Tk You have gone downhill....used to get good gear at good prices but now most of it is tatt
Some of the staff at the Wrexham store, particularly a diminutive redhead woman, consistently displays a rude and unprofessional demeanor toward customers. Her behavior suggests that she may be experiencing personal difficulties that are affecting her ability to provide adequate customer service. It would be beneficial for her to seek professional help to address these issues and improve her interactions with customers.
Ordered 300 pounds worth of clothes online for holiday in two weeks time I’ve got no receipt no email no text and no clothes contacted TK by email and phone. They could not find my orders and I’ve had to prove by way of a copy of a bank statement that I’d even made an order I’m still waiting for the goods.
I am a huge fan of TKmaxx but have seen that a PJ set we brought for my sister is damaged seems to have been totally worn! What an embarrassment 😫! I was in a rush and picked it up not looking at the state or condition thinking all items here would be new? The label also says Rachel Zone but the tag is labelled Cynthia Rowley. There are numerous snags all around and stains! Really disappointed and shocked! All clothing items should be quality checked before put on rails.
Great customer service today when I returned a faulty item purchased last week. Can’t fault the team, very helpful.
I picked up a Treasure card in store. Finally I made a purchase that filled all the jewels on my Treasure card. Today I received an email promising me gifts to my door. Just click and choose said the email. I got to choose from:- 1. entry into a Competition to win tickets to a festival. 2. enty into a Competition to win a little Air Fryer. 3. A free month's subscription to an exercise App Disappointed and feeling let down. No prize to my door. PS. Been replied to by "Ruth" already contacted Tkmaxx via various platforms and all replied to by "Ruth"
Terrible online shopping experience with TKMaxx. It doesn’t give Customers the option to amend the delivery address even you call their customer service before it gets dispatched. I which they can listen to the customer pain point and design their process properly!
OSAMA a staff of TK Maxx in Westfield Stratford city bullied me and ordered me to leave the store because they need to close the store at about 8:45pm today. He intimidated me and in his own words he said to me “if you are not buying anything I will invite you to leave the store” There were still customers at various locations in the store and Osama singled me out and harassed me. OSAMA treated me like a criminal. I asked to speak to the Manager by name Navid. Unfortunately NAVID lacked the knowledge and capacity to deal with an aggrieved customer. NAVID was patronising and was very reluctant to give the complaint line. He kept saying in a to me you don’t have to feel bad and laughed in a non professional way in handling customer complaints. Tx Maxx in Westfield Stratford has a bad reputation in customer service. The company should train their staff in that branch. Money is hard to come by these days but this branch of tax Maxx in Stratford city are not customer friendly. Very unprofessional.

The tkmax store in Winchester is like two story thrift store also there are alot of bad labels and some clothing even some grand parents wouldn't where the layout is so bad everything is packet to close together when they have a clearance it is so bad that most of the clothing belongs in bin to old fashioned . They do other some good labels and now and again you get some high end labels there are a few normal designer label but apart from that alot of the clothing is horrendous also men don't get alot of options like women so from my my point of view it seems more like a tkmax for women has women get the better and more fashionable label alot of the men's clothing is fodder the trainer and shoe section is so bad all cramp and again small section for the men and less products and lesser labels and there is alot of garbage I don't no who buys the clothing for tkmax in Winchester who ever it is they seem clueless on Winchester we lack any good mens designer shops so we only have tkmax. If there where in other designer stores in Winchester I wouldn't bother shopping in this store
The quality of goods has reduced significantly and the prices are now ridiculously high. It’s like shopping in Pennys but paying double.
