So previously left a message about parking in TK Maxx retail park , an agent came back to me as you can see below and gave me the impression if I contacted customer service they would assist me ..NOT … all this was was a generic response to make them look helpful in the matter …this only cost me another 30 mins on the way phone to no avail .. seriously don’t insult someone’s intelligence.. all you’ve done is make yourselves seem helpful .. I am furious as this could have been handled better , I’ve gone from agent to agent telling me to appeal which is a process before TK could help me .. no such thing !!!! If the person in store knew how to process a refund I would have been in and out as the store was empty, instead i waited 4 mins in which time i received a £100 parking fine .. outrageous!!!!! DONT PARK IN TK MAXX retail parks you might also receive £100 ticket.
First class, professional and friendly assistance from two polite assistants at Tkmaxx Knaresborough today. I was looking to buy a sofa and spotted one I liked which was on display, was then informed that there was another similar style but different colour one which had just been delivered but not yet on the shop floor, the Team Leader Joel and his colleague Callum went to the trouble of getting the different one out of its box so I could view it. I made my decision and also needed help with getting the sofa delivered, this was arranged with no hassle and was a swift and efficient process, I was really grateful for all the help and trouble Joel and Callum took today, I received very polite and efficient service nothing was a problem to them- thank you very much to them both, a credit to the company.
Been waiting a while for a click and collect. Every time I call the WOODGREEN store they tell me to wait. It’s says 2 working days. It’s been way past that. Come on wood green, show some better customer support, least you can do is ask for my order number and check maybe it’s in store already. Pathetic customer support
I love this shop. You never know what you'll find and you can often find a real bargain. The only complaint about the brick and mortar stores are the aisles are ridiculously narrow. You can barely get a shopping cart down there, never mind people getting past. Why even offer carts with such narrow aisles?
They need to fix their website as it is so annoying to shop online on their site. It's been saying zero item found whenever you want to shop on their homepage which wasn't like that before. Management, please try and fix this poor services.
Item arrived with a massive dent which will make it useless in less than a year. The package was highly unsuitable for the furniture in question and left the furtniture to rattle around in the box unsecured picking up scratches and a massive dent.
Bought 2 tops, wore once an when putting on line noticed a big mark from right to left realised it was my seet belt took back an manger wouldn't change them it not a fault, so I carnt understand a seat belt cause all pulls in my new top, manager said its not a fault, wen ovs is the chose material that if in contact with anything pulls ..is it me or should she have taken back only bought for work my drive is 5 mins
Been to Milton Keynes TK Maxx shop , the one in The Centre and was looking for some shoes for my son and he picked up from the shelf a pair of white trainers which were worn , in and out you could tell they have been used and were back on the shelf with a label and everything for 17.99£ , I took them to the cashier and told them that they should not sell those shoes as new because they are worn and dirty, it’s a matter of health and safety and he told me that they can sell them like that . That is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable, shame on you TK maxx
What a load of rubbish. Time and time again all the reward you get for choosing tk's is entry into a competition. This time it's the Prince's trust, not a prize, sort of a competition. Donate to their org to gain entry to a competition. The Royals take the credit while donations from people prop it up. Give your shoppers proper rewards. I've emailed them loads of times. They don't act on feedback with anything but lip service.
