Delivery kept getting put back (3 times) was meant to be today but i never recieved a delivery time, i also did not receive a call or email from them saying my cooker hood was not coming. Every time I have called it takes at least 10 mins for someone to answer the phone, there is only ever one person who answers the phone and so far he's been unhelpful and keen to get me off the phone. I've asked for a refund, will update with how long it takes to get it back. Update - I was eventually issued a refund, it was not returned to me within the time stated and I had to call and email repeatedly in order to get it processed. I was lied to and told it had been done when it hadn't. AVOID this company.
What a disaster of a company. We ordered a glass fronted hole in the wall fire which once delivered we realised that it would not fit our chimney breast and asked if we could exachnge it for a similar but smaller model. The fire still in its original packaging and unopened. They messed us about for weeks telling us that the other model would be delivered in "7-10 days". Of course it never ever happened. That's when we decided that we would return this unopened fire and have our almost £800 refunded back to us. 'Cal' agreed to waive the fee of £25 odd quid because we were forced to cancel the order because they couldn't deliver the goods. The item has now been returned to them over a week ago but they have still not even processed the refund and keep fobbing us off and saying that they would "raise it with the accounts team". What a load of garbage. It takes 30 minutes for somebody to even answer the phone and when they do they are rude, dismissive and really just don't care about how much money of yours they have which should be rightfully refunded back to you. Atrocious customer service and they just don't care that they take your money and give you nothing. My God, they have their item back but will still refuse to return our money. How low can a company get. It's pathetic. They say they are transferring you to the accounts team but I highly doubt they even have one. When someone does then answer the call they keep repeating "I'll raise it with the accounts team." It's so frustrating. I thought you were the accounts team that I was transferred to!! You ask to speak to a manager but of course there's an excuse there too about why you cannot speak to them. If they ever tell you that they will call you back, don't believe them. They will never call you back. They say that just to get you off the phone. I just want to get our money back so we never have to think about this company or deal with them ever again. Biggest mistake we've ever made ordering from them. It's now 03:22 in the morning and my wife is sat in bed worried that we've been scammed out of a large amount of cash by these crooks. You cannot be allowed to treat people this way.
I ordered a TV. They asked me to get an authorization code from the bank as they expected that I am trying to commit the fraud. Despite delivery address being the address that card was registered to. I obtained the code I called them and they said that everything is OK. Then they told me that the product has been discontinued. Pathetic
Ordered a Washing Machine. After waiting in all day it never arrived. Took over 45 minutes to get in contact with a person. The different teams have to email each other which they say take a day for a response. They lied about trying to contacting me by email and phone. They tried to rearrange delivery for a week later so I asked for a refund I was told 4 days - Even though I paid through PayPal which should be instant. I waited over a week and still no refund. I had to claim the money back through PayPal! Shocking customer service and terrible communication.
Ordered BBQ, showed in stock and delivery booked. The day before got an automated email saying it was delayed due to manufacturers issues. This happened for the next 3 weeks and by the time it was a month I gave up. 25 minutes on hold to cancel. In fairness got the refund next working day, so I suppose that earned 1 star... Re-ordered from a rival and it came next day!
This must be the worst company I ever used and I would ask anyone about to deal with them to think again. I bought a SMEG fridge freezer and this is how they left it in my house because the driver had come on his own. Regardless if you pay for 1 man delivery or 2 man delivery nobody should be put in this position. At first they even refused to collect the item, which was clearly damaged by the way it was left and a I was informed the courier had dropped the fridge. To leave an item blocking fire routes in a house with 2 small children is simply not acceptable. I have still not even received an apology. Unable to upload pics at the moment but basically they left the fridge freezer on it's side blocking the kitchen and living room door. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!
It's not often we write a good review... but felt it only fair after we purchased a new TV and soundbar from the Gas Superstore. Both items we're delivered on time and also cheaper than anywhere we could find online. Both are in perfect working order and our kids love the larger television. We're now looking at buying a new washing machine and cooker as our experience with this company has been excellent. Many thanks

I have had the same awful experience with gas superstore like most people on this site. I have ordered TV on 27th of Feb and waited week and after week without any delivery despite my phone calls and emails which they never replied to. After nearly one month I told them I would like to cancel and waited for the refund and did not get any. They told me 3-5 days waiting time which expired on 31st March. They told me it is still with the accounts department. I see they tell the same story to everyone. If this is not a fraud then I would like to know what this word means. These people are nothing but a bunch of crooks with no morals and feelings for other people hard earned cash. I have started the process with third party to claim the money and I shall also report them to the appropriate authority because they are committing an act of fraud. I strongly suggest we ALL must do the same otherwise they will prey on the money of the honest people of this great country. They will have to be made to stop trading via legal means because trading is not their business as we all have found out. I shall not supply reference number here because I was advised no to contact them any more hence I do not need them to reply to this posting.
