RUN AWAY THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! I have been a customer for over 20 years. I have had the same technician whom I trust. They then tried to send another technician to me and I refused and insisted on having Harold Crawford continue with my property. They said okay and then had another technician say they would be servicing my property. The BIGGEST INSULT was getting a call from them saying that Harold was not going to do my property because he had been assigned another territory, DESPITE my property being on HIS WAY to the new territory and my requesting a first-in-the-morning appointment. I then told them to cancel my account, and without hesitation or remorse, they said "OK" and HUNG UP ON ME! If they will do this to a customer of over 20 years, imagine what they will do to you! RUN RUN RUN!!!!!

They will not let me cancel my services. I've tried calling corporate, they even transferred me to the local regional manager and I have not gotten any calls back. They said they scheduled a time for their people to come pick up the equipment but they never showed up at said day/time. We have cameras so I would know if anyone was around, and we have equipment in the backyard which is locked so they'd have to ring the bell to get those ones. I keep getting multiple texts, emails, and even calls from them about the payment not going through. It's because my mom told her bank to block them from charging her. Crazy that it's this difficult to cancel a service.

Terminix charged $1800 for bedbug and house interior/exterior pest control. Instructing that were given were not followed. They don't call to schedule a time to do the work. They schedule them notify you a day before by email. Even more infuriating is that they don't tell you that the service will auto-renew each year if you don't call to cancel. I will NEVER use them again.

We contacted Terminix to help us with a Yellowjacket nest in the attic/roof. An inspector came out to the house and informed us that Terminix would be able to send someone to treat the nest and remove it. Because of the damage to the ceiling caused by the Yellowjackets (they chewed through the drywall and would be able to enter the house if they chewed any further through a thin layer of paint), the inspector told us they would make us a priority on their service schedule. We were not made a priority and when the technicians finally arrived at our home, they were unaware that they would be treating a Yellowjacket nest. We expressed our frustration, a manager was contacted, and the technicians made an attempt to treat the Yellowjacket nest without being prepared to treat it properly. They had no suits, no ladder to enter the ceiling area so they stood on our furniture. They did not clean up after themselves and left dirty handprints all over the wall. We were informed that some sort of powder was sprayed into the attic which they failed to clean off of the dresser and the carpet after spraying. The technician told us it may take a couple of days before the Yellowjackets die and the nest can be removed then, yet two days later the Yellowjackets were still alive and well, swarming the rooftop area. We were given misinformation by the inspector, the technicians, and the manager we contacted on several occasions is trying to negotiate to provide better service rather than just issuing a refund. Meanwhile, the Yellowjackets were still invading our home. We chose to hire a company that is knowledgeable and prepared to treat Yellowjacket nests and we had a great experience. We would not hire Terminix again, especially for the treatment of Yellowjackets. They are not qualified.

Terminix is a scam! They take money from you every month and when you schedule a follow up they cancel your appointment without you knowing it. I have cameras in front of my house and in the back of the house. I’ve never saw anyone come spray my house at all! I purposely scheduled the appointments on my own so that I can be present when they so call come to the house. But like I said they cancel my appointments and tell me I never was scheduled. When I in fact I have the screen shots to prove it. This company needs to be shut down!

The employee in Ashtabula, Oh was abusive, disrespectful of boundaries, disrespectful of property, and sprayed areas and items without authorization. The spray was ineffective and induced headaches even after the recommended wait period. He went so far as to argue about the boundaries set. DO NOT USE!

A guy named Andy Wagenkneckt came out from terminex to give me a quote on getting rid of bed bugs.. after looking around for 3 min he told me I had bed bugs. I asked him how much, he said $1300 for chemical treatment.. I told him that we really couldn’t afford to pay that much because I’m on a fixed income.. so I literally asked him one question about how to do it ourselves.. he looked straight at me and said I’m not being rude but I’m not going to tell you how to do it yourself. I was shocked because that was rude. So I said you’re not going to answer one question that I have for somebody that cannot afford to pay that much to get rid of these horrible creatures. And he said no I’m not. I couldn’t believe how selfish and inconsiderate, he was. It’s not like I was asking for a step-by-step instruction on how to do it myself. I wouldn’t use Terminex now even if I did come up with the money. Horrible horrible customer service.

They came and put bait stations in and charged me over $400. They didn't tell me about the $129 a month maintenance fee. I paid them for 12 months and finally cancelled service because I didn't have any termites anymore. Now they continue to bill my credit card after I called them twice and told them I didn't want the service any more and my contract is expired. They said they would issue a credit to my card but haven't as of yet. I'll have to dispute the charges and Amex will reverse it now. Lousy Company to deal with. Called twice and told it was cancelled and it's not. Probably going to have to sue Terminex for billing me when I don't have a Contract with them anymore. Do yourself a favor. Don't use them. I will never use them again. Deceptive practices and lousy customer support that lies to you over the phone ...

Terminix has a bed bug service that is grossly ineffective, but promises the world, as told to us by Eli Neish, salesman for Terminix. After spending a week fogging, spraying and spreading Borax throughout the house, we felt we needed a pro to get things under control. Eli promised us fogging, steam, spray, bagging our clothes, spraying underneath furniture, and a mattress cover for the bed. They treated the bed, and put it in a cover. Maybe they sprayed the baseboards. NOTHING ELSE WAS DONE. We left them at 10:30...we drove by at 11:00, truck was gone! We know they didn't do much because placement of pillows and clothes was exactly how we left them. There was also a light film of Borax throughout, which didn't show any spray indications or hand prints. Given the research we did on the issue, and how hard it is to get rid of them, this service was ineffective, even if done correctly. TERMINIX OFFERED US ONLY $700 BACK, WHICH WAS ABOUT HALF OF WHAT WE PAID. Their service rep., Kenley Joseph was condescending and unprofessional, and denied most of our issues. The Branch manager, Tim Love, just passed the buck. We are still working with our bank for a refund, and will take legal action if necessary. If you have a bed bug problem, do your research and SKIP TERMINIX!