Good afternoon Upon visiting Columbus in May 2024,I visited TJMax in Grove city and purchased a Britbag medium suitcase from the store as you are a trusted retailer. The handle to the top of the suitcase Is broken and has come loose from its fixing. I cannot see a way to pop the handle back into the slot as the plastic handle is attached by a metal screw that not looks like It has moves position Pne trip-Columbus to The UK where I live and very disappointed at this fault occurring. The manufacturer has stated that under 12 months I must come back to you as the suitcase is now unfit for purpose,to your goodselves to refund me or replace the item. replacement may be costly as I said I am living the UK. A positive outcome is what I am expecting. I am disappointed that the manufacturer does not want to look at this due to stores 12 month liability as perhaps they could look into this fault in the handle. Thank you for your time. Take care David I am unable to update images onto trustpilot 🙄
Sears retail store solihull. Don't go in if your in a wheelchair as staff will not help you or allow you to pass to go down the aisles. Two staff members were chatting while sorting shelves out and had blocked the aisles with trolleys. They looked at me and carried on chatting. Luckily my carer managed to go past them to get what I needed. To make matters worse the same male staff member and female with short blonde hair waited in the queue for the tills and were laughing at the lovely girls serving customers. Hearing staff belittle the girls on the tills was awful especially after being treated this way by tue same two staff members. Your also not allowed to buy eye lashes if your carer does not look 25. My carer had to place items on the checkout and because of this I was told I can't buy the lashes due to the age restriction. If I wasn't disabled I wouldn't have a carer to help me and would have been able to purchase the items

Shopping on their website is a tedious task for a number of reasons. Firstly, the website is not user-friendly at all. Often, you visit and there's a message stating to return back later as there is site maintenance being carried out only to return to more glitches than there were previously. Currently, I've been trying to shop on the website but each time I click on an item and then try to return to the previous page, I get the following error message: 'Oops something went wrong, please click refresh and try again'. When I click refresh, I am then taken right at the beginning of the page and not at the items that I was previously looking at. It is so annoying and time-consuming that I honestly don't know why I bother. In addition to this, I have placed orders recently for click and collect, spent time and money to go to the store to collect them, only for majority of the items to have some sort of fault/imperfection and require returning. It all just seems like a complete waste of time! NOT SURE WHY I must email customer service regarding the above issue when I have stated the issue clearly on here. If the customer service really gave a toss about complaints, they could read them on here and do something constructive about them rather than telling me to email them which will only be a repeat of what I've stated on here anyway. Also, almost a month after this review and despite TK Maxx having read it, nothing has been done to improve the glitches on their website.
I would not even give them 1 star! I ordered a tshirt for £149.99. The package arrived. It was brown raffia kind of paper (used for homeware) inside this was white paper, then a plastic bag opened, containing only the labels, cut off. Clearly in my opinion, deliberately done to make it feel heavier with the brown paper. No refund, they are happy it was packed and distributed properly?! I’ve spent thousands over the years. Never had a problem before. I am reporting to Trading Standards, contacting Which? Legal team today. My bank will not look into this until 14 days after money was taken. I will happily take this to the small claims court. Whoever packed this, I believe did so, in a way that was deliberately designed to deceive. The fact they closed this very quickly, is disgusting. I won’t stop until I get my money back. They took my money, now attempting to put the responsibility on me. how many other customers do they do this to on Gold Label items? Having anyone steal from you, when you pay in good faith, feels violating and horrible. It certainly appears to go against my consumer rights. I did not receive what I ordered. Update in response.. Dear Kif, i have been conversing with Lewis, who has made his position clear from the outset of his investigation and will no longer help me, other than suggest for me to talk to my bank. I, of course, had asked for this to be escalated. I have further replied to Lewis, referencing the Consumer Rights 2015 act, Namely they be Of satisfactory quality; Fit for any particular purpose made known to the seller; and As described. including the company’s responsibility of the items whilst in transit/ delivery (not the courier) Louis states the Tshirt left the warehouse correctly. That I intend to contact Trading Standards, Seek legal advice and go to the Small Claims Court if necessary. Clearly, the items I received, were not as pictured or described when sold, and not fit for purpose. I grew up with Blue Peter, and not even they could construct a Tshirt out of the paper, plastic bag and labels I received. There was no Tshirt. Whilst I appreciate your kind response, Lewis is cemented in his repeated response of ,”being unable to assist you any further”, I don’t think another email or call to your offices, is really going to help me get an apology and my money back.
