If I could give Terminix a negative 5 rating I would!!! Total scam company!! I had termite bait stations installed approx 2 years ago. The cost was around $1500.00 initially then I was charged over $100/month for 12 months. After 12 months at $100+ per month the cost went down to $37.00/month. When I signed the agreement the tech told me that the initial $1500 was the cost for the stations plus the bait. I've had 1 bait station inspection since the initial install which was a week ago. Only 1 station needed new bait because the existing bait was "damaged". No infestation has ever been detected. I just recently received notice that me service was due to renew with an increase in the monthly fee. I just recently became unemployment and need to cut corners so I called to cancel my service. I was told that Terminix will need to come pick up the bait stations because they are Terminx's property. I have paid Terminix around $3000 and for what?!?!. Utter and complete rip off!!!!

Today I have been charged a $1500 termination fee for a service that you all said I should have never been charged for!!!! This money was allocated in my bank account to pay for both my documented and disabled son’s Doctors appointment as well as my family members Oncology appointment!!!! You all are TRULY EVIL and DISGUSTING!!!! He NEEDS his medicines and now how in the world am I going to get these funds back!!!! We have the entire guarantee to cancel our service with no charge in writing, yet you all are You came to my house and performed a service, fraudulently without any signature while I wasn’t home!!! This is against your OWN service level agreement per the numerous calls and escalations made!!!! This company is beyond useless and empathetic. They lie about the time frame they will contact you!!!It took 2 months for a call back from Management!!!!! Even after I was told to expect a call in 24-48 hours!!!!!!! You all are thieves, liars, and scammers!!!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!! DO NOT USE this company!!!!

WHOM I T MAY CONCERN CHECK BBB site for thousands of Complaints against Terminix for the same reasons I am pleading for you to attend to our issues. Our problem is stated below:I do not want any financing for this type of work-I need it cancelled immediately. Terminix (employees)has/have looked us in the eyes and lied about the provision of services for pest control in our attic and vapor barrier in our crawl space. Supervisor duped us into believing that the problems are injurious to our health and property(lived here for 20 years without any health concerns ) -we signed the contract for quality service at a price only to have the biggest setback from unscrupulous people that have failed to execute the services and now wants us to pay for an incomplete job. We are now trapped-terminix is only concerned with collecting our monies-they want to keep you paying and paying. There is no recourse when you sign this contract-you receive no feedback on complaints -they say they have provided services-what quality services!Very poor services. Management is unconcerned ,non responsive -bolstered by a customer service support system that only keeps taking your complaints -telling you that they will escalate your concerns-this is a never ending saga to frustrate you-nothing is done. I am saddened ,but I am not paying for incomplete and substandard work -it has been more than one month that I waiting for a resolution to this matter.-left many messages for the Manager They have left us no evidence to support services provided -we need to know what we are paying for! The exclusion system is a sham -the one trap on the roof  fell off and is in the yard and 6 pieces of glue trap remain in my attic -no checks over the period to see what is happening -What a service -left many messages no response, just uncaring and untrustworthy-I need a resolution to this as I have seen many complaints with similar issues on BBB-Why should this be allowed to continue under the pretext of excellent service? This needs to be evaluated by management and those concerned should be held accountable  and  disciplined. For your help-thanks.  I want a resolution-I will not pay for poor services,incomplete work- do not send me invoices for payment until this matter is resolved-I do not want this financing for shoddy work and demands for payment because of the contract-this must be a reciprocal relationship. This is ongoing for more than one month.

I have worst experience with Terminix, I never recommend and use the services due to below reasons. 1. When the initial consultation was done, The employee who visited my home on 05/24 said $171.67 was for 3 months of pest service also said the next billing would be in August and shared my cc details for automatic bill payment, late in July I noticed in my credit card statement charges from Terminix which is around $45.34 before 3 months completion. Then I went back and checked June month statement. In June month also Terminix charged $45.34. I have called customer service to revert the changes, and the response I got is $171.67 is the initial charges to set up the account etc which we charge, I have given complete details about my initial discussion. customer service rep is not showing any interest, and the response is very bad. When I requested to cancel my subscription, she promised not going to charge anything in August and adjust overpaid charges in August. however, to my surprise I received an email in August for charging another $45.34, Then I have to cancel my services forcefully by shouting on cc. 2. Coming to the service as per the initial discussion they will give the additional pest service if I see more pests in the middle of the month, when I called for additional service after seeing more bees, the response I got is there are not available slots I need to wait until my schedule comes. When I said I am going to cancel my service Then CC said I will forward your request to the local office. you will get the call and schedule additional service. in reality, I did not receive any call from the local office and did not receive any further service. Overall, my experience with Terminix is very and I do not recommend it due to overbilling, no professionalism, and bad service.

