I bought a jack, checked all the size guides and bought online. When it arrived it was clearly far too small. I took back to a TKMaxx shop as am not paying for the ridiculous postage. When I got there I was greeted by someone who clearly saw me as inconvenience. And then was only given a refund minus the postage to me??? I will never buy from them again. I will now wait for a reply on here asking me to call etc but it should be reply saying sorry and you will get a full refund but it seems it never is.
I think TKMAXX must use a horse and cart to deliver your items. They charge you £5.99 for a few small beauty items. ,5 days now and the order 34928591 still hasn't left TKMAXX. Won't be ordering from them again
Bought a suitcase and first time packing the inside strap snapped as it was faulty. Had to drive 10 miles to return. No apology, made to feel an absolute nuisance. Unfriendly staff member.
Not wrong as such, I bought the comic relief t shirt, easy to find, for once queue wait not bad . However my beef is with the Treasure rewards, they are often awful this month it is apps mindfullness and health I don't have a phone and I am anyway uninterested in these things. Another option is the very remote chance of winning a competition, is this really worth shopping several times to get the opportunity. The other is a slow feeder mat at least I have dogs but it would not really suit them. like say a collapsible dog bowl that would actually do for any pet. Several weeks before christmas in desperation I got a bag tassel, which could have been a joke present had it not turned up a month after christmas. I love the idea of a loyalty scheme but you could do a lot better I think
Drecksladen! Habe dort sonst locker mehrere tausend Euro im Jahr gelassen.
I visited TKMaxx in Bangor, North Wales on 22nd February 2024 & I left with a huge smile on my face. The shop was well stocked & although I only went to return some online purchases, I was very tempted & bought 3 new items which I love. What really made my day extra special was the sweet checkout girl, Sarah; she was full of smiles & so friendly & helpful & as a pensioner, it was so lovely to chat with someone of the younger generation in such a relaxed & kind way. She was a real star & please thank her from me. Kind regards, Penny Howard
I've been shopping in TKmaxx for years likely spending thousands of pounds with them. It was, and still is the place to go and get unusual things at good prices. However. The last year or so I will walk into the Thanet store (I only shop in their home section) and within 5 minutes of walking down the first isle there is a miserable member of staff with a head set on pretending to tidy a shelf..... At first I didn't think much of it but over the last year you will then get followed by by multiple members of staff around the store - never seeing the same one again. I worked in retail for different department stores and brands so am aware of how you need to be mindful of thieves instore, but how TKmaxx make you feel intimidated for even looking at something is just wrong. There are right ways of doing this - a simple one would be, to acknowledge the shopper and maybe engage in a conversation?.... To be watched/followed as soon as you enter a isle is just not the right way in my opinion as it makes you feel like you're doing something wrong. I've had my baskets or trolley taken away by staff members as you cannot always get it down the isle when there are other shoppers looking. Or when you're trying to decide on multiple items a staff member will come and decide to tidy up around you. Managers will stand in corners cackling away or shout over you to talk to their collogues about what they did at the weekend. I understand this is not a premium store where you will get great customer service by staff members but behavior like this is not professional, A simple smile when you smile at them would be a sufficient but instead you get looked through like you are not there. This doesn't make for a pleasant shopping experience so a lot of the time I will leave whatever I wanted to BUY and leave. If I make it to check out you will normal be greeted by a staff member that doesn't want to be there and will probably tell you that by stating they cannot wait to finish their shift. After this they might as well jump up on the counter and to see if you are trying to steel by checking your basket or trolley is empty..... I am NOT A Thief and I feel like I am treated like one every time I go to TKmaxx in Thanet. It has now got to a point in the last month where I will just not go there anymore unless I really need to. I've been to tkamxx's/Homesense's all over the south east and this Thanet store is the worse, maybe that says it all. It is in Thanet after all....
I will NEVER order online from TKMaxx again. Absolutely appalling customer experience. Ordered 2 x bedside tables. Only one was delivered so I asked the delivery man if he had the 2nd on his van and he said he only had the one. I Immediately contacted Customer Services who after a few days responded saying that the warehouse said there were two packed in the box and could I check the packaging!! As if I’d miss an item as big as a table?? Now they are saying they are out of stock so will refund the missing table but I have to send back the other one at my own expense and only then will they refund my postage once I give them a postal receipt. Even though they caused this issue. No other online store has such a bad system. The chap on the phone was very polite (about the only positive I can think of) but really TKMaxx as a retailer are appalling.
I used TK Max for the first and last time. Having seen an item pop up on a google search I saw that it was a competitive price. I decided to pop into a store to purchase and found the item was more expensive. On speaking to staff it appears the internet price is not the same as the store price although this isn't clear on then web page. I'd rather pay a little bit more via an open and transparent company.
