I ordered a fridge freezer 8 weeks ago, arranged for the said item to be delivered 2 weeks ago when new kitchen was fitted date was arranged and I took day off work. at approximately 3.45 the night before delivery my husband received a 3 line email stating said item was out of stock and discontinued even though they had taken payment for it 6weeks earlier. I telephoned and it was confirmed that the item was discontinued and they would look for an alternative, next morning I had to ring again as there was no telephone call from them they stated they didn't have an alternative and I asked for a full refund which was 2 weeks ago and still nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did my research, Gas Superstore had the best price so placed an order. Was given complementary 2 man delivery saving £30. Also told they had a slot next day. Great communication from the delivery team as they arrived whilst on the school run. Was able to involve a neighbour who gave them access to the house. Returned from the school-run and everything sorted. Cannot relate to the negative comments that have been left as that was honestly not my experience ..... I have no reason not to recommend.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ON LINE SERVICE the GAS Superstore takes your money sends you the incorrect washing machine and delights in ringing you up to let you know the machine you have been sent is £150.oo cheaper than the one you ordered and there's nothing you can do about it, fortunately I had paid through Paypal but even then it took 5 weeks to get my money back so unprofessional this company is run by 2 brothers who were ripped off by a member of staff and it seems like in order to get their money back they think it is okay to rip off on line customers PLEASE AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
I had a problem with the hob I ordered not being available but it was sorted out over the telephone and the delivery received as advised The driver was very pleasant too

I have rated The Gas Superstore as vey unsatisfactory taken money and supplied no product or offered suitable alternative. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. Have been left with no washing machine and have not had the money refunded so I can go and get one. Have a severely disabled son who places a huge daily demand on our laundry and this has just made everything extremely difficult and stressful, still have not been given a refund 18 days after paying in full and a week since last promised delivery date. Have now made 7 phone calls and 7 emails to which still have no product or REFUND AS REQUESTED once told product discontinued. I ordered a £2,000 TV from their website on a Saturday and confirmed a delivery date of the next Tuesday. I was then sent an email on the Monday to say that it wouldn't arrive until the next Saturday. Called them to confirm that this would definitely be the case and was told they would check and let me know if it would be. It is now Friday and I have just received another email to say that it won't be here until the following Saturday! I have also been on hold for 20mins to cancel the order! I will not be ordering from them again and suggest you don't either!
The cooker hood was the cheapest on the net and it came within the allocated time.The product is still in the box so I can't comment on the quality of it.
Order placed 20th Feb with delivery arranged for 24th. Email received 23rd not in stock. Heard nothing and after several phone calls cancelled the order on 8th March. Several phone calls later and no refund received by the 16th, I had to threaten with further action and believe it or not it was in the Paypal account within 20 mins. This could have been done immediately and got a totally different review. I will NEVER use this company again.
I ordered a BBQ on Friday at around 10:30. It was showing in stock and ready for next day delivery. The fact that that The Gas Superstore is a family run business appealed to me as well as the competitive price. Next day, no BBQ. No message or phone call to let me know what was going on. OK I think, maybe I misunderstood that they would deliver on a weekend – it might come tomorrow, but definitely on Monday. On Sunday I tried calling the Customer Service, but gave up after 5 mins. I also sent them an email which seems to have vanished into a black-hole - still no response to that even today. On Monday, still no BBQ or message/call. Tuesday, I call Customer Services and finally get through. As far as the guy on the call is aware, the order has been completed and delivered so he has to investigate further. I missed his call later but turns out that the BBQ was never in stock. How any retailer can consider an order complete and not have any idea that they have no stock, didn’t ship it or receive a signature of delivery is beyond me. Have now cancelled order - even then I couldn't get through, but to be fair they called me back later in the day. Very disappointing to get this level of service from a family run company. Needless to say I’ll not be using them again.
I rang the sales adviser Paul a few times with various queries. He was always friendly, helpful and polite.
My wife and I ordered a washing machine from the gass supperstore and were given a delivery date which they failed to achieved. They did not bother to ring us just sent an email after the time they except phone to say "your item has not arrived with us, you need to contact us to rearrange a dilivery dat". This happened twice with no apologies and no offer to make things right. We cancelled the order and requested our money back. 6 working days latter no money, so phoned them. They said "ah yes you new delivery date is.....". I advised them we had cancelled the order the week previous and I want our money back. 12 working days latter I still have not received our money. Spoke them "oh I will speak to accounts department to hurry this up" totally unacceptable. They failed to deliver, which might down to the original supplier I do accept, but where is our money. Ther is no excuse for hanging on to money you are not entitled to
Ordered a SMEG oven for delivery 10 days later (it was available for delivery earlier, they said, but I have decided on a later date for personal convenience). Money was taken promptly from my account. On the day of delivery I stayed home all day but no one came. Called and was told that the item was out of stock and no updates on a new delivery date could be provided. None had bothered to call for providing updates on a delivery that they knew could not be honoured. Ordered somewhere else and canceled the order. So unprofessional!!!
I have been given five delivery dates, still waiting for my Hotpoint washer dryer, first two cancelled delivery dates Gas superstore contacted me about not being in stock, further three confirmed delivery dates , the Gas Supersore did not contact me about non delivery , just did not turn up each time I waited all day , so phoned only to be assured next time it will be delivered, am waiting for the customer services managed to contact me, still waiting, they do not answer e-mails , the customer services are incompetent, have nothing to say in there favour. Someone please contact me
This company failed to deliver on two separate occasions. When they did finally deliver the item was damaged, but as I hadn't unpacked the item and let them know within 72 hours they refused to replace it. I got no reply to my e-mail and when I called and asked to speak to a manager I was told that I would have to wait for one to call me back. That was 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting. I will never, ever use this company again. Their customer service is the worst I have ever come across and they are a disgrace.
Ordered a teasmade delivery date was given as following Wednesday. Night before had email saying they had been let down by suppliers and it would be delivered on Friday. Called the Friday for delivery slot as they said item not in stock. Asked why they hadn't thought of letting me know and guy was borderline rude. Cancelled the order and wil not use again

Two promised delivery dates were missed without anybody contacting me. I had to make endless and numerous calls and emails to customer services and never got any replies. When the delivery finally arrived the driver wasn't happy to bring it round the back even though it was easier. Despite there being only one step and a big opening with double doors, he refused to bring it into the house and I had to leave the house unattended with the doors wide open and go around the street looking for somebody to help. He said he had to go because he was blocking the road. I told him to move the van and come back because it couldn't be left in the doorway, as the doors could not be closed. It was then dragged across the newly tiled floor on a the wooden palette. I have been in touch with customer services and the managing director, but nobody replies.

Mar 24,2017I ordered a TV they cancelled the delivery and re-scheduled it, I asked for a guarantee that it would be delivered on the second date given over 2 weeks after the order, they have again cancelled the delivery and now told me they wont be getting any more stock and if I choose an alternative it will be another week before they get it in and then they will arrange delivery. The first gentleman I spoke to lied to me the second really couldn't be bothered. Rubbish company I would not use again and would never recommend anyone else use them
