W październiku kupiłam płaszcz, który został założony trzy razy i oddałam do reklamacji, bo tak bardzo się zmechacił na całej powierzchni, że nie sposób nosić go dalej. Zmechacenia (a właściwie sieć kulek i skluszczeń włosia) są wszędzie, nawet na wewnętrznych częściach. Reklamacja została odrzucona! W ekspertyzie rzeczoznawcy zamieszczone jakieś ogólne formułki i brak jakiegokolwiek odniesienia do stanu reklamowanego płaszcza. Mam nieodparte wrażenie, że rzeczoznawca nie miał go wogóle w rękach! Nie wiem czy to taka polityka firmy, aby odrzucać wszystkie reklamacje? Płaszcz jest ewidentnym bublem uszytym w tkaniny, która się do tego celu po prostu nie nadaje. Jeśli wg regułek w ekspertyzie zacznę go wyczesywać, to po trzech - czterech takich zabiegach wyjdzie całkowicie włosie. Nie trzeba być ekspertem żeby to zauważyć. Jestem kilkunastoletnim klientem TK Maxx, lubię ten sklep i zostawiłam tam już spore kwoty, ale ignorancja w tak podstawowej sprawie jak uczciwe, a przede wszystkim rzetelne rozpatrzenie reklamacji powoduje, że przestanę w nim kupować. Będę oczywiście składać odwołanie, jeśli i to nie poskutkuje, kieruję sprawę na drogę sądową, bo nie mam najmniejszych wątpliwości, że reklamacja powinna być uznana. Jest to ewidentnie wada tkaniny niewidoczna w momencie zakupu i ta ekspertyza jest po prostu skandalem i brakiem szacunku dla klienta!
I bought earphones and didn't save a Bill so ok I could not return it. But next time I bought 2 Bluetooth earphones, and also don't work properly! Of course I will return them but I need time to come again and I am very disapointed with the quality.
Tk Maxx Thurmaston Leicester. Never have enough staff on tills. Staff aren’t even capable of talking and look generally miserable whenever you go in. It’s got worse, hence the review. Staff haven’t changed either. This is not a new problem!
The only reason i gave 1 point is because of the cashier Taphiri who was very helpful and genuinely polite The lady manager on the other hand was not up to the point and should learn the basics of running a store. I went to tottenham hale and purchase a pair of shoes for £10 when i asked for the same shoes but different size they advised me to go to tkmaxx Enfield and yes the shoes were there but the prices was more than double. When i showed the manager the receipt and even picture with the price she was dismissive and said that she will change the prices on Monday. Why would a manager wait until Monday if today is Saturday and there is a buyer who wants to take the same shoe that he initially paid £10 for? Very rude and unprofessional
I went to the Beckton store gallons reach The staff are not customer friendly at all, no please no thank you, looked very miserable have no customer service skills, as I got served by the assistant she did not acknowledge me no eye contact and wasn’t friendly that’s why most people shop online as you don’t have to be disappointed with bad service it’s like they are doing you a favour by serving you and all the staff were Eastern European apart one lady at the changing room area who was Jamaican and she was very nice and friendly TK Max need to re train their staff about good or great customer service skills
I've been to various TK Maxx stores and ordered loads via Click & Collect service. Never had a single problem in TK Maxx in Oxford (city centre) - friendly and helpful staff, clean store, very quick and painless delivery and returns. TK Maxx Enfield is a different story. First of all, the store is extremely dirty and untidy. I know, it's mostly customers' fault as this particular TK Maxx is attended by 'interesting' individuals with no societal or cultural values. Secondly, had a problem with a refund and the staff were unwilling to help. They were rude and didn't put any minimal effort to help me. Which naturally leads to the third point, always unhelpful, grumpy and rude cashiers. No 'Hi', 'Thank you' or any other minimal politeness effort. And finally, they are extremely slow at processing the click & collect orders. My TK Maxx online account shows the order as delivered to the store but they don't bother to process it and send me a notification to collect my order. My overall TK Maxx experience isn't bad but TK Maxx Enfield drags the rating down. Don't shop there people.