There is such a wide variety of clothing in all sizes and the prices are affordable for designerwear. More than that there is everything from sunglasses to cometics, bags and shoes
I want to express my upset and utter humiliation from my experience today in TK Maxx, Newry. The treatment I received from the management on duty was horrific. Last week, on the 15/05/2024, I drove 45 minutes from home, to visit TK Maxx in Newry. I picked up three items of clothing from the girls section, one of which was a four piece, so two outfits on one hanger. I also picked up a toy school bus and a children’s book. With my toddler and a trolley in tow, I transferred the entirety of my basket onto the counter, and the cashier scanned/dealt with and bagged all of these items for me. She continued to charge me and produce my receipt, which she then also put into said bag for me. I left the store immediately, with the bag of items the cashier had passed back to me. It wasn’t until later when we got home, that I noticed one of the outfits on the 4-piece still had the security tag attached to it. This was an inconvenience as I mentioned previously, we live 45 minutes from the store. Today, the 23/05/2024, I returned to TK Maxx in Newry with my toddler, to get the security tag removed. I had a little browse around the store first before heading up to the checkout with the item in question in the same bag, along with the receipt I received on the 15/05/2024. When I got to the checkout, I explained my situation to the girl on the till and provided her with my receipt, she said she could remove it for me no problem. However, as she checked my receipt, she mentioned that the item’s code wasn’t on the receipt and asked was it possible I may have got a separate receipt, or purchased it on a different day to the items that were on the receipt. I told her, “no, that’s the only receipt I received, and I got them all together on the same day”. She notified her supervisor / manager of the situation, who came to take over the situation. This is where my experience became utterly humiliating, that resulted in me shocked and crying in my car afterwards. I want to note first, that I never thought to double-check my receipt before going back into the store on the 23/05/2014, as I just presumed everything else was in order, given that everything was bagged by the cashier on the 15/05/2024. As numerous other members of staff and customers watched on, the supervisor / manager on duty went on to quiz me and totally gaslight me regarding the events of 15/05/2024. Initially she wasn’t that bad, merely suggesting that perhaps the item just wasn’t scanned, which would explain why it wasn’t on the receipt (Although, I never received an apology nor ounce of empathy). After "going to look into it", she went on to become increasingly condescending, and blatantly told me that “this item never crossed the desk”, insinuating that I shoplifted the item or kept it in my possession while the other items were scanned and paid for. Which I know was absolutely not the case. I suggested they look back on the CCTV footage, which she promptly replied “I did, that’s why I could tell there was a yellow toy truck”. I was totally taken aback by her statement and attitude, because if she analysed the CCTV footage sufficiently, she would see that I did in fact pass every item in my basket over the desk to the cashier on duty, and left immediately after, with only the bagged goods that were given to me. I also don’t understand how she could insinuate me shoplifting a 4-piece clothing set, while I was on my own, with no other bags or anything, and a two year old toddler in one hand and the bagged items given to me in the other hand? She was gaslighting me and insinuating that I didn’t put the items on the desk at the till, and intentionally left with them after. In total and utter disbelief of how I was being treated, surrounded by onlookers having stood there with my toddler for what felt like forever, I clarified, “so there’s nothing that can be done?”. To which she replied smugly, “there’s nothing we can do here, sorry”, as she placed the item back in the bag and pushed it back over the counter to me. I would love if someone of higher status than this woman looked over the CCTV footage of my entire time at the store on the 15/05/2024, to observe that the staff here were in the wrong and acknowledge that I have been both horribly mistreated and wrongly accused. I have been to this store dozens of times, have left a lot of money here. However, unfortunately, following my treatment in TK Maxx, Newry today, I will never be returning.
Bought a pair of shorts after inspecting them at home properly in proper light they looked a 100 years old patchy colour and faded with no life in at all tried to take them back had my receipt the receipt was well in date and just because they didn’t have the same pair in store they would not refund me when obviously it’s Tk maxx the whole point of the store is not having the same stock in large quantities. I Said to check cameras as date and time on receipt and refused manager was just a right old witch and didn’t want to help. Stuck with a pair of shorts that look like they’ve come from a charity shop. The cheek they actually told me they aren’t in a re-sellable shape. Exactly why I took them back.
