Avoid scammers! Took my money on March 5, said they would deliver March 17. Sent emails every week after that saying they have delays. Phones go to auto message saying they are closed, whatever time or day one calls. I am now trying to get my money back.
Stay well away from this company. Delivery slots constantly missed and unable to get through on the number supplied by the company.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! I have advised that in all cases report your specific issue to Trading Standards who will form a dossier on this supplier with a view to taking further legal action. You can charge back your payment if paid by debit or credit card. Please do the above if not satisfied as the Gas Superstore simply take your order and money and that's the last you hear from them. The delivery dates are not met and not re-scheduled. Their phones state out of office hours even when in middle of day so you cannot progress your order. Do not let them have your my hard earned cash.
Ordered a washing machine which was to be delivered 7th April. Informed on 6th April it wouldn't come until May. Told refund would come into account 3-5 days after cancelling order on 6/4. After numerous phone calls and ignored e-mails I'm still waiting for refund 18 days later.
Do not buy from this company. I have had my delivery cancelled twice at short notice. Reason given is the appliance is not in stock. I rang manufacturer direct who informed me they have no outstanding orders and the appliance is in stock for immediate delivery. Tried calling TGS 5 times now, left on hold for over50 minutes each time, one called answered and promised a call back over a week ago. I'm still waiting!😡
Delivered on time. The driver was extremely helpful and cheerful despite having to wheel the appliance to the house because the road was closed. The appliance was reasonably priced and we're very happy with the service we received.
WISH I NEVER PLACED AN ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY. Brought a washing machine on 23rd march for it to be delivered 28th march. Received an email saying it was delayed and won't be delivered until 7th April. Received yet about email from the company on 6th April and again it's been delayed until the 14th. By this point I had enough. I had no intentions of cancelling but the way I was dealt with over the phone was absolutely disgraceful. After failed attempts of trying to speak to a manager I cancelled. This was on 6th. I then called the company again on 7th as I wanted to give the manager some feedback and to my horror I was told the order wasn't cancelled. The manager then cancelled it and I asked for email confirmation of this which I received. I was advised this would take up to 3-5 days. No apology. It's 18th April today and I'm still waiting on my refund. When I chased this today I was advised that the 'accounts department' hasn't processed this. I have now received an email to say the refund has been process but I will have to wait another 3-5 days for it to appear in my account! I cannot believe how this company operates. They have left me without a washing machine for nearly a month, no money to buy another until/ if get my refund back and extra expense by having to go laundrette. What a joke! Surely been a family run business you would want to make sure your customers receive the best possible service. Manager (Amy) convienently goes into hiding when you call the company. What sort of manager does that??? Ur customers is what makes your business work soon you realise that the better. I would like to make an official complaint but manager takes no ownership after numerous phone calls and emails.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I got a last minute email saying that my product was no longer in stock and promising I could have an immediate refund. 18 days later, still no refund despite several calls and emails. When I call I get stuck on hold for ages, then there's never a manager or member of accounts available. They do not call back or answer emails, despite assurances. I've now resorted to trying to get my money back through my bank's chargeback scheme. I will also be sending details to Leicester Trading Standards.
I ordered a Samsung tumble dryer in December. In the beginning they called me to say they were waiting on the manufacturer. That was irritating because they did not indicate it was not in stock when ordering. However it got much worse. The delivery date passed and no delivery. I called they said they were still waiting and didn't apologize for not calling. This repeated itself for about 4 months. I held on because I didn't want to start the whole process again but I eventually just cancelled. That was 8 working days ago. At the time they said it would take 5 working days to process the cancellation. Well its 8 days now and now refund. I just contacted them again and was told they forgot to send it to accounts and will process it today. If I don't get my refund today then I'm going to have to consider legal action. They also do not provide any email contacts on their website so you have no written record of correspondence. Luckily I got emails during the pre-order process, however these are from individual addresses and the people on the receiving end just ignore my emails. My advice is to steer well clear of this company.
Ordered a range master hood at a very good price but was disappointed when first delivery date cancelled day before. I was a bit concerned given some of the reviews I read but item came at next date. They had the order for a month already and I needed this item for a new kitchen. So overall not too bad but not sure I would order a high value item or something I needed in good time given delivery issues.
Appalling service - fire ordered on the 6th February 2017 not in stock sales person informed me that the fire would be in stock within 3 weeks. 9 weeks later and still no fire with multiple calls going to both sales and customer services but only to say that the manufacturer had not replenished their stock. Spoke to local fireplace shop last week and they told me that the fire would be delivered in 3 days and this is from the same manufacturer and warehouse. The last call to customer services was fobbed off with ' will have to speak to accounts to find out'. Asked to be escalated however nothing has happened no apology no refund no goodwill just a 'It is the manufacturer' not the worst but one of the worst online shopping experiences in the last 5 years
I ordered a cooker on Thursday 6th April with delivery on Wednesday 12th April. I booked a day annual leave for delivery and arranged for my old cooker to be removed the day before. I did not receive the text with the timeslot so I called the company on Wednesday morning only to be told it was out of stock for at least 2 weeks. No attempt was made to inform me of this and I have now wasted a days annual leave. I have also been told it will be 7-10 working days for a refund due to the bank holiday. However, after reading other reviews I am highly concerned that it will be even longer for a refund. I am now in a situation where I have no cooker, no money for another one until my refund has come through and no trust in the company to assist me with this. The product also still shows on the website as available for delivery on Tuesday 18th April despite being told it wont be in for at least two weeks. It is now going to cost me an absolute fortune feeding my family whilst I wait for this to be resolved! The call centre staff were not apologetic just kept saying "unfortunately". My recommendation would be NOT TO USE!