BOUSHRA the balham manager "apparently" refused to refund me for an item I bought within 24 hours! Ive just had a baby so tried on an item at home, brought it back next morning. Then have Boushra telling me that although the label is attached another label which was clipped on by a safety pin was in the wrong position?! She then proceeded to turn over the receipt telling me I should check the terms and conditions. Absolutely absurd! She told me this is apparently common knowledge for buyers to know?! I have a newborn baby in a sling on me, never imagined I would have to justify returning an item I JUST bought! And with labels all attachmented! So shocked by how rude this woman was to me! Surely she should not be putting items like this out to buy in the first place! She took my bag off me as well, paid 30p for that, didnt refund it and didnt let me have it back!
Experienced very poor customer service yesterday at TK Maxx Bentley Bridge. Had to return 3 matching bathroom items (soap dispenser stopped working). They agreed to refund the one item but not the other 2 because they had been used (actually only 1 had). We tried explaining that having 2 items was not an option because any soap dispenser we purchased wouldn’t match. The manager we spoke to was absolutely disinterested. TK Maxx wont miss our business but they should reconsider their approach to customer service.
I brought jewellery from TKMaxx for Christmas present. I open the box and it had mould inside. So dangerous and so embarrassing to sell this type of product. I wish I could attach pictures. Hopefully I get my money back.
1 star for TKmaxx online order of jewellery: I ordered earrings in white gold with diamonds, paid for next day delivery. The item came completely different to how it was described and pictured on the website. Furthermore the attached tag is with strange information: the earrings are in white gold and were supposed to be in 14ct gold, but the tag is from the earrings in 10ct yellow gold with a different price… I tried to chat with Customer Service, but all of the agents are not available for 2 days already… Update: The response from Customer Service came on the 2nd day, after sending them all the asked photos and information my return was confirmed, Christina was very polite and helpful and provided me with all the instructions on how to return the item which is nonreturnable according to the TKmaxx Return Policy. Thank you Christina. My issue was resolved quickly.
I purchased diamond and topaz earings for my wife for Valentine's Day. I bought then on click on collect, and I opened the box in my car and could see instantly they were nothing like the photo online. Reduced from £865 to £179 and then £144, I thought they should be a bargain.... wrong! They looked like they came out of a Christmas cracker. I would not dare show, let alone give them to my wife. They were left in the zip lock bags, untouched, but with a policy on no returns on earings, which, being a man, I missed, I now have wasted money I could well have done with, especially as I am a 72 year old pensioner. I spoke to customer services but though they were pleasant and polite could not offer any solution. I email as reqested to be told exactly what they said in store. Its one thing to say 'let's look into this' something else when they are only saying it to look responsive on Trustpilot! Thanks for nothing. I know it doesn’t matter to them, and they wont miss my business, but for me I wont be shopping there again.
TK Maxx are the first company I have ever experienced who make it utterly impossible to create an account with them. There is no 'create an account' facility on their website, or explanations on the site as to how to create one. Google eventually provides the information that you should be able to create one at checkout - via a Reddit thread. On the same day I placed my first order with TK Maxx online I also placed my first ever order with HMV online. At HMV you only need to spend £20 for free postage, at TK Maxx it is £100 - I received the delivery of the HMV order two hours before I even received the dispatch notification from TK Maxx. For an order of 5 times less value HMV made me feel far more valued as a customer. I did manage to create an account with TK Maxx in the end at checkout. I am now totally unable to access that account however because it is failing to recognize my password even though I am entering it correctly. I've used their password reset link 10 times and still not received an e mail. I messaged TK Maxx customer service about this, and after telling them it wasn't in my spam folder was told to check my spam folder. My overriding feeling after shopping with TK Maxx online is that they don't really want my custom, and certainly don't want my repeat custom. If I do inconvenience them by wanting to order online I'd better pay them enough to make it worth their while, or I can stop being lazy and get my stuff in store rather than delivered to my door. Careful about posting anything negative on here though, coz you'll just get a superficial glib response which in no way addresses the problems raised by the reviews. What a superficial bunch of manipulators.
