I have shopped at tkmaxx Brent cross and Kew for quite some time. The staff are generally courteous but not very engaging or helpful. I recently made an online order which went terribly wrong. I was sent a box full of various shoes instead of the items I had ordered and actually looked to far exceed the value of my order. Store staff were unhelpful in brent cross and in ealing. Quite rude actually. Also quite strange how there's never a manager or supervisor available when you need help. I was eventually given a contact number for customer services who arranged a collection within a couple of days and offered a gift card as a goodwill gesture. The customer service representative was a pleasure to speak to. Hopefully the refund will be prompt. Based on my experience so far I would order again just because the customer service is so good if anything goes wrong.
Bought a bath matt which then stained and ruined my brand new bathroom flooring. Customer service offered me a £15 voucher (wow), then when I pushed they said I had to get 2 quotes from cleaning companies, even though it was very clearly not removable. Had to go through the hassle of this after just moving house. Then they said they wanted 2 fitting quotes for the new floor (was next to impossible to organise companies who would give me a written quote - we tried for weeks) and wanted the receipt for the flooring, even after I said I didn't have it as the person selling the house to us flipped it before the sale so we don't have them. It just seemed so much hassle and so unlikely they would even pay out that I gave up and now have a gorgeous (not!) dark blue square in the middle of my bathroom. Awful customer service for such a big company over what, £200? Which is a lot to us after moving, but nothing to you.
Went into Truro today. We bought what we thought was a box set of files with bird design. When we got to the till the girl said they are separate prices and showed us the prices on the backs of the other boxes. She went on to say there is a notice up stating that some product sets have separate prices. We bought the larger box and on the way home went to look for these notices and couldn't see them anywhere. It would be nice if the people on the tills didn't make you feel as if you were pulling a fast one and trying to get the others for free which we wouldn't do anyway!
I visited the store in Cwmbran. It was well organised and set out . The staff were great especially Coleen who was on the till.
Visited a very busy TK max in leamington Spa, surprisingly tidy and shelfs full considering the business, a young lady called Dan helped me out, politely showing me the homeware i needed and gave great advice, seems a credit to the company. good selection of products, and found some great bargains
I found staff polite and tolerant. I spend ages brousing in the shop they made me feel welcome, especially Antzela ,on the tikimaxx Retail Park, Thurrock Retail Park, RM203LP, always greets me with a smile and always makes the time to make sure I'm a happy customer, as I am every week bying on tikimaxx. Barbara, is always helpful and kind.Joanna as well the best girls ever. Overall very happy with the service. Thank you . Genta.
Tkmaxx in shopping centre in Milton Keynes! Very bad experience by till but only from foreign workers! Why they can't be nice like English people are? It's so sad and frustrating! I spend there loads of money but now I'm going to avoid this place. Will go to Bletchley where service nice and professional
Tk maxx, kocht er behoorlijk veel kleding. Denk wel 500 euro per maand. Ben nu een jaar niet meer geweest omdat 20 minuten voor sluitingstijd mij werd verteld dat ik niet meer kon passen in de kleedkamer. Dit was in Apeldoorn.
I am giving 1star because one of the sale assistant, Bona her name, was serving today at the till, when was my turn she left serving and start to use her phone, Sooo unrespectful and rude. Is not the first time she does that. TKMAXX PLEASE CHECK YOUR STAFF....they should be more nice and friendly because from OUR money they GET PAY
Be careful, they only have a 28 day return policy rather than 30 days, which I have been caught out on. Having been ill I took an item back on 30 days and was flatly refused a refund, not even a credit note. This was despite travelling 30 minutes to the store, then queuing up for a further 15 minutes and my wife in the progress of buying numerous further items. Was told to contact customer for an override. Contacted customer services who couldn’t have cared less, apparently it was a shop decision and they couldn’t override it, would have been handy to know the day before. Wouldn’t have minded if it had been months and the item wasn’t still as good as new but apparently there’s no leeway!! Also agree that the online bot is useless and no doubt designed to frustrate and make you give up. Have spent a lot of money over the years at TK Maxx but that shall not longer be the case.
Double charged on a >£100 purchase in-store and unable to sort online as chat bot is useless. Can't contact anyone as I don't have an order number. Tried bypassing this with the chat bot and typed '00000000', was 'transferred to an agent', the agents were all unavailable, and the chat was ended. Absolutely useless. Impossible to find complaints process. Horrible business.
V.friendly staff in our Glasgow branch. Loads of nice clothes here.
Disappointed to find that when returning a Faulty pair of jeans purchased Online to my local Tkmaxx store for a refund that they would not refund the £4.99 p&p that i had paid to Tkmaxx to send me a Faulty item.
Literally the slowest delivery ever, bought Sunday, still not even dispatched ( Thursday) I purchased a product from China on Friday and I just got it!!!
After asking me on this site to email them about my order being given to someone who was not me and refusing to refund me, TKMAXX is not responding. I have contacted Trading Standards.
I have been thinking this thing such a long time until now to request TKMAXX if they can upgrade their tag price labels because they are very difficult to wash it off and a very sticky sticker. Leaving some marks even though after washing.
So you email me to say that I missed my chance to choose a reward, but you can’t email me before to remind, no? I’m sure I haven’t lost much, your rewards are a joke anyway. There were only 2 to choose from today. You really need to come up with something better or just leave it.
Almost always when I go into the Redditch store I find a bargain The shop is always clean and tidy Staff managerial and shop floor on the whole are courteous and helpful (the ladies who have been there for years are lovely and always to be found hard at it) therefore it’s a shame that there is a rude woman on checkouts who upsets the ambiance for me I was served today by a lovely lady called Hina thanks

Feb 14,2024I went to TKMaxx stores in Macclesfield, Cheadle & Stockport I wanted Red Puffer style man's coat they are shown on the website but I prefer to try before I buy. Not one of the stores had any in large only small & extra small I ask you who wears these sizes I doubt many. The staff aren't helpful at all, all I got was we only have whats on the rails and then they walk away.