ordered oven which was to be delivered 21st March, got email previous day saying out of stock and delivery would be on the 28th March. Phoned up that day to find time of delivery and was told they had tried to contact me the previous day to say it was still not in stock . Informed them this was incorrect as I had no call or email. Was then hit with the " it will be another 28 days". I said this was not good enough and asked for a refund, told this was fine and to expect money in my account in 2-3 days. 4 days passed, no refund, waited for an age for call to be answered and was kept on hold while account dept. were spoken to, was then told refund had now been done. 3 days later no refund, same carry on again with call, was told refund had been done. I then called again with same outcome. I then found reviews where nearly everyone has the same problem, I called again and was told accounts were at lunch, I explained about the reviews and said I did not believe a word, also explained I had been onto the fraud dept. at my bank and they had told me to give them until today Wednesday 12th April to give me the refund before they took action, I was also covered by using my c/card. I also informed them I would be contacting Trading standards. I gave them 2 hours to ring me back and asked for an email confirming refund had been made. No call so I rang and did speak to same person, after being put on hold for a while he told refund had been made and I would get an email shortly. I thanked him very much and said I hoped I never had to speak to him again, but was not holding breathe. To my amazement the refund came today. Looks like the bank fraud team was the way to go.
Avoid this company take your money and goods never arrive. Been waiting 3 weeks for a BBQ and they are still emailing me saying prouduct has not arrived from the manufacturer but on there web site it states it is in stock when I ordered and even now 3 weeks later. Can not contact them by phone never answer. They take your money quick enough. Do yourself a faver and stay well away.
Never In my my life have I encountered such incompetence or lies. Stay away from this company. Ordered a cooker hood and integrated dishwasher and on the back of the scheduled delivery I booked my electrician . We were not living in the property during a refurb as I'm 8 months pregnant so this experience has simply created unnecessary stress. Received an e mail the night before scheduled delivery that it was going to be another week ! Very blasé and no other suggestions , several frantic e-mails and no reply so I ordered elsewhere and rang to cancel the order! 8 days later and still no refund , several e-mails sent and no replies, spoke to two separate people both said they were 'chasing it up' . Why is it so difficult when it was so quick to debit my account . After being on hold 20 minutes I now have to wait for someone to contact me back tomorrow ! I'm livid 😡 If this money is not refunded this week , I will take it further .
I ordered an outback BBQ for Saturday delivery, received confirmation email and off the back of that we ordered a cover through a different website (made to measure for the BBQ). Today I found an email in my spam folder advising the BBQ was out of stock and they could offer us a different BBQ for £50 more or a refund. I called them and had an unacceptable wait for my call to be answered (20 plus mins) and advised I needed one the same size, what could they discount me for the same model as I ordered in blue? bearing in mind they had offered a £65 discount on the option they offered in the email, they wouldn't match the discount on the same model I had ordered in a different colour!!! I have now asked for a refund, whether I get it without having to go to my card supplier I wait to see!
Ordered washing machine in febuary..paid for and promised delivery in a weeks time...as to date no washing machine and no money returned.. u can trust us...no u cant unexceptable customer services more like no service..this company will rip u off. Do not use. I have involved my solicitor and contacted trading standards....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
On Saturday 4th march I was on a frantic search for a fridge freezer as ours had just broken. I spoke to lots on companies that said they would be able to get the fridge to us within 4-week's, I didnt want to wait 4 weeks. But then I found the Gas Superstore who said "we can deliver your fridge within 10 days" Fantastic I thought, so I paid £329 for a Hoover fridge freezer. After 10 days, no contact was made from the company, so I phoned then and they said "it will be delivered on saturday 18th March" then on Thursday 16th I got an email saying "sorry we cant deliver you fridge as its not arrived in our store yet, but we should be able to deliver it on Saturday on 25th". On the 23rd I decided to double check that all was ok for the fridge to finally be delivered on Saturday (I was cut off 3 times and was placed on hold for over 25 minutes) I was then finally told the product won't be delivered, as it will be another 4 WEEK'S 😡 The girl on the other end of the phone then found me another fridge for an extra £90 (which they wouldn't order till I paid. On top of the other £329) I refused to pay anymore money untill I knew the fridge was ready to be delivered to us. Day later Louise phoned me back to say"sorry I got the order wrong, that product is no longer available" 😡. I asked to speak to the manager( which seemed like hard work) I requested that the money must be refunded ASAP, which Nick was unable to do, as the guy who deals with money wasn't in. Finally Nick phoned on Tuesday to say he personally did the refunded (strange, thought he couldn't do refunds) Useless company, extremely disappointed. John Lewis are now delivering our fridge.
JP. HAGNERE, Please people stay away from these people, they are not honest. I ordered a washing machine on the 06/03/2017 they debited my account straight away for the sum of £440.78. So far I had emails from them telling me that due to problems with the supplier my item was delayed from delivery and that 4time in a month so I cancelled the order and demande a refund, no cancellation email from them and so far no refund. You can't get in touch with them by phone or emails as they don't reply to none. PLEASE AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Or read the review you'll be shocked. At the moment I am waiting for a call from the bank fraud dept investigating team.

Don't use this company, they take your money and you never see your order, they keep giving you new delivery dates when you phone the sales department, but the customer service department never answers the phone. 3 failed delivery dates, no bosch dishwasher!
