Mar 29,2022Disappointed that, although there are prominent seams on the inner, there are no hanging loops for lights/drying line. The toggles and corresponding fabric loops on the widest part of the inner are fiddly and insecure - would be better with plastic rings in the loops. Otherwise good quality tent

Mar 29,2022Bought a Pioneer 2 tent. Tent was sent quickly and very well packaged with a nice 'thany you' note and a couple of free carabiners (nice touch). Excellent company and top quality products. Highly recommended.

Mar 29,2022My blue tent pole snapped when erecting my tent so I bought a replacement. I was then informed that Terra Nova would replace my tent poles free of charge within 2 years. The poles have since been upgraded to the new superflex pole so the new blue superflex pole I received was a slightly different diameter and darker colour to the old one. I spoke to Terra Nova and they have sent me the new superflex red pole so I have a matching set. They also kindly sent me the Pioneer 2 footprint free of charge as I already paid for the blue pole. Great customer service. Thank you Sam and Abi.

Mar 09,2022A special thanks to the customer care services at terra nova tents . I had an eyelet pulled out of my tent due to high winds and probably bad pitching on my behalf as not to keep checking the tent steaks and guy lines in abnormal conditions. From actually calling Terra Nova about my problem they dealt with the issue and got it repaired and back to me within 48 hours.And in my eyes!! that’s going that extra mile for making a customer very happy . A special thanks to Daniel who went far out his way to see this through. Thank you to everyone involved.

Feb 08,2022Terrible customer service. I bought a 600€ tent about a year ago. It has multiple short comings, loose seams, falling off eye loops etc, then a bit if the titanium pole split while taking it down, and ripped the flysheet, not what you’d expect for a item that highly priced, i’d almost call it a luxury tent. The customer support is not giving any helpful assistance. Now i’ll have to send it in as registered package at my expense, possibly having to cover the repairs as warranty is literally to their discretion, depending on how used the tent is etc. don’t invest your money here, buy MSR instead. Best customer support i’ve ever had is from Thermarest.

Dec 09,2021I bought the pioneer 2 tent and footprint in October. Its exactly what I was looking for. The tent is extremely well made, lightweight and has been on a dozen or so nights through the winter so far. It hasn't disappointed. You don't get great pegs or enough of them but that's all I can complain about and is the norm with all brands for some reason 💁♂️. The service was excellent as was communication. I didn't realise they make the footprint to order when buying it online. They still sent the tent super quick and footprint separately shortly after and didn't charge extra postage. Great service 👍. Thanks

Nov 15,2021Pioneer 2 Bombproof tent in terms of wind although I did a summit camp in the cairngorms this past weekend and had some leaking due to the vents at the top as the cloud was misting rain under the detachable roof vent. Will need to investigate further to be sure this won’t be an issue.

Paid a heavily reduced price due to it being 'Grade B' but on inspection I couldn't find any evidence of it being used other than some mud on a few of the tent pegs. The tent itself was immaculate. Have now spent several nights 'garden camping' with my two 9yr old boys and the 3 of us fit easily inside. The tent is very spacious and although three large adults might be a bit of a squeeze it wouldn't be uncomfortable. I'll also add that we had one night of heavy rain and although we didn't sleep all that well, we were bone dry inside. Finally, delivery was really quick. All in all I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Oct 27,2021Pioneer 2 tent. My biggest investment to date on outdoor kit, so i wanted to make sure i spent my money well. Im pleased to say the Pioneer 2 is an absolutely bombproof piece of kit from the leading tent supplier in my eyes. I really am impressed. Easy to order, well communicated dleivery! Oh yes and if my mrs asks, it was 50% off in the sale! Thank you Terra Nova!

Apr 04,2022The first Pioneer 2 that Terra Nova sent me was faulty. Not what I expected when paying £400 for a new tent. It was replaced quickly but I found Terra Nova to be unapologetic and very "matter of fact".
