Generally very pleased with system & supply. Have two properties connected to Tonik. However the most recent property addition - since early 2020, has not yet had a statement produced even though monthly readings are supplied (and payments made)!

After conversation about my rise in monthly payments it was lowered to a mor appropriate level.
Can’t read my smart meters very poor. Misleading said they could.

Over the last year trying to access web services as been chronic but has been better lately.
Our fixed rate service was due to expire, Tonik sent us different services they were offering, compared the prices with on line comparison sites. Tonik was offering best price for product. All done on line within 5 minutes, no hassle, no sales calls. Quick, essy and self explanitory. Recommend Tonik to anyone.
After the Death of my wife in December 2019, dealing with Tonik to make changes to the account (removing my wife as a contact) was a painful and slow experience and took at least 6 months (taking into account the Covid19 situation) it shouldn't have been. Once the death certificate was requested and provided, this should have been very easy to just change the customer profile. We had to close the account and create a new one! its the address that you are providing power to not the person! Smarten up your system please, and take this very unnecessary pain away PLEASE
Don't change to tonik, my electric went over in April but still no gas, currently paying the full DD amount as well as my old supplier and my requested refund hasn't happened. Made 2 complaints but no response from either.
I am no longer with tonik energy but that didn't stop them taking £60 odd out of my account . Be careful people . Ps Tonik please give me my money back
Tonik have always been very good with email reminders about meter reads and answer any queries I have quickly. I switched 2 years ago from on of the big energy providers after an awful customer experience, Tonik are quite the opposite. Always very friendly over the phone and great price in comparison. All with renewable energy, what’s not to like about that?
This might be a bit of a lacklustre review but all I can say about moving to Tonik about a year ago is to say that nothing has gone wrong. Their prices are reasonably competitive, their comms are clear, website is easy to use, prices are reasonably competitive (tho there's not that much in it when comparing providers), and I like their green credentials. I've signed up with them for another year.
During March to end July I had no up to date balance.Whilst I appreciate we were in lockdown and people were working from home from talking to friends other energy providers kept their customers up to date.Otherwise very happy.
Great to be able to have green energy at affordable prices. The downside is that none of the phone lines ever seem to be connected. Have tried numerous times to contact them and not once been able to get through.

The advisors at Tonik are always helpful and polite. They helped me sort out the best tariff for me when I renewed.
I tried to contact during the summer to say I was moving. No luck. Eventually I got through in early Sept I think it was and was told if I switched to another tariff there would be no exit fee as I was moving. I had hoped to continue with Tonik when moved, but there is an odd situation with pay as you go meters, so it seems I have to stay with SSE initially. I was promised a call back or e-mail. Nothing came and since then I have called several times more and twice been promised someone would call me back or send an e-mail. I have e-mailed too. I've heard absolutely nothing from you. This has caused extra stress at an already stressful time. Now I would think twice about using Tonik when I can switch due to such poor customer service.

Sep 25,2020I have no problem with Tonik Energy, I been with them for a couple of years now & during this period all has been well. If you need to speak to them they are easy to contact f helpful on the phone. Their prices seem good, direct debit is taken on time & taking meter readings & sending them in is very straightforward & easy. I have just Happily agreed to a New contract for the coming year.