Edited Thank you customer service for helping sort this issue out. It has been fully resolved now and we have a new case. Thank you very much. Shirley and Peter I bought a suitcase from TKMax on the 5th June in Runcorn. I was flying on that day and my original suitcase had broken on the zip. After what was already a stressful day I was very happy to have a new case. Then went on holiday that afternoon. The handle kept falling down in the airport I needed to catch my flight and was unable to do anything about the handle falling down. I even fell over the case at one stage because i was walking with the case and it just went down. It will not stay up. I had to catch my flight and my case was exactly the same all trip. After I returned home a week later on the 12th June and my husband returned the faulty case straight away. This whole incident caused me much distress because I am not the most mobile of people being officially disabled and needed a reliable case. It was not reliable and faulty and dangerous for me The shop refused to exchange it or give a refund after 7 days because it was used and had a scratch on from the baggage handlers. Well thats because we have no control over what happens on a flight. The item was faulty goods and therefore the scratch is irrelevant. My husband wrote to customer services. And still 1 week later has heard nothing back. We have the receipt still and we are very disappointed in the service. My next stop is to trading standards because we are within the law to return faulty goods bought from a shop. This is a faulty goods and is not as it describes on the label.
Very poor customer service. On 6th May I was double charged due to a POS error in the store. Each time I contact customer to chase up on the refund, they tell me, once again, the payment provider failed to process the refund due to an error on their side & please wait another 5-7 days. They keep closing the tickets and reopening new ones presumably to look like tickets are being dealt with - which they are not. I'm still waiting for my 300 euro, a month and a half later.
I ordered some items on Friday 14th June and paid the extra £6.99 for 24 hour delivery. Impressively, the package did come on time, the next day. Unfortunately, one of the items was damaged and I think it was already chipped. The person who selected and packed it should have noticed that. I contacted TK Maxx and was impressed to get a response within 24 hours from a lovely lady called Jessica. She was polite and refunded me promptly for the item and the extra postage I paid. That is a good service and I feel should be shown here as I can see a lot of negative reviews. People are always more forgiving if they receive a decent customer service. I will shop online again there now as my issue was dealt with professionally. I would encourage the company though to check items before they send them.
unfortunately had a negative experience here at Charing Cross Road TK Maxx. I came in on Friday and purchased an Arsenal top and came to return it on Monday as it was too big. I had the recent, the top was not worn and tag were attached. I was met with three women who accused me of 1. Not purchasing the top (which they didn’t take my word about it so they went to verify with CCTV), 2. Wearing and washing the top (which is obviously not possible as the tag was still attached), and 3. That my card (which was on my phone as Apple Pay) was not mine. The way I was treated was as if I stole the top, no one apologised for wasting my time or their bad manners. I feel like this could have been handled with kindness and respect as I was being really patient and honest bearing in mind I was standing there for a total of 27 minutes. I will not be coming back again
Had an issue with an item from my order so I contacted TKMaxx via its contact form and within 24 hours they actioned a resolution. In this respect I would feel confident buying from the website in the future as their customer care surpasses other brands/retailers.

Jun 30,2024I was pleased to have found a handbag that would suit my needs, and pointed to the nice features the bag had. For no reason at all, the sales clerk began zipping and unsnapping the features. I asked her to stop. The extent of the damage was not discovered until I reached home, when the magnetic snaps failed, no doubt due to being roughly pried open. The bag is not usable. I have lost both money and the use of my purchase but will lose again should I have to return to the store. There's a certain maliciousness in ruining people's goods while they are paying for them. I think T.J. Maxx should make arrangements to ship me a replacement, at which time I will ship the damaged bag back to them. I should not have to travel to the store because of someone else's mishandling of my purchase. ____________________________ There is a "please contact us" message provided concerning this review. It does not appear that the contact information is within North America. I cannot imagine how contacting the UK would be of help. Sounds like just a distracting runaround dressed up to look like a response.
