I am really disappointed with TK Maxx customer service lately. I was sold a pair of glasses Tuesday 19th March that were apparently “week 41” In Merton store and when I returned them in Wimbledon store Wednesday 20th March they told me they would refund to the amount they were worth now. Repeatedly I have retuned online returns that do not match the till information and I have to prove my online order. Even today I had to show my order for a pair of Adidas sliders that are women’s size 4 but on till code they are mens. Why is this MY problem. Sort yourself out TK Maxx as your service is shocking in a competitive industry where I am considering not shopping with you unless I know I will not be returning it. What a joke.

I was terrified by TK Maxx how my complaints have been handled, now I am not surprised at all as it seems many people had huge problems with TK Maxx, as the reviews left in here. Here is my story... After I left my review here a week ago to share my horrible experience with the staff at Putney store, London, like the others, I was asked to reach the customer service. I made telephone call, TWICE, this week, waited for a few days, at the end, they said to me over the phone, "We are sorry to hear your experience in our store, we will make sure we will have proper training for the staff in the future" Very generic one! May I ask TK Maxx if my case has been properly investigated and documented. Can anyone from TK Maxx please give me a proper response?

I bought some trousers last night in TKMaxx Oxford St before meeting friends. I took them out of the bag to wear today and noticed a frayed hole (I think where the security tag had been removed) and some sticky residue on the waistband. I just tried to return the trousers - which still have all the brand tags on them, though the TKMaxx price label had dropped off (I still have it, and the receipt). The store manager immediately accused me of trying to defraud the shop by returning "the kind of goods they wouldn't sell"(??!!), and refused a refund. When asked to explain the receipt, the tags etc she just said she didn't need to explain. When I asked for the complaints email address, she told me to Google it and said I should get out of the shop. I use TXMaxx a lot, but never again. They have basically refused to take back faulty goods, and accused me of fraud. Still reeling from it!

@TKMaxx_UK So how is it when you pick up a pair of polo Ralph Lauren trainers that are price tagged at £39.99, you get to the till you are told they are £49.99 (your fault they are priced wrong) told do you want them for £49.99 or not? Amazing customer service Isle of Wight!! What sort of company penalises the customer for their mistakes.

I had a complicated Click and Collect order to pick up at Huddersfield Great Northern retail branch. It was really busy for a Mon pm but the staff were really attentive to customers needs and the queueing. They were great and also lovely and very helpful to me. Thank you!

Absolutely ridiculous customer service. I wanted to return a french connection trench coat as it was very poor stitching. It was within a year, and most retailers accept returns in a year if it is faulty. I took it to the shop and the manager had no idea about returns policy !!! She directed me to the customer service who after speaking to the shop emailed me that they don't think it is faulty product and they cannot over ride shop decision!!

Went into the shop in Cheltenham today with my small dog to look at pet products. I reached the back of the shop where I was told by a shop assistant to leave because digs aren't allowed as it is shop policy. How ridiculous! The shop is based in an arcade which is dog friendly yet TK Maxx is not! The shop and its policy is not even worth one star!

We had to report a faulty product but had a few questions. The website form was pointless as it did not appear to activate any response or notification. The chat is only set up for online orders and repeatedly requested an order number. Thankfully I telephoned my local store and the manageress was so helpful and explained fully so that we were able to successfully get a refund. Looks like the old system and the human touch works best with TXMAXX.

The worst customer service i ever had in my life, security they were followed me all the times, i asked about some shoes and no ones care about my requested, very rude, unprofessional, unkind, unwilling, never ever going back again

I placed an order online, immediately realised it was being sent to my old address. Tried to cancel order under my account, which you can do on many... many other sites and stores, but with TK Maxx, nope. Can you change the delivery address? Nope. When you contact them vis their online chat, immediately after, can they do something on their end? You guessed it: NOPE!! Completely and utterly useless and incompetent website and customer service. I am honestly shocked that even customer service couldn't help within 10 mins of placing the order. How ridiculous!!!! Please spend some of your profits on joining us in the 2020s and stop giving most of it to execs or bonuses. Greedy!

I bought a watch and one earrings from the store and staff were nice and explained the watch functionality and earrings qualities to me. Overall it was a good vibe for shopping

I'm giving one star because l can't give 0 to TK Maxxx Banbury Last Thursday 7th March l was returning my order no 34891151 Muslim woman who was doing my refund(she worn black hijab, has gold nose piercing and gold brancled on her hand) was very unhappy that she must serve me. It might be because l was wearing mini skirt. She was very arrogant and rude. She raised her voice at me. First time l had this type experience that sales person was so rude and act in agressive way to costumers. I left store with shaking hands and tears in my eyes. Absolutley horrible experience

Very stressful experience. Put an old address (which was saved on my account) by mistake. Got in touch with customer service straight away, they won't do anything about it. I get it once you order you can't cancel but you should be able to amend, everyone makes mistakes and this one unfortunately will cost me a lot because they don't have the option to do any changes. What is the point of their helpline then?

TKMaxx Treasure gifts appear to be neither use nor ornament. I’ve claimed one Treasure Gift, but only after contacting Customer Services who issued me with a code to reuse my Treasure Keys. I now have another set of Keys which I am unable to use as the ‘gifts’ are totally inappropriate for me, usually pet toys - I don’t have a pet, app downloads for fitness or mindfulness - I have a gym pass, so no use to me or the chance to ‘win’ something, not much chance, so a waste of Keys! I’ve already had yet another code to increase the number of days I have to use my Keys. I now have less than 4 days to use them. It’s becoming a bit of an obsession, checking daily what is on offer. Every day is a disappointment. PLEASE TKMAXX IF YOU ARE OFFERING A REWARD SCHEME, MAKE IT WORTHWHILE FOR YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS!