LATEST UPDATE 9TH JUNE 2024 An update on this fiasco, well not really an update, just a continuance of ineptitude, unprofessionalism, and madness. I sent an E mail to the CEO , which went to her inner circle of customer services (Ha Ha), I have now had correspondence with 5 different people all by mail as no one will call me, I have repeated myself time and time again and feel like a parrot , all to no effect. One offered to call me on Thursday and Surprise Surprise still waiting ...... However hot of the press — the reason they could not give our charity a free carrier bag , wait for it...... And I quote, it is against the law now to give out free carrier bags, now I would not like to see the store manager of TKMAXX Harlow sentenced to a jail term over a free carrier bag, so have accepted their explanation graciously. However concerning the missing money on the gift cards, I am no further forward, but will not give up , Will update when TKMAXX get their act together and at least put together some cohesive respond, until then folks, please keep spreading the word on what an absolute shower from the CEO down they really are, our homeless friends are not going to loose over 70 pounds of what is rightfully theirs . Today I went to spend some vouchers given to our Homeless Charity, my last visit I got all the cards validated as they were a gift from a company, today it seems the computer said different to the last visit a couple of months ago, even stating that we had spent one card in Oxford, a place I have not been in many years. I explained we were a charity buying trainers for our homeless friends, and if we might receive a small discount, to be told in no uncertain terms NO!!. To add insult to injury they even charged the charity 30p for the carrier bag. Let’s hope the decision makers at TK MAXX are never homeless and in need of a handout. The charity has today lost out on over 80 pounds on these cards, due to the computer and could not care less attitude of the staff. SHAME ON TK MAXX
I purchased a pair of catesby shoes in feb 24. The inner sole on the one shoe had disintegrated where it joins the heel. I thought not good quality but i will take them back and see if i could get an exchange or refund. I went to the tills and the lady asked for my receipt which i could not find, and she said without it she probably couldn't do anything but would ask her supervisor. I did show her my bank account showing how much paid and on what date and to tk maxx. She came back and said sorry her supervisor would not do anything. So i asked to see the manager. His name was Jass. He came over and said it was wear and tear so thereforw he wouldn't exchange them .he did say as a gesture he would give me a £5 off any purchase that I made. If any criticism I really didn't appreciate being called mate at least 4 times but you decide am i being too critical its just i am in retail and i wouldn't do that. So the question is £30 for a pair of shoes that last only 3 months good value or bad value. I wasn't trying it on i was just really disappointed with the shoes but more so with how i was handled. I felt like i was totally not respected or valued. 1 thing i learned from today take a picture of any purchase like shoes etc with the receipt because let's face it doesn't everyone throw them away. Now me and my kids whom i buy for and my wife do buy a lot from there' it as always been my place for shoes, shirts and coats but i will always ask for and retain my receipts thumbs down tk maxx
Bought a second pair of slippers from TK Maxx. My first pair, French Connection, started to open along the sole edge, of one. This pair, Ben Sherman, are opening on both slippers. Only had them about three weeks. Think it's time to go back to Tesco/Asda, for slippers.
I'm utterly appalled by their conduct. Check if you have been refunded for returns! I happened to notice I had not been refunded for returns going back to March. I have evidenced returns and they have now unapologetically refunded without checking for other orders. I am horrified at the thought of what would have happened had I not kept my receipts!
I ordered a gold label item next day delivery. It didn’t arrive. Postage was refunded. When the item arrived it was a second extremely damaged and scuffed as if it had been worn for a very long time. There is no way this item was new or gold label or worth £199. It is worthless. When I received it it had no labels. It had not been protectedly packaged just shoved in a plastic parcel container. I took it into store for a refund but they refused saying it was only my word it arrived like that. So in less than 24 hours I have wrecked a jacket into a state that it is only fit for a jumble sale? Or more like the recycling dump. I have raised a ticket with customer services and PayPal. Next stop will be small claims court be sure of that. Absolutely disgraceful from a retailer like TK Maxx. I am not shopping there again. Do not shop at this retailer . Update I have had to send photos of the damaged item to customer service even though I have been into store with the item and showed them how damaged it is. Still no refund Update: so TK Maxx go silent and don’t reply to e mails having sold me a £199 jacket that is fit for the bin. Maybe you will respond to. Court summons instead as there is one on its way

Jun 04,2024I do like shopping in TKmaxx but the treasure rewards are truly pathetic and in no way induce you to shop in store. Do something more inventive...£5 off your next shop visit if your treasure reward for 5 purchases value is over £50 for example. To be spent in store only. If customers are like myself it will encourage us to browse and probably purchase something we don't really need but want Instead we get to choose from:- 1. entry into a Competition to win tickets to a festival. 2. entry into a Competition to win a little Air Fryer. 3. A free month's subscription to an exercise App 4. Kids Lunch bags Wow....hold me back...not. I shall not be claiming any of them. Come on do something more rewarding!!!