Mosquito service does not work at all. Waste of money. The home pest control works for the most part. They have been missing appointments for regular servicing and inspections and you need to call them up to reschedule. Not sure why I can’t reschedule with the same person who texted to setup the appointment in the first places. Super annoying.

Terminix No Show Again . We have a contract with Terminix and once they took our money it has been impossible to get Terminix to keep an appointment. They don't show up. Then the call center just strings you along. Your money. This is a scam.

If I could give zero stars I would. They recommended a wire mesh along the perimeter of my home. What they ended up doing is digging out stones of my foundation leaving big channels and holes into the crawl space and then placing a mesh (with gaps) over that. So where previously I had the occasional mouse issue, now I have a major mouse issue, water getting into my crawl space never mind all of the insects etc than can get in. They made a minor issue a thousand times worse. I had to pay a stone mason to come out, rip off the mesh and patch up all the stones that were pulled off. Terrible, I should never have hired them. Ended up costing me so much money to repair what they did to the foundation of my house. Besides that they are messy, they will leave your home with dirty glove marks all over the walls and mud everywhere. They really don’t give a crap.

Stay away from this company. They WILL charge you even when they DO NOT actually do any service. It is part of their business model, just READ the other 1 star reviews 🤦🤦🤦🤡🤡🤡. They hope you don't notice. In 2021 they charged me despite never having provided the service. It took over a year to resolve! This time they charged me $168.37 on February 6, 2024 despite not having provided the service due to weather. We called them to ask why. They assured they would address the issue. It never happened. After months of back and forth. Hours on the phone talking, tons of ticket numbers, getting assurances, dozens of emails, they refuse to do anything. It gets better, I finally get an email from them the other day that states as " gesture of Goodwill" they will give me 10% off the next visit! Do you believe the arrogance and condescension? They spend thousands trying to get 1 net new client. They are willing to lose a current paying client because these geniuses refuse to correct the $169 scam they tried on me twice! Very frustrating dealing with these scammers. They really don't seem very bright. I have a life and family to take care of instead of dealing with these morons. Spare yourself the grief of having to deal with them. Their web site states the following 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 TERMINIX CANADA gets results. We 100% guarantee it. They respod to google revews and ask you to email them. Guess what? the email bounces!! These people are nasty

I called customer service to cancel my subscription because of the prices going up dramatically over the last 2 years and no notification prior. I was forwarded to the cancelation dept. and spoke to James. I explained the reason for the cancelation and he said what if I lowered the price, would you stay? I asked why is he allowed to haggle the price and why I wasn't notified about the increase. He said you've been a customer since 2002 and we can do that for long-time customers. He said snail mail and/or emails are sent about price increases, but I did not see any? He said well do you want the new price or to cancel, so I just canceled because it sounded like he had no time to offer an apology for the lack of communication. Sad for someone who has been a customer for over 20 years. In one year, mosquito service has gone up $15 a month ($96) and pest control up around $48 every 3 months ($207)

very lazy people work here. They take your big bucks and forget you. they come spend 2 minutes and go. if you recall them, they special charge you. one of the terrible company there is! I am a current customer. will not renew.

BEWARE!!! Terminix is a horrible company with terrible customer service. They did a job for my church and left tape that is not easily accessible because of the height they ruined the paint in some areas. We have been trying to get it resolved for months and have been ignored. We have sent emails and text messages and have called with no answer. Brian Osorio, a tech that works for Terminix in the broward area, is a liar and is very unprofessional. He was called, and he stated that he would call back in 20 min. He never called, so I called him back he forwarded me to voice mail. I called customer service, and supposedly they sent the complaint to the manager of the local branch who was supposed to call me. Twelve hours later, I am still waiting on a call. Don't waste your time or money on this company.

I was with Terminix for almost 12 years. Great bug service! No issue what soever. Horrible rodent service. After paying them 2k to fix all the issue with rodent entry into my house, I still had gaps. They would set appointments with us and not show up. Absolutely unacceptable. I'm out 2k and still have rodents throwing parties in my attic. I'm now with Truly Nolen. We'll see how they do.

