Text Savy used to be good 10 years ago now I would call them rip off savvy their equipment malfunctions and they don’t want to fix it. I call in and I get treated rudely do yourself a favour and find any other Internet provider stay away from tech savvy at all cost you’ve been warned.
Worst experience ever. Stay away from these scammers.
Signed up before Xmas, activation date was Jan 8, multipl call ins, promise of service ... Two techs show up at the same time and leave after 45 min on Jan 15th ... It's now Jan 22nd, called in to ask why I have no service still in was told they are getting another tech out on Jan 25th...total of 8 calls into support ... Cancelled my service ... What's sad is the support, the people on the call just don't give a fck about you or lack of service ... Anyways this is not the same company of 4 years ago ... It's gone south .. never again .. worse than Rogers and shaw combined ...
I waited for two weeks for a technician to come and activate my service on the day of the supposed activation nobody showed up then I called to inquire, and I was told that my area is not illegible for the service that I requested so they asked me to return the equipment that they sent to me and told me my service will be cancelled in two weeks, they couldn’t send me an email saying we cannot serve you, but they sent the equipment and they made me wait and now they want me to print a label and do lots of work for them it's like you went to a restaurant order a burger waited for two hours, and then after two hours the restaurant staff, apologize and say that they don’t have burgers then they ask you to come inside the kitchen and clean the dishes for them
The company sell you home internet with low price and they reduce bandwidth. So, you see speed is ok but it’s so slow. They cheat people by lower price. No trust
The absolute worst service. The landline rarely works and when it does, the line drops after a few minutes. The cable works only intermittently. It constantly lags when it does work. The internet is dead slow even though i pay for the highest speed. I have had the tech out several times, no improvement. They have promised me compensation which I have NEVER received. What a garbage service.
Absolute waste of time. Sent me the hardware just to find out that my service has been cancelled. Apparently, they lied when they said they offer internet at my address. Garbage company, do not waste your time. Horrible customer service, these people do not care about their customers at all
Just hung up with the most lovely customer service agent. Ordered internet for a new address and am looking forward to Tek Savvy’s Internet service :)
Have used teksavvy for over 7years! And unlike some FAKE reviewers who actually work for rogers, Shaw, etc. Please do not believe them. I can tell you honestly that I have never had internet issues. I have the 75mbs plan and the customer support,is fine.
The worst and I mean the worst customer service possible.Please let go of rude people fast and people looking for service look elsewhere if possible.
Customer service agents didn’t provide all the necessary information when inquiring and purchasing an internet package. There’s a lot of miscommunication between the provider coming to install the line connection, customer service agents on the phone, and the modem delivery company. It’s been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Thought that Teksavvy would be better experience than Rogers. So VERY wrong. The internet worked for ONE day, and then a tech from ROGERS came to fix it. Cancelled the service and they charged me for their 5 year old model modem. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Switched to teksavvy tv because rogers is trash and this isn't any better. Always crashing and have to restart, total crap!!
Expensive and if you cancel service and switch to another provider, they start to charge you for retuning equipment. It’s like they want to get back at you for switching.
I contacted a support representative for TekSavvy regarding a problem I was having with receiving internet on my television. Fatema, I believe that I am spelling her name correctly, was patient and very helpful in solving my problem. She was professional and friendly as she assisted me with my problem. She’s a wonderful representative of TekSavvy.
I found a different internet service that was cheaper and I called to cancel this service and the girl I spoke with was very rude. She was asking if I was sure that I wanted to cancel “even though I didn’t give them a chance” and then near the end of the phone call didn’t say good bye, thank you, have a nice day - abruptly ended the phone call. Sounded like she was having a bad day and had she tried to upsell teksavvy to me I would’ve upgraded but since she was rude about the entire phone call I decided against it.
I've been with TekSavvy for 2 years and have had multiple internet service issues and awful customer service. Just recently, my internet was down for almost two weeks. I made multiple calls to TekSavvy to fix the issue and was told the same thing over and over again - that it was an issue with Telus. Each call was dismissed as a "it's not us, it's them" excuse so I called Telus directly who confirmed that there was no issue with their towers in my area and that, according to my address, I should be getting service via TekSavvy. To make matters worse, TekSavvy claimed a Telus employee came to my residence to check the connection which never happened and this was also confirmed by Telus. I called TekSavvy immediately and canceled my service with them, and went with a new provider. They made no attempts to keep me as a customer and it was very clear that they weren't being honest about the situation. I advocated for a refund for all the days I went without service but based on their track record, I don't count on it. Awful experience. I would never chose them again.
I’ve been a Teksavvy customer for over 10 years. We just opened the fourth ticket this year for the same issue after ignoring my emails for the last couple of months. Their customer service used to be excellent but has been steadily declining over the last 5 years. No follow up, no concern that issues aren’t actually resolved.

Feb 09,2024I have set up a service for my aging mother. The service keeps stopping/interputions and I am forced to travel to my mothers home to reset boxes. The system is not stable, even though it is connected to a Rogers line into the house. They refuse to come unless I jump through hoops. I have had it for 2 months and it has stopped working 10 times. The service people have no tools to really help - and no live people to make sure the service is working properly. I will never use this group again. All they want is your monthly cheque and then you are forgotten - especially little old ladies at home.