Very pleased with the Hotpoint double oven. Good price, delivery was very good. Arrived on time and the driver phoned before he arrived which is vital as my property is hard to find. The product was in good condition when it arrived and it has lived up to its expectations. I have not owned an induction hob before but I have experienced using my sister's, and was very impressed with the speed it heats the pans up, much quicker than an ordinary ceramic hob. Highly recommend this product.
absolutely disgusted, i cancelled my order 2 hrs after placing it, I still haven't had a refund 10 days later despite being told id get it 2-5 working days, i have now filed a claim online with the courts, I would rather lose my money having this company wound up than seeing them fleece others, as another has pointed out they must remove the negative reviews from their own website, clearly fraudsters, their staff training must be how to lie to customers
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL .... AND THATS AN UNDERSTATEMENT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THESE BUNCH OF AMATEURS LIKE THE PLAGUE. (Please note I originally wrote this review on 25th March 2017. However my original review breached trustpilot terms and conditions. I gave names of staff I contacted hoping it'll help others speak to the right people). Ordered a TV and twice the delivery had to be postponed. Decided that enough was enough and requested a refund. This was requested over the phone and via email. They promised the refund within 3-5 working days. 7 working days later and still nothing. Contacted customer services and left on hold for over 30 minutes. Turns out they were on lunch between 1-2. When I finally did get through they said the refund was requested. Mr customer services promised he'd contact accounts and get back to me that afternoon. Got to 5:15pm and no call. I rang customer services again but they had gone home at 5. All this took place on a Friday. The automated message said they are open on Saturday. So Saturday comes and I call again. Conveniently for them, acounts do not operate on Saturday. If you ask me, they don't operate on any day. So hit a brick wall. I spoke to A lady who happens to be the person I emailed requesting the refund. Turns out that she actually works for another department and is covering customer service on the Saturday. The Customer service manager is, who I cannot name shall be calling me on Monday although not first thing (as I had asked). My advice to anyone thinking about buying anything from gas superstore is nine times out of ten don't buy, the tenth time you think about it and ... don't buy. I shall be updating this review as and when I get more information. I have written the same review on other review sites.
Ordered a cooker hood over a month ago and should have got delivered 3 days later , 3 days later no delivery and got an email saying it be delayed and get delivered on sat (2 days later) , waited all day Saturday and nothing! Phoned the company and they said that it will be delivered the following week, a week later , no phone calls or anything , phone back again and they said it will be delivered the following week again and so on!!! It unbelievable, I keep waiting thinking I waited long enough, might as well wait another week, but looks like it's never going to happen. The gasuperstore clearly doesn't care ! I'll share this all over social media and ensure their reputation is destroyed !!
I bought a Samsung fridge, best Internet price I could find. Admittedly a little worried after purchase when I read some negative feedback form other customers. But I needn’t have worried I was contacted the evening before with a 3 hour delivery window, 20 minutes before delivery the driver rang Item was boxed and as described.... very happy with my purchase.
I have given one star because it's not possible to give no stars. This company is a disgrace. They took my money for an order and gave me a delivery date which they then changed saying that they did not have the goods in stock. So why take my money? They ignored my emails and when I eventually got through on the telephone they agreed to cancel my order and give a refund which I have never received. I phoned again today at 1705 to be greeted by a message saying they were closed and that their hours were 0900-1730 Mon-Fri. A complete joke! I feel very strongly that I have been duped by The Gas Superstore avoid them at all costs.
