Totally messed up transfer of dual fuel from my old supplier. Then loads of repeat emails asking for a reviewing how they did - so here is my review. In over 35 years of paying for my own gas & electricity and annually changing supplier for the last 10+ years, this is the first company to mess things up. In addition after SIX months things are still unresolved! My advice to prospective customers; DON’T. My advice to Tonik; Spend MORE time ensuring that your customer accounts are set up and running correctly and LESS time with self indulgent back slapping exercises. Maybe redeploy marketing personnel into customer services...
Had no problems, easy to use & reasonable.
My experience has been good, particularly over pricing.
Competitive pricing however delay in responding to queries can be frustrating but understandable under the current circumstances.

This last year involved several lengthy conversations with Tonik staff over my account. This was associated with the new IT system updates. At a stressful time it only created extra stress. Eventually the issues were sorted but the issues could have been avoided in the first place with far better communication on Tonik's part. Hopefully this next year will be better and the same as previous years.

Received terrible service on the phone, long periods on hold and the line disconnected while speaking to unhelpful staff member. Got an email forcing me into a tarriff that’s more than double the current one due to issues with their system accepting my readings. Oh and they just blocked my switch to another company!
Please, please, please, do not switch to this company unless you want to spend hour upon hour, week after week, trying to sort out the mess that they make whilst getting no response. I’ve involved the ombudsman service who broke my complaint down into six specific complaints and upheld them all. They were ordered to pay me compensation. They put it on my account, and although I’ve since switched away, they say they haven’t had an opening reading from my new supplier. Guess what? My new supplier sent evidence to me that they supplied the reading to the regulator on 25 August and it was approved on 27 August. Here we are a month later, with Tonik saying they will have to estimate my reading for their final bill. So they’ll turn my £100 credit into me owing them £200 with their lies. Look down this thread. It’s littered with people having the same experience. Truly the very worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. Crooks, liars, rogues, charlatans. The dodgiest of the dodgy.
This is the worst company I ever be with do not trust them I waited for 6 months for a statement which never come I was in credit in July by £16 then I left them on the 18th July then just got a letter saying I owe them £158 in September with NO meter reading KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
I have been with Tonic Energy for a couple of years now and I have had no problems at all. So far so good.
Terrible customer service. I switched to a cheaper company in March 2020 and paid the last invoice as I left. 6 months and a house move later, I was sent another bill for ~£50 out of the blue. I queried it by phone and was promised a call. Nothing. I was sent a final warning for non payment. I queried it again, in writing, and again nothing. Tried to contact them on twitter, but they've abandoned it. Raised a complaint on their website. Nothing. Got an email two weeks ago to say someone would call me first thing on Monday. Needless to say, that call didn't happen. Spent half an hour on hold with them today before I gave up any hope of getting hold of someone. Do not recommend them.