I claimed a reward via your treasure scheme on January 19th, and now it's been more than a month and I still haven’t received it. Your company never takes the initiative to update customers on their reward claim (even when it’s not in stock anymore and you don’t plan to send it out). I have had to email you a few times to find out that you won’t be able to send me my claimed prize. And now your customer service has cancelled my prize and given me a code to use within a month to claim another prize. But all the prize on your website is to win a trip; there is nothing I want. And your winning a trip or whatever is almost like a scam. I tried a few times in the past and didn’t win anything; it was just wasting my treasure points. This is so unfair
Visited tk maxx Newtownards store today and was served by Jen who was very helpful. She persevered with us as we were trying to use 4 gift cards and couldn't get them to work. Nothing was too much trouble for her as she also asked for another member of staff to help called Lynsey. These two members of staff are a credit to their employer and we will have no hesitation in shopping here again. Well done girls!
Also wie ein Secondhand laden komplett ausgesucht und die Preise sind auch nicht gut ca 20% Unterschied von original Preis!War das erste und letzte Mal das ich da war😅 thank you 😂😂😂
Ask toilet for my kid, and manager said to go out from shop. This was happen in northampton NN11PJ, Tk max will not come in this shop, very bad experience.
They stole my money :( BE VERY CAREFUL BUYING HERE!
Chelmer village store. Tried to return an item for an exchange as had lost the receipt all tags and labels visible no issues exchanging items in the past but on this occasion assistant manager Dan decided he wanted to be difficult for no reason. I was spending over £100 in store and just wanted to exchange. I never insisted on a refund but he point black refused to help me and when I questioned why he wouldn’t he became all woke and snowflakey and started getting a bit primadona and sassy. I had every right to know why someone that spends thousands in store a year and has never been refused an exchange before was refused one this morning despite the store being empty.. my basket being full to the brim and being heavily pregnant it wouldn’t of hurt “Dan” to attempt to make my life a little easier would it? My purchase was made on Apple Pay and was in the last 28 days and I had a statement to show him as proof of purchase. Why was this not enough? How can you get away with point blank refusing to help a customer and acting sassy and hard done by? The last time I visited this store was the week before and you were overall very pleasant so why did you insist on causing problems for no reason today Dan? Was it that you got out of bed on the wrong side and decide to inflict misery on loyal customers? Because of your refusal to assist I walked away with hardly any of my basket contents and if every paying customer done this TKMAXX would be going into administration pretty sharpish.
I recently placed an online order for several items, totalling £327.00. this was for next day delivery charged at £6.99, I received an email confirming and thanking me for my order/purchases instructing me they would contact me when my order was due to be delivered. I waited two days without any further contact. I then contacted customer service support. I was told my order had been cancelled, (although all the items were still available), they had taken my full payment from my bank, which I’m still waiting too receive back into my account. The customer service assistant could only apologise, informing me the reason being was allegedly TKMaxx have an outdated system which they are trying to improve. I am still waiting for my payment to be returned too my account I am appalled by this service I will never use or recommend this service again, I am now returning several other items which I purchased in store totalling £250.00 can TKMaxx really afford to throw away loyal customers in this way.
Verweigern Rücknahme aus fadenscheinigen Gründen. Grenzt an gewerbsmäßigen Betrug.
Be careful: that ‘treasure’ you think you’ve found may not be what it seems. I was in the market for a rug and noticed TKMaxx had a beautiful Afghan rug for sale at £400 off the full price of £900. I placed the order and was looking forward to receiving my treasure. However, what I was sent was a completely different rug - different colour and an inferior pattern. I was absolutely gutted. I emailed Customer Services and they advised the rug I actually ordered was out of stock. Not sure why it was still listed for sale though. They advised I return the rug to my nearest store for a refund. The really annoying thing is that I paid for the rug using an e-Giftcard, as my employer has a scheme offering a modest discount at various high street stores. And of course the refund will go back to the original payment method only. That means I’m left with a high value gift card that I can only spend at TKMaxx - on items that may not be as advertised and may or may not be in stock. All I can do now is somehow try and take this ugly large and heavy rug back to my local store for the refund. I wish I hadn’t shopped at TKMaxx. All they had to do was supply what was advertised, and they failed! It turned into a hassle and inconvenience. To be fair, ‘Harmony’ the Customer Services advisor did reply to my emails quickly. Bottom line: proceed with caution when buying at TKMaxx, especially on big ticket items. I’ll be shopping elsewhere next time…after I’ve finished wasting £s on the Giftcard…

Mar 02,2024SCAMMERS!AVOID!!!!I have order a hoodie for £179.99 and I have received a baby jacket of £14.99.I have contacted Customer Service straight away(Reference CS9707048),sent them pictures with the item that I have received. In the same day I went to my nearest store and spoke to the manager in there, she could clearly see that I have received the wrong product but she told me I have to write them email ,she could not do refund (I wanted the product if still in stock ).I have waiting for them to contact me about this but SURPRISE I had to call customer service again to see what is going on.The lady on the phone was extremely rude !She said I have to contact my bank because from the warehouse the correct item has been sent(I have sent the pictures with the wrong item received). So it is their fault but I have to deal with the problem.I already opened a case on my PayPal,I will also report to the police so they have to proof and show the images from their warehouse as the correct item has been sent (I need my money back!) Never ever again from them
