that I wasn't a lawyer and then hung up on me while I was speaking. Absolutely disgusting behavior! Don't give this company your money, they didn't return my money, won't pay to get the equipment returned to them and don't offer service in the middle of a city of 1 million plus people but won't tell you that until after you've already given them your money and commit.

The internet service works and is comparable in speed with the bigger retailers, if not quite as fast. That's the best I can say about it. Their customer service is trash. My service activation was late, which is not Teksavvy's fault. It *is* Teksavvy's fault that no one bothered to inform me that it would be late despite being able to see the new date of activation in their system, so I lost a full day's pay because I was unable to work when I was supposed to. They offered $10/month off my bill for the next six months as compensation, but when the first invoice came that credit had not been applied. I emailed back immediately to ask for a corrected invoice, but after two weeks with no response I called. After twenty minutes on hold, I was told the credit was not showing on the CSR's end. I waited on hold for about ten more minutes while they talked to a supervisor. I was then told that Teksavvy doesn't correct invoices when they make a mistake, but the credit has supposedly been applied properly now and will start with my next invoice. Let's see if it actually happens. This was all in the first month of being a customer with Teksavvy. If it continues like this I'll be switching back to the other provider - their customer service sucks too but the internet service and equipment they offer are faster and more stable.

When we first decided to switch from bell to TekSavy we got a confirmation for installation date. We arrange our plans to be home that day and waited around all day. Nobody showed. We called and were told that our installation had been changed. Nobody let us know. They finally came a week after the original installation date. Which was a week of no internet since we had cancelled the old provider to align with the new installation. As people who work from home this cost us big time. When talking to support we were told that our new billing cycle would start on the newest installation date. Well they billed us on the new installation date. When we called the lady on customer service told us it wasn’t her fault that Bell, who was the installation tech!?!?!? Came a week later. Ridiculous customer services