I've been to TK Maxx many times and while some product lines are better than others, overall, the quality of stock is quite poor. (Although staff have said they only stock items of high quality.) The truth is I've purchased 10 items (at least) in the last 1 1/2 years that had substantial flaws - discovered before or just after use from homewares, pet toys, dog beds, cushions, bathroom accessories, pots, Xmas items and clothing...which is very poor quality. Internal quality control is a must before stacking shelves. While they attempt to have a slightly different 'look' to other retailers, it simply isn't enough. Some interesting stock, but disappointing overall. The last unhappy experience was Xmas 2023 when I had to repair a gift I'd purchased.
called into the Hartlepool store, and bought a lovely biscuit-making kit to make with my grandsons, a lovely lady called Marie at the till explained it had the wrong ticket and took time to give me the correct price, she is a credit to the store

On a recent trip to tkmax blanchardstown we were fortunate to be served by kamil, he was so friendly and personable.he explained all about the rewards card but more than this he made us both feel like we knew him for years and could ask him anything. A strong member of the tkmaxx sales team such as kamil should always be cherished and I look forward to crossing paths with him again
I recently purchase an online order. Immediately I realised the delivery address has picked up my previous address. Without any delay, I called for customer service and just in time for them to knock off work which is 5pm. They shut at 5pm therefore I’m unable to speak with anyone and left an email but till to date, no response since they said within 7 working days reply!!! I also read that no refund or cancel is allowed once order placed. Absurd!!! Being connected the next day and I was told they can’t do anything. Following the next day I called again and raise my concern and shockingly she hung up my phone before I could finished my conversation though I'd like to discuss remedy. How rude and unethical and not fit to be as customer advisor. Sacked I would 👀embarrassing and utterly disgusting treatment. I called again which is 3rd attempt and then a guy picked up and I explained the situation and he patiently apologise on behalf of his colleague hung up on me and proceed to check further. Again, they aren’t able to do anything and if I missed the delivery means I will loose what I paid for. I was then advise to wait for an email dispatched so I can amend the delivery address. That has no guarantee at all if I missed my email. Can’t sit there and waited everyday 24/7 even though. The second customer support told me to wait till they arrived and send them back. How can you send them back if the address is incorrect? She even mentioned that apologies and there’s no other way to amend my orders. I realised my mistake/error I’ve made without prejudice. Shame and what kind of customer service TKMAXX have being their online customer. IS THIS HOW YOU DEAL WITH YOUR CUSTOMER??? For all shoppers, please be careful and it is not acceptable at all for the ignorance. They have no control over errors made unconsciously though you spotted right after order is placed. Beware!!! Reply to Harmony, I have rung 4x and what is the counter measure? No response and it seems the response to all reviewers are the same. Copy and paste. We need solutions not just writing. Till to date I have no reply whatsoever from customer service email!!!
I asked for a refund on a sweatshirt in the Shrewsbury store. It was a Shok vintage effect top - made to look as if it has been worn. I was accused of wearing and washing the shirt even though the paper label was still attached. I had to fight very hard to convince the staff to refund- I think they need to be trained in the different types of garments that they sell - vintage look means it looks like it’s a very old well worn garment!
The service at Croydon purley way branch is absolutely shocking. Why is there only 1 person serving at the jewellery section? All I wanted to buy is a perfume without any fuss yet I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to open a glass cabinet!!!!!! Your other stores are fine, but croydon purley way branch is awful even my gf experienced the same service just before Christmas. I have been a loyal customer for years and to experience this has put me off going there again. You should be putting your customers first, how would you like if you waited 20 minutes just to simply take something to the till and pay for it.
