I saw your response to call after my message below. I have no need for another wasted phone call to be told I need to travel to Europe as my only way to change a top. Just clearly disappointed in TKMaxx. Original message - My husband purchase a sports top for me in Berlin store and didn’t fit so tried to exchange (not refund) in Scotland store - wow you would think it would have been simple but was advised they couldn’t do that and only option was to call customer service. Again waste of time and apparently by best and only option was to get a flight to Germany (luckily I would use any store in Germany) to do the exchange! Laughable surely it’s an international company. I would have under stood the exchange rate difference but clearly not going to fly anywhere to change a top. Was a regular in Tkmaxx and never had any issues before but bad experience had put me off .
Fraud - Earrings labelled sterling silver and charging prices for this metal, are not sterling silver. Do not buy their cheap china jewellery! Fraudulent company and Ernie Herrman the so called CEO doesn't respond!
Please be very careful buying any expensive jewelery from here. Ordered a beautiful necklace for my mum's birthday but unfortunately Arrived yesterday with an empty box with no necklace. It's obviously been stolen from there warehouse because the bag was very secure and clearly unopened. Very disappointed not worth the stress.
I bought a large Nautica suitcase. It looked very nice but after loading it with just 22kg one of the wheels and side support caved in. Just one single trip. Unfortunately the store will not replace or refund it as its just outside the 28 day return period. I wasted £69.99. Be very cautions with these "nice-looking" products! Update: 29/09/24. TKMaxx have now agreed to take back the defective suitcase and I have replaced it with another of their products. Thank you.
Hallo ich liebe TK Maxx aber ich möchte mich hier massiv über das Treasure System beschweren. Habe fleißig Schlüssel gesammelt und nach monate langer Wartezeit und Kommunikation mit Support sowie angeblicher neuer Zusendung der Prämie /Geschenkes / treue Dankeschön 4 Monate später immer noch nichts da. Die 5 Schlüssel sind weg, viele email versendet mit der Beschwerde aber außer hinhalten mit warten sie bitte da der Postweg bis zu 30 Tagen dauern kann, ist wie gesagt 4 Monate später kein Geschenk eingetroffen. Sehr schade und somit erteile ich diese Bewertung für das treue System Treasure. Nicht schön, man freut sich darauf und geht fleißig bei euch Einkaufen und dann so was... Täuschung am Kunden !!!!

I would like to say how nice and refreshing it is to visit my local tk maxx store in Colne Lancashire. This store is always super clean and tidy and very spacious to shop. The staff are very helpful, friendly and always happy to help. Although I visit several tk maxx stores regularly ( Burnley, Blackburn, Leeds and Blackpool ) Colne is by far the nicest, cleanest and friendliest and I visit at least twice a week. Keep up the good work.

I found a large mat at Merthyr Tydfil branch which had three different prices on it. The mat was between other discounted mats; i carried it to the till, however the boy who served me charged me £119.99 when the prices were £120. The sale price was £89 and odily £65 When questioned he said that's the price is 119.99 if you want it. Even discounted items should be clear marked on the price. I was made to feel extremely embarrassed whilst a queue customers started to form behind. i think i would have not chosen the mat at the price i was charged. I would like to add the mat is really nice. however i do feel I was like at a meat market arguing over price. I've decided to keep the mat but will not return to the miserable Merthyr branch.
Was subjected to racial profiling whilst shopping in a TK Maxx store in Lewisham, South London when being served at the till by Shamila. Was absolutely disgusted by the treatment and have not stepped foot in a store since.
Southampton city centre store. We have a little Toy Poodle which we carry in hands only. Visited this store before with our dog with no trouble. This time we were not allowed to come in even when my 4 years daughter was crying because she came to buy toys but could not come in. Also, it says online that small dogs are allowed. Very bad experience and very upsetting.
I recently bought two Polo Shirts about six months apart, one from “Aquascutum”& one from “Plein Sport”. They both were marked with big discounts. When the 2nd one arrived (£200-£24.99) I thought it was the same material and feel as the first one. On inspection both were made in Bangladesh and distributed by Intermoda Firenze. So I presume, I may be wrong, that these shirts are actually made in Bangladesh for Intermoda and then Intermoda add the prints? On the Intermoda web site they have both Aquascutem and Plein Sport as their brands. I suppose when something sounds too good to be true it usually is.
AVOID AT ALL COST (OR IT WILL COST) These people got a shop with a fuzzy ruled car park in their Exeter Exe Bridge Retail Park, with a machine that does not give a receipt and so complicated rules that the risk of a £60 fine must be considered on top of the shopping.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Hounslow TK Maxx, where I was treated unprofessionally by a manager named Sujata. While at the checkout, I asked if I could use my sister’s employee discount, as she works at another TK Maxx store. I had all the proof needed to show this. Instead of speaking to me directly, Sujata communicated only through the staff member serving me, telling them I couldn’t use the discount. She did not once acknowledge me, look at me, or show any respect for my concerns. I felt completely disregarded, and as a Black woman, I couldn’t shake the feeling that her behavior was racially motivated. To make matters worse, after delivering her message indirectly, she left to assist another customer without ever addressing me personally or resolving my situation. I left the store feeling angry, upset, and invisible. No customer should ever be made to feel this way. I hope TK Maxx takes appropriate action to ensure better treatment for all customers.
Loved the style of a jacket, of which a couple were available, but was undecided, as it was not labelled water resistant. However, I returned a few days later to get it anyway, and whilst one was still available, the price had almost doubled, with a new sticker ticket manually attached. I raised the discrepancy with a manager, but the price could not be traced easily and was told that it takes 24h of investigation. They wouldn’t even put it aside for me and take my phone number to call me, claiming this was due to GDPR, which is of course a poor excuse and doesn’t suggest understanding of the regulation.
I bought some Umbro socks for my husband from your store and they were so tight around the ankle that it cut off his blood supply and he.was extremely distraught and I will never buy any socks from you again.

Second time they have messed up. Do they have 2 year olds packing up their orders? Items arriving completely smashed up or just not being delivered even though it’s on the order confirmation? And sending me a random item that I didn’t order!? Make it make sense? Now we have to send back smashed up glass and incorrect items. Don’t order from them.
I put my order online 2 days ago, I spent almost £300, I recently moved houses and I made a mistake by not changing the address on my online account, but I realised 1 hour later, when I contacted them but they said this can’t be changed. The order hasn’t been dispatched, so they just don’t want to deal with it and they don’t care about their customers. 99% of the companies are able to make Changes, but they can’t. No wonder they have awful reviews.

Oct 02,2024I love shopping at TKMaxx. I'm a regular customer. I am actually shocked at the poor reviews on here- many of which seem pretty suspect to me. I shop at the Denton store, Greater Mancheste. Most recently for some towels as a gift. I buy all my fancy soaps there. My son, now in his early 30s still has a smart black woollen coat I bought him for his first interview over 10 years ago. I love browsing the home gadgets too. It's a standing joke between my mum and my sisters. They'll say.. "That looks good Sue, where'd you get it? Then in unison they anticipate the reply "TKMaxx?"