Cameron Chitty was very helpful with addressing my concerns in ref to a small bug. Cameron took the time to google a picture, explained what and where the problem maybe and did a treatment to take care of the issue. Cameron has been servicing my home for several months and has always been kind, courteous, and very helpful.

may 21 2024 i had peoria il terminix come out to check our attic. we had a bat. they came out and cleaned and removed all insulation and put back in new insulation the guy who did this was very nice. he also sealed up opening he thought they accesed the attic to.. i paid johnny in full $11.500. i have gotten past due calls that i had to end up blocking and past due notices in the mail i call peoria office on the first one they said u r paid in full . but the notices keep coming i called manager ZACK AND johnny OVER AND OVER LEAVING MY NAME AND NUMBER NEVER ONCE DID THEY RETURN MY CALLS. i would call the peoria il office and would get a girl in flordia or nevada or wherever and they would say someone will call you back and they never did. i even sent in copys of my payments still geting past due notices. and i had my son check out attic july 4 only to find bat droppings. i finnaly got the guy who did the attic and he said i had a bat and once againg cleaned up my attic but i paid 11,500 beacuse my insulation had bat dropping on it. and now you can not tel me bat are so smart they would only drop on the wood floor area and not the new insulation. i am right back where i started. finally the end of july the said my bill was paid infull. finnaly someone with half a brain figured out how to cash a cashier check , it only took them a little over 2 months. i would not recomment peoria terminix to anyone in this area . communitation with them is awful they obviouy only care about getting the job they should first clean the attic the wait a few week to see if any bat returns and they if not new dropiing then put in insulation . i am furious with the m at this point. The automatic message is just from a co that don't care.i would expect branch manager to step it up...

This company schedules appts., then changes appts unbeknownst to the customer. No communication when this happens and with literally hours preparing for them to show and then no shows w/o any communication 2 days in a row. Several calls both days to verify and told they would be here and no follow thru. I have never written a bad review before. Twenty years ago they were a professional good company. Now, I can not recommend.

am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received from Terminix on July 27. I had scheduled an appointment for that day, with a window between 8:00 and 10:00 AM. I made arrangements to be at home during this time to ensure that I did not miss the appointment. Unfortunately, nobody from Terminix showed up within the specified time frame. At 11:00 AM, I called the company to inquire about the status of my appointment. The representative I spoke with was unable to provide any information about when, or if, someone would be able to come to my home that day. At 11:15 AM, I received a call from Joe Dula. During our conversation, he exhibited a poor attitude and was extremely unprofessional. When I asked him why he did not show up during the scheduled time, he hung up on me then called back with further attitude and questioned whether I still wanted him to come and inspect my house. His tone and demeanor were entirely inappropriate, and he was unapologetic for the inconvenience caused. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and courtesy shown by your staff. The experience has left me with a very negative impression of Terminix, and I do not intend to use your services in the future. I also feel compelled to share this experience with others, as it reflects poorly on this company's commitment to customer service

Do not hire them for anything!!! I paid a LOT of money because I had mice in my basement. After my first follow up appointment they basically said there was no way to seal the entire house completely and mice would probably get back in. I paid for 5 years of service. 4 years in and I have a major infestation. I called to schedule an appointment and was told someone would contact me. No one did so I reached out and was told a specific date and time. I took off work so I could be home. No one showed and when I called the generic number they said my appointment was scheduled for another 10 days out. They cancelled my appointment the day before without informing me. I wasted a vacation day and now it’s supposed to be another 10 days of having mice run around my basement. Requested a call from management but of course they don’t care. This company is nothing but a scam. Hire local businesses- they will care more about you than some corporation that can’t even be bothered to communicate with their customers.

I wish I had read reviews before doing business with terminix. On the initial visit in April we talked about many different options and decided on pest and termite control with a monthly charge of $123.56 for 18 months. I told the rep. I wanted a bill in writing saying exactly what we had talked about and how much I owed. I wanted to pay the total amount as they said after 90 days I would have to pay finance charges. After making 2 payments I get a bill from SMAC, a finance company they do business with, for over $5163.00. I made numerous calls to terminix people, and even drove over an hour to the nearest terminix office to discuss the problem. Each time got the same response, "We understand the problem and we'll take care of it. You'll hear from us in 2 to 3 days". No call was ever received and the problem was apparently swept under a rug with the belief I'd just roll over and let it go. I did at least find out that this fraudulent charge was for an attic insulation they do but this service was only talked about by us and I said no to. These people are obviously trained to say this but unfortunately not trained to actually care about the customer and address the concern. It's now the end of July and I'm sick of their lies and runarounds. I've told them to remove the in ground termite stations and to cease going to my house to do the quarterly bug spraying. I told them I'll make no more payments and will ensure they can't access my money. I've closed out my bank savings account so the finance company cannot get any more undeserved money. I've also shut down the credit card which terminix was taking $123.56 each month from. I'm not a crook so wouldn't take service without paying and this I told their rep. I informed them that I'm a snowbird and currently up north but that I will be in my Florida home on 1 October at which time they can come and present a written itemized copy of what I owe and I will gladly pay in cash. Never give bank or credit card information to this company.