Had a Saturday morning appt for 8/5/23 for someone from the #LakeCharles #Louisiana location to come between 8-12 for a free inspection. Received confirmation text the day before and I confirmed and received a response from them confirming appt and when I set the appt, the lady assured me that they work on saturdays and it would be no problem. Woke up early on my only day off to do this and they never showed up. At 12:30, I called the 800#. Lady was very very polite and apologized and said she'd get in touch with Lake Charles office and have them call me. No one ever did. On 08/08/23, decided to give them 1 more try and set up another appt with the same office to come out on 08/10/23. Received confirmation text. This time my spouse was up early and waited all day for them. NO SHOW AGAIN. We called 800# and again, very nice lady said she'd contact our local #LAKECHARLESLOUISIANATERMINIX office and have someone call us and let us known when they were on their way. AGAIN, no phone call and no one showed up. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and will never do business with a company that can't even show up or call for an appt. #TERMINIX please address this, reading the comments, I see this happens quite often. Complete waste of our time and we went elsewhere for treatment. I don't know how this company stays in business. She said it would be someone from Lake Charles or #LAFAYETTE office but most likely Lake Charles #Louisiana

NEVER hire Terminex. I hired them to rid my house of rodents. They came once and then wanted a quarterly contract. My tenant said there were still rodents. I called and called and finally after 6 weeks they came. My tenant had to move out. Now terminex is hounding me for $81.25 for quarterly service. They never finished the original job I paid in advance. They said pay the $81 or were sending you to collection. They don't care about what you hire them for only to TAKE your money.

TERMINIX is the worst company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT HIRE THEM! They have a money-back guarantee if you cancel within 30 days, listed on their website. I hired them for ants, but canceled within 30 days for poor service. I keep receiving bills charging me $220.00 and saying I had an "extra service" which I never had an extra service. This is why I was told the manager denied my refund. I have called over 11 times, since March 2023. I keep getting told the manager will call, he never has. Then I was told the manager left a vm, ?? where is the number he left for me to call him back? I never received a vm from the manager. Everyone I talk to has no authority to do anything and keeps saying the manager will call you back. Absolutely the Worst company I have ever dealt with. I hired ORKIN and my issue with the ants was resolved within one week.

I hope you never entrust your work to a company that deceives customers and provides poor service. They are dishonest and they are the worst companies that do not do their job properly.

The only star is for the first technician who at least tried to do the job I hired them for. $265 completely wasted. Worst customer service ever, no follow up and never came back to finish what I paid them for. Had to have another company get rid of the yellow jackets. Do NOT bother.

We sold our house and I needed to cancel our contract! It took me 4 weeks, 12 phone calls and 1 email to FINALLY get it done! Every phone # that I called even the Alberta ones on the Canadian website got me to customer representatives in the USA! They couldn’t even look up my account so they would transfer me to the next person and they would try. Finally after threatening legal action someone called and told me to send an email to clientcare. So if you currently have a contract I would cancel it immediately and do not bother phoning them as they take all your information and say someone will call you back but no one ever does!! Worst Customer Service I have ever had to deal with!

i had a great experience with this company. terminex took care of my ant problem in my restaurant. Gerardo was very concerned with my request to combat the issue. i am happy to say all activity has ceased and we are ant free!! thankyou Lugo Gerardo 😁

Horrible customer service and work !!! From sales rep (James) to the actual workers (Antonio). I hired them for rodent exclusion service , but they did not complete their work and gave me an excuse that a separate contractor would come to finish covering the roof vents and other roof work, which was part of the contract. It has been almost 4 weeks and several calls later, they just have excuses which they tell you on your face with no shame. I won't recommend their services to anyone !

We recently hired Terminix in Kelowna to spray a wasp nest near our back door. The wasps were just as bad a few days later. They say they are guaranteed but when we called the dispatcher no one came back or even returned our call dispite all the false promises. Very disappointed, we then tried a local based company and received much better service and communication.

Terminix is a horrible company - AVOID them at all costs! First, their services themselves are a bait and switch. I was told I would be getting an acre of coverage for my wooded property, but when the technician arrived he refused to do the long drive that I specifically confirmed would be covered when I signed up with them. He told me he didn't have enough poison. He spent 10 minutes max barely walking around the perimeter of my house, then left. He didn't cover even remotely close to an acre, or the areas I asked him to spray. So I canceled over the phone, and via text. Then I had a person show up for a tick service, who I specifically told not to come days before. I relayed to him via text that I had canceled the service. Instead of responding, he showed up at my house, rang the bell, and billed me for an hour of service he never performed. I caught him on multiple cameras around the property and he did not spray the grassy areas of the house, and was only there for 5 minutes. So I called and they promised to refund the money and cancel the service, seeing as I texted him and caught him on camera. Perfect. Except, two weeks later I noticed the charge was still there and so I called back, and they told me it was denied because they are going by his false service ticket and there was nothing I could do - despite the cameras and texts. They had already promised me a refund, and went back on their word, again. I have canceled over the phone with them verbally and via text, and they continue to send people to my house and attempt to charge my card. The last time I spoke to them they told me the only way to fully cancel was to call "retention" and wait on hold for an hour, because they are overloaded, and ONLY then will I be able to cancel my account. I do not have the time for this - I have told them to cancel over and over, via both phone and text. If they show up again I consider it trespassing.
