Hands down - the worst company I have ever had to deal with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW BECAUSE THIS IS NOT ONLY POST JOB SERVICE RELATED, BUT ALSO WITH BILLING ISSUES. There are so many other pest control companies out there - you do not want to deal with the headache that comes along with signing a contract with this company. We had extensive work done to our attic (over $22,000). They were great off the get go and were quick to take our money. However, when we needed any help after (we have a six year warranty and were told they would follow up with us shortly after the attic was done to assure us everything was good). We called the company for weeks to try to get someone back out to check on our attic because we still could here critters/pests up there. We were only able to get someone to come back out after my husband had threatened to sue them. Additionally, we were told we were required to sign up for their pest control services for a given time. After six months, we cancelled them. I have been waiting for over a month for a refund for my cancelled services (I called to cancel in September and was charged in October). I have called every week regarding the refund and keep being told my case has been escalated and someone will call me back and I will be receiving a refund in 5-7 business days. I have called over four times and have been told the same thing, nobody can get me on the phone with a manager. Well, yesterday I received another charge that was different. I was charged for my warranty (this should not have happened because Terminix built in $2,000+ into our total bill without telling us to cover our warranty). I called Terminix for the fifth time and was told that I should not have been charged but I would need to call the district manager, Todd, to get all of my refunds handled. Well, still haven't heard back from Todd. Still out almost $200 on services I haven't received and were supposed to be cancelled. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR ANYTHING THIS COMPANY HAS TO SAY. THEY WERE SO QUICK TO COME OUT AND SELL US ON THEIR SERVICES BUT THE FOLLOW UP IS ATROCIOUS. I WILL MAKE SURE TO LET EVERYONE I KNOW THAT ASKS FOR ANYTHING RELATED TO THEIR OFFERINGS TO AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.

worst customer service. they refuse to deal with you and string you on. the poor agent make 25 dollars while the company pockets the rest. and there is zero communication between the main office and the regional and the poor agent. RUN from this company.

It has been over 6 months now since I contacted Terminix to control my mosquito problem and promised results - over $1200 charged to my account and paid. Guess they take u on the termite treatment since u can't see anything, but my main concern was mosquitos, no absolutely no results after multiple treatments. I plead to renegotiate the $202 they were taking each month for worthless treatments. No response. A manager from Stone Mountain finally called a couple of months ago - "Terrence' - but said he had to contact his manager - would call back in a day or 2 - no call back and they kept taking $202 for nothing. Never have heard from the guy in over 3 months now. I've been robbed for 7 months now and guess I'll just cancel my credit card and go to small claims count. These guys are villains. But beware - I went thru this same rip 2 years ago - most companies have been bought out by Rentokil - I paid them off for nothing when they bought my last worthless pest control service and threatened me with collection for non service. They are seemingly ruthless thugs - unreal but truly real taking your money for nothing. i read

This company is a scam! They charged me over 2K for exclusions services. They were supposed to close any entry points that mouses maybe coming through. However after 2 years we are still having the same issues. They sent techs that does not know what they are doing, they will enter your home with their dirty boots and they broke a vase on the way up. They do not care about the customers once they sign up for services. I had numerous no show appointments. We tried to speak with our local manager "Mike" but he refuses to call us or come over. I reported that we still have the same issues to their call center but nothing has been done. All of the sudden now, they cancelled our services without letting us know. SAVE your money and get someone that will get the job done!

Terrible company, do NOT do business with it. Overbill, do no service, do not resolve issues, anything it can do to not service your account and make things difficult for you, it will do it. Does not deserve even 1 star. Stay away from Terminix.