We ordered a range cooker, with a delivery 2 weeks in advance so we could make sure all of our pipework was done prior to delivery. We were told the day before delivery by email it wasnt coming. No explanation, no date, just sometime in the future. we have now been without a cooker for a week and a half, and being told that they dont know when the delivery will be. Funny enough, the product is in stock with the supplier, but I was told there had been a problem with the order, but no explanation as to what or why and no apology. Poor customer service. This has been paid for, and we have nothing to show for it. The staff are guarded, clearly used to putting off unhappy customers (I wish I had checked their reviews before purchasing this item as its seems to be the normal experience for alot of customers) I would sincerely think long and hard before placing an order with this company unless you are happy being without a vital piece of equipment for so long. I have been told now that my order will be delivered at the back end of next week - Can't say I am convinced. Louise was excellent and tried to help, and organised the manager to call with an update - Louise called back to see if I had received the call, which I hadnt, and so then tried to get me through to the manager, which didnt happen, as she was "busy", despite being promised a call from her by lunch time. This company offers a terrible service and I believe the poor people that work there are so used to handling calls about non delivery's they don't even know what to say. Beware buyers
You can always tell a company by the customer service, and what i had was brilliant. I wont lie . The road was rocky but the customer service i had i couldn't fault in the slightest. After having an incorrect item delivered and finding out the one i wanted was not in stock , Paul from TGC went out of his way to source exactly what i was after. There was a mixup in the item but this was down to a 3rd party. Paul kept me in the loop every step of the way and i had my delivery on Sat and i am over the moon with what i have ordered I will be using them again solely based on the customer service alone
Ordered a washer dryer and a cooker hob which I paid for instantly, was promised delivery seven days later on said day my wife booked day off work nothing arrived . I had to phone them to be told oh it will be next week. After three delivery dates have come and gone still no items delivered I requested a refund a week later no money has been put back in my account. I ask myself by law are they aloud to keep hold of my money they have now had it for six weeksi have phoned and emailed loads of times emails do not get answered and the phone experience is like talking to a bunch of nine year olds the worst customer service I have ever received on the phone recording it states that the business is personal and a family owned business THAT FAMILY MUST BE ASHAMED OF THEIR Business I never normally write reviews but feel I have to stop this company stealing money out of people's banks and not delivering goods or giving refunds back I will be reporting this company to the trading standards and asking my bank to recover the money.dont hold out much hope for a reply to this after seeing all the other awful experiences people have had they must do this to everyone
I ordered and paid by credit card for a washing machine on 2nd March 2017. I was given a delivery for 8th March. On 7th I was told delivery was again delayed to 15th. On 14th another email saying new delivery was now 18th. On 17th another cancellation email saying delivery would now be 25th. As this was now three cancellations of delivery I rang on 18th March and asked for a refund. I was told they would pass the info to their accounts department for refund. No money two days later, I sent an email, no money four days later, I sent an email. I emailed them yesterday (23rd March) no reply. I have just rung and been on hold for 5 minutes only to eventually be told it has been processed and should be in my account. I told them it is not and he said he would get onto the accounts department and ring me back. Needless to say, he didnt ring me back and by close of business hours the money was still not back in my account. I will now be reporting them to trading standards and urge all the other bad reviewers to do the same.

Apr 07,2017We ordered a £629 dishwasher online on Tuesday 28th for delivery on Thursday 30th. I took a day's leave to wait in for it (costing over £120). We were told we would receive a delivery slot confirmation on Thursday morning. We paid by PayPal and the money was taken out of our account immediately on placing the order. After 3 attempts to get through and over an hour on hold, I got through to their customer services number late morning on Thursday. It turned out that they no longer stocked that dishwasher, and didn't even have it when they accepted our order and took our money. No dishwasher would be arriving that day. They promised to upgrade us for free to the replacement model. They said that the manufacturer would contact us directly to arrange delivery. They said that the new model cost £649. They promised to email me to confirm. 24 hours later we had heard nothing from the Gas Superstore or Whirlpool. I rang Whirlpool myself to arrange delivery. They knew nothing about it. The Gas Superstore had not placed any order with them, despite promising to prioritise it the day before, and despite having had our money for 3 days. Also, the cost of the new dishwasher was £629 - the same as the old one - not £649 - so their promise of a goodwill gesture was misleading. I decided to order it directly from Whirlpool at this point. They offer free Saturday delivery, unlike the Gas Superstore, so I could avoid losing another £120. I called the Gas Superstore to cancel our order and request a refund. They promised to email me to confirm he was arranging it. They didn't. On Tuesday 4th, we had still heard nothing and received no refund, so I called again. I rang the sales line this time and got through straight away. The person I spoke to promised to chase it up and agreed that a PayPal refund should be instant. However we still didn't receive it till the following day, as apparently the accounts department weren't doing refunds that day. To conclude, the Gas Superstore took £629 from us for a product they never had. It took them 8 days to refund us, following phone calls from us to chase them up. If you ring their customer service number you are likely to be cut off and you should expect to hold for at least half an hour. If you ring their sales number you get through straight away. Apparently potential customers are important to them, but actual customers are not.
