I'm shocked the reviews for TK maxx are soo bad. I only really shop at the Telford store buts it's always been great. The products have been fit for purpose. The staff friendly and helpful. Apart from groceries and furniture (because to be honest I think the furniture can be a bit pricey) I don't shop anywhere else. I have never known an item to be fake, and I have had experiences with fake items on eBay and the like but I have always found t k maxx to come through. Sorry to hear so many have had such negative experiences in my favourite shop of all time
For the third time now I have ordered clothes online and when arrived paper work is correct to what I ordered, description size etc on price label but item wrong size and no longer available in the size I originally ordered. Complain to TK Maxx only to receive a generic email from customer services. Appalling service will not be using again. Mr.L.Heeney
I have visited the TK Maxx Boston UK branch on 8th of December 2023 around 5:30pm. I was accompanied with my daughters 15 years and 17 years old. After I have selected some winter wear stuff and few ladies’ makeup items, I went for payment. When I reached the counter to pay, a man with baldhead demanded from me the ID for my daughters. I replied to him that my daughters are not buying anything and I am buying all the stuff. He clearly refused to sell me the ladies makeup boxes because they have scissors in it. On asking he just replied it is the store policy. I left those items and bought the knit wear. Later on, I went back alone to buy the boxes again then the staff not only refused to sell me the items also they behaved very rudely and they were very intimidating. The discrimination and racism, I encountered was shameful. I did explain to them I am a medical doctor by profession but they didn’t seem to believe me and assumed that I am lying to them. Anyway, when the store manager came and just shouted “No” on my face I had to leave. This was my last visit to the local TK Maxx Boston store. Shame to all those three personals who disrespected and harassed me in front of all other customers. Since this incidence I am having sleepless nights and I can’t forget the big face of the manger shouting on my face. I fear this has caused me severe mental trauma. I think people should avoid using this racist store and even if someone decides to visit then never take your children with you. I hope this incident will help people to learn about the bad customer service is being provided at the TK Max stores. I think the administration have to really work hard in training the staff to avoid any disrespect to the customers
When will companies realise that their customers are not stupid?! Whenever a 5 star review appears with the first names of supposed excellent sales people, these are fake reviews. All the fake reviews mention sales people by name. Really too much of a coincidence. Shame on you
The survey I am trying to complete says wrong store,,,can’t get any further the stor is in Belfast fabulous girls helped me on the till I went in on 5th dec and today 7th ,,,Courtney and the other lovely lady Charlene were fantastic,,kind and considerate,,so sorry the silly survey wouldn’t accept I put correct stor in!!one bill said 0241 and second bill said0229 wouldn’t accept iether ,,, kind regards and keep up the good polite work girls ☘️🤩🤩
I bought a pair of tights thinking that they had plain black pattern but they turned out to have a retro diamonds pattern, but there was no sign of it on the packaging at all. I can't return it as I opened the packaging. Thank you!
TK Max Stadlau: wollte einen Artikel in Aktion kaufen - aber die Frau an der Kassa meinte unerwartet, dass der Preis nicht stimmt und hat uns einmal warten lassen bis Shop-Managerin gekommen ist. Die meinte auch sehr unfreundlich, dass das falsche Etikett von ihnen aufgeklebt wurde und Preis nicht stimmt und daher nicht gültig ist. War geschockt, wie mit Stammkunden umgegangen wird (es ging um einen Kinderartikel mit einer Differenz von €12). Kundenservice für selbst verursachte Fehler existiert nicht. Haben definitiv mich als regelmäßigen Kunden verloren!
An update on my dispute over dining room chairs I bought that were unfit for purpose. My credit card company has reimbursed me and told me that they will recoup the money from TKMAXX bank account. So good result - I’m reimbursed and TKMAXX are penalised, and apparently, if this happens too often, then TK could lose banking facilities - so COMPLAIN AWAY. 💪💪💪
I ordered an item to be delivered to the Sutton store. Tried to collect on my only day off but queue was out the door down the street (Saturday). My daughter went to collect for me today stood in the queue for 45 mins gave the order number and her photo id which has the same surname as me. No good had to be my photo id, I sent my NHS photo id, not good enough I sent my driving license id too blurry, I sent my driving license again finally good enough...... then told not the same person so cannot collect. Spoke to the manager on the phone who was so rude and unhelpful, I asked for her name refused to give it to me or my daughter and walked away. Manager I don't think so she needs to be retrained!! Never shop there again and would definitely NOT recommend, absolutely disgusting customer service.
I have always known their designer products are Fake, you can get better quality fakes at a better price in Bali. They claim to give out $200- gift cards weekly, just do a quick survey I tried they kept saying the 24.hr time format was incorrect, Which was a Lie. Their products clothing wise have gone down hill in a Huge way.