I called a scheduled an inspector to come to my home. I was told someone would arrive between 4 and 5:30. When no one had arrived or called by 5:45, I called Terminix. The person I talked to said they called the inspector and left him a voicemail. When I still hadn’t from him by 6:05, I called Terminix again and was told that I shouldn’t have been given that appt time, that they don’t really do that time slot. When I questioned her further, she said the inspector no longer worked in my area and I would have to reschedule. When I tried to reschedule she said no one worked in my area any longer. Why was I allowed to schedule in the first place if there isn’t anyone who can come to my area? I wasted a whole day waiting for this appt. This was my day off work and I could have taken care of it without missing any work had this been handled appropriately. Instead, I had to call another company and schedule an appt for the following day. This means that I also have to take a day off work. So Terminix is costing me money without providing any service

I called back in August to cancel my service. They pulled the bait stations from my yard 8/27/24. They have continued to bill me every month since then. I called in September and again this month and I get the same responses but have got no emails confirming cancellation. I’m also always promised a refund that has yet to materialize. I’m going to file a complaint with the better business bureau and see what my bank can do to stop them from continuing to charge me.

I just spent the entire morning waiting for them to show up to an appointment set up last night. I finally called them to be told they put an L in my phone number in place of a 1 so they never bothered to come. I even called when there was still time remaining and they had no idea what they were doing or why. Ask do I want to set up another appointment...hahaha...no. Appointment was 8:15-10, It's 11:15am now!

We called for a problem with mice they sent a salesman he quoted us just under a 1000.00 then tried selling us insulation??? The Tech came out met my husband and he said he was here to kill spiders no mention of mice Husband said no we have a mice problem Tech said oh? he placed four poison traps in attic and didn't seal up anything (salesman said he would do that) then the Tech tried selling us insulation??? Are they an insulation company or a pest control company very disappointed we cancelled Not a good company don't call them its at your own risk

My husband I have spent two months and countless hours calling and talking to numerous individuals with this company. We repeatedly have been scheduled and billed for services we didn't request. They illegally billed our account for approximately 500.00 17 days ago and we continue to be told by Mark (the local owner/manager) that he is "looking into it" and that a refund will be posted, only to call days later and be told the exact same thing. These people are 100% crooked! My advice - run and don't look back!

What a horrible experience. My parents are elderly they have fleas in the house. I called termini to see if they can come to the property and get the job done. First the sales rep said absolutely they can get us a appointment within a couple of days which was lie I found out later. The sales rep also said first payment would be 240 or 250 we were sent an email for $337.00 it gets worse. They didn't show up to parents house again they are elderly. Termini sent a email showing steps on how to prepare the house it took my parents 2 days to do this which wasted there time and energy. Now at this point I was pissed I told them they were elderly they showed they understand and would get someone out rite away. Nobody shows up so I called. This time the representative tries to tell me they never scheduled my appointment that they were just trying to fit me in however I have an email that clearly said appointment scheduled. So I told her I do not want your services please cancel it do not come to my parents house. They forward the call to retention now the lady I spoke to tried to sound all sad like they are losing me as a customer and I should feel bad for her. I don't know what she was on . I told her I do not care I want my services canceled nobody showed up we waited 2 days and my parents moved everything around preparing for the treatment. She said okay she will cancel the call. Next day I check my bank statement because I do not trust them and guess what they charged me $337.00 for services that did not happen. This is completely fraud. I called terminx and the lady on the phone says it's because our autopay was not canceled. This is ridiculous if you canceled my services why was autopay and most importantly why was my payment method not canceled as well ? These people will charge you and not show up and try to play victim. If you cancel services please check your statements. What horrible company what a disgrace I wonder how many times they got away with this.

Terminix is the worst pest control company ever. Do not trust the reviews that show Terminix 2, 3, 4, stars. This company charges you for services upfront, it you want an ongoing pest control provider. However, thereafter you are at the mercy of your local management office. There is no follow-up from corporate headquarters if you have an issue with the local servicer. I have had my garage door damaged, appointments changed without notification, different technicians have told me services I am not eligible for when my contract says different. In addition, the company has been sold moreover, thus the left hand does not know what right hand is doing. Terrible customer service and follow-up. Do not waste your money.

We were charged (Prepaid) *******$ on 09/17/24 for the rodent extermination service for 2 years. The first service was done on the next day 09/18/24 and upon inspection post first service we found that half of the exterior holes were left open. we were very disappointed with the service and requested to cancel the service right away and requested for a prorated refund. After reaching out to the customer service 4 times and sending detailed emails with evidence (pictures) that the service was incomplete, we have not received any response from the branch manager #**** and higher **** They cancelled our request for refund without any formal communication. We even requested to deduct the charges for the day of service performed by the technicians and refund us the remainder but they said ******* was the charge for a 30 minute service. All they did was fill out 4-5 inlet points on the exterior part of the house. We are highly dissatisfied not only with the service but also with their Branch Manager and ***************** we are being forced to take legal action against Terminix because they charged a ridiculous amount of money for the service they hardly performed. The fees that Terminix is retaining is illegitimate, unfair and on the contrary to public policy. Update 10/9: Not only they cancelled the agreement via email for the paid amount of 1444$ (included service plus 1 year maintainence) they never issued a refund not they even provided a reason to cancel the service. So now they basically charged us 1444$ for 30 minute service. Completely ridiculous, never use Terminix.

I had a contract with Terminix and they never seem to come when you wanted them to come, I have told them several times that I am not available on weekdays, and they would always say that came to my house and did not come or that, I cancel the service and was told that they would refund me for both of my last visit which should have been one for $74.00 and the other one for $104.00, I was only refunded $74.00 and was told that in their system it was to only refund me $74.00, I was not refunded for both service which was not rendered. DORTICUS BANGOURA Service technician claim that he come to service my house on 7/11/2024 for the terminates inspection that is a lie, because I don't weekday appointments. Also, the office manager at the LANDOVER 9475 Lottsford Rd Largo, MD 20774, 1 (800)837-6464 is very rude.

My experience with Terminix was horrible. I hired them to manage Ants and Spiders. They took my money for the first appointment. But after that they were MIA. I was with them for almost 30 Days and they missed 4 scheduled appointments. No shows. I was promised on the third call that they would absolutely show up for the fourth attempt. But again the Tech never showed up. So I canceled.

Met Jim Wednesday at my quadraplex (4 apartments building) and as we were walking near the building I was told he didn't need to go in the 4 apartments to give me a quote. Incredible, he said he could give me the quote without going into the building so I told him to call my wife and give her the quote. Unbelievable!! By the way, he has not called my wife as of 9/26/24 at 1:30 p.m.

First-time customer and I have had a totally disappointing experience with Terminix. I was price gauged to install a mesh fence around my porch/deck to keep skunks, rabbits and other wildlife from living under there. I asked them to put the mesh 12" in the ground around the entire perimeter. The Tech/Supervisor did not listen and installed it halfway around the sides and around the front of the porch/deck at different levels in the ground. He said the skunks will not dig around the area where the porch meets the ground. He also, did not even insert the mesh properly on one side only about 3" into the ground. Well guess, what? The skunks kept digging the hole and getting in/out on that side. I have called several times for them to come back out and correct it. They assigned a Tech but he never showed. I called again, they said, sorry you were assigned a Tech who no longer works here. We will assign you another Tech. That Tech did call and said he will come out at 8am on Tuesday. Well, it is Tuesday, and it is 9:55am and I have not heard from that Tech so, far...

If I could give negative stars I would. I have a bedbug problem I wanted resolved immediately. The sales guy was prompt and professional so I signed a contract. So far I've had to have 4 services scheduled and the light issue still is not resolved. The technician came out and was not professional but gave good pointers. He left within 15 minutes of me leaving so how thorough that service could be is obviously determined to be wanting since I've had to follow up 3 more times and counting. The customer service says they will call back but don't. I ask to speak to a manager and I'm told they will call within 24 hours and they don't. For some reason I'm getting the runaround for 4 weeks now when all I want is service scheduled. This company is beyond terrible and I would be ashamed if I worked there.

BS. We opened a contract with them. Sold our home and turned contract over to new owners ( that we had paid in full) . Now after sending us confirmation of our contract ending, they continue to try to bill us. Incompetence at its best. You can’t get anyone on phone to make anything right. I have never seen such unprofessionalism. Don’t use them! You will regret it.