Wow. The level of service I received from a very kind and polite young man named Jordan in the men’s department of TK MAXX in Purley Way Croydon today was outstanding! Someone give this chap a raise and promotion ASAP! Something needs to be outstandingly good or bad in order for me to review it. Very fortunately, the level of service this young man gave was outstandingly good, rare and much appreciated. Thank you so much for going above and beyond to help me find a gift for my father. You’re a credit to both your parents and TK Maxx. What a breath of fresh air.
Getting more and more disappointed with this retailer now. I used to enjoy the experience of shopping with them at several locations but in the recent months I've had terrible experience with the local store in the town of Banbury. I will not return for sure! Had an item charged twice on two different occasions, only realised when I got home. Went back to sort it out and staff said they had to check camera for evidence, it was their mistake so I got the refund but no apologies for having caused their loyal customer having to make an extra trip, extra car parking cost and time etc....the most recent was the same error, I spent a couple £200 in store and an item was charged twice. Didn't realised until got home, called them and was told to bring everything back. So I did and again, no apologies were made. I also got a parking charge for overstay but I did not, just made 2 trips there because the poor customer service of their staff. The parking charge was a big lesson for my shopping at TKmaxx!
They sell fake products. Bought a Guess large suitcase from them only used once for a short trip and I am not able to use it anymore. I bought this for my birthday cost over £100 you would hope to travel with it for a few times at least. I emailed them send the the pictures the zip came of and the leather is loosing on many parts of the suitcase. They only replied to me that this is normal wear and tear and they can't give me refund. I can't imagine this is real guess product because there quality is amazing so I asked for a certificate a proof that is original. Since that they don't reply to my emails... will not buy anything else form them. I can see now from the reviews that it happened similar experience with others too I feel very disappointed in this difficult situation when every penny counts.
Yesterday I was shopping at the cardiff city centre store, it was very busy and I was a bit overwhelmed. I forgot to take my receipt and one of the item at the till. Today I went back and asked for help to reprint the receipt and to find the missing item. Despite how busy the store was, Stacy and her team went above and beyond. Eventually Stacy managed to locate the receipt and refunded me for the missing item. I’m really grateful for the good and caring customer service that I received. Thank you Stacy, wish you and your team a wonderful Christmas.
Love TK Maxx. Love the staff and products. Hate the Treasure card and just threw it in the bin. I have had it years and the till staff are lovely and keep telling me I should use my card as lots of free gifts. So I did. I cannot find my password after wasting a full hour of my life trying allsorts you really should consider people who are old, eyesight not too good and technology not easy. It really pees me off.
Never dispatched with 3 days. You have make sure that you do not order for wedding or important event . They don’t dispatch order within 3 days and you can not be sure what you are going get. Old or new, second or genuine clothes or it fits you or not. Whenever I order French designer clothes or shoes, they do not fit at all - too narrow or to tight . Be careful do not order unless you have time to return or exchange them. I prefer to go to their stores and buy . These days they do not put gold label items in many of their stores.
Was sold a fake jacket with a fake name that doesn't exist anywhere but tkmaxx the name was selezione grigio jacket for £250rrp sold for £70 this brand does not exist! No where on Google no where in the world not even Italy where it was apparently made!?. This is ILLEGAL!. I took the jacket back which they very begrudgingly took back but was not issued an apology or told one but was asked to leave the store by security, Yes!! Because I made a complaint and was aloud no names to complain too!? What you will know now is that I recorded for personal reasons the whole scenario and sending a copy to TJX companies. Tbc!.
Ich kaufe normalerweise sehr gern im TK Maxx, bis heute. Die Mitarbeiterin bei der Kasse (Hamburg-Eppendorf) war sehr arrogant und unfreundlich.
TK maxx is basically like a giant jumble sale, had my eye on a Harry brown overcoat, around £80, didn't come down in the sales, great coat spoiled by a wonky collar, I will be taking it back today, this winds me right up.

Dec 13,2023@TK Max I never leave bad reviews but in this case I feel that I need to so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Do not buy gift cards as a present this year with TK Max and loose your hard earned money as I did. I purchased one in Nov and when the recipient went to use it was told there was a zero balance on the card. When queried with TK Max they said the card was used 5/6 days previously and the serial no was keyed (not scanned) in by a staff member and they won’t accept that this could have just been a human error and funds taken from the wrong card. I am so embarrassed to have gifted a card with a zero balance is an understatement and to make it worse they are refusing to investigate it further, they told me to go to the guards to get them to investigate it. This would be a waste of tax payers money for €50. Also this was NOT a physical gift card it was an e gift card.
