applied for credit through V12 finance( which i have just finished a 3yr finance agreement ) who use Callcredit and was told i was a risk and declined, i have never missed a D/D of S/O payment in my life, which includes a 30yr mortgage and a 30yr secured loan, both paid in full, because of circumstances out of my control, a car loan fell behind, which was fully explained to the lender, i was declined finance and told i was a risk
This is by far and away the absolute WORST company that I have ever dealt with. How can they be regulated by the FCA when their company acts in such a criminal capacity is frankly beyond all reason. The latest scam they are trying to get me to do is paying for their Noddle Improve. On the pretext that I buy it they will increase my score! How can this possibly be legal? This is absolutely abhorent and the fact that are playing with peoples very personal financial data simply beggars belief. The FCA don't want to know and they push you to the ICO, the ICO stumble over it not knowing what to do and then the FOS sit there and they have not got a clue either. Look the FCA is responsible and they need to get this dealt with and REMOVE their licence to practice this is quite simply the ONLY way to end the misery for countless thousands of people. There needs to be mass media intervention to hold these bunch a scam artists to public accounatbility. If the national media got involved there would be a groundswell of anger towards this truly vile company that the FCA would be forced to act. I have never, NOT EVER, come across anything like this. Why is it that Experian and Equifax can act legally and lawfully yet these criminals have a licence to act from the FCA and they are not held accountable? They need shutting down FAST.
Terribly poor service Callcredit are showing a loan with near on £1000 balance on my account that was settled years ago. I have raised a dispute and nothing has been done. I spoke to the loan company and they say they had recently received the query from Callcredit/TransUnion and confirmed with them that the account had a zero balance. To date this is still showing a debt outstanding. Emails are being ignored as well. I would give 0 star if possible.
I have recently raised 20 plus corrections for this terrible credit reference agency. To all reading these reviews please email the information commissioner with your concerns as this credit reference agency has cost me my job. I have all my siblings credit cards and mortgages and all financial affairs linked to my name including addresses where I have never lived or used. I even have a house which I didn't purchase on my report. The worst one of them all is call credit/noddle. Terrible service and beware of them. Email your complaints to them. Not worth using. I woudlnt rate them 1 star if i could. Next step for me will be the local press and national.
I had received a bad credit score as a result of account takeover fraud. The company concerned had allowed a fraudster to access a dormant credit card, change my address, order a new card and then do a test transaction which then became an outstanding debt against me, The company were then giving me the run around and lying to me about what they were doing and what was happening. It was taking so long to sort out and I did at first believe them when they said Callcredit/Transunion were to blame. I was then contacted by Gemma (sorry don't know her surname) from Callcredit, despite me being very abrupt and angry she remained calm, she was very understanding and extremely helpful. It transpired that the credit card company had not been doing what they should have (they finally admitted this) but Gemma advised me and helped me to sort it all out. She personally spoke to them, emailed them and followed up on correspondence extremely quickly. She kept in contact with me, keeping me updated and keeping me sane, completely ignoring the fact that I had started off as the customer from Hell. I honestly can't praise her enough, she even contacted me this morning to confirm my credit score has been restored and she had personally checked it was now all ok.
Great service and knowledge from Nicole Kelly, she made the whole process simple and I'd recommend her to anyone.
Call Credit solved the problem efficiently and promptly and with a very satisfactory outcome - just what i wanted. Thank you

Astonishly bad service. I'm helping a Spanish friend who has lived and worked fulltime in the UK for several years, never been in debt or had a credit card, pays a fortune in tax and yet cannot even get a mobile phone contract as there is an unknown problem with his credit rating. He filled in all the Callcredit forms and provided a lot of additional information. They completely ignored it and sent a generic letter requesting things he'd already said he couldn't provide. They provided a customer service number but when we called it had been changed. That was annoying as they only sent the letter a couple of weeks ago with a wrong number - but not a big issue. When we called 0330 024 7574, their new customer service number as advised on their recorded message it goes straight to a seven item menu. But ..... it doesn't matter which number you press or for which service, all that happens is that it takes you straight back to the same menue .... over and over and over again. They have actually made it impossible to speak with anyone at their company about any subject.
Just Realised someone elses with a similar name has their bad credit showing on my credit file affecting my credit! Potentially breaching GDPR??!!
Slow to update, quick to downgrade. Monumentally different scoring criteria compared to Equifax and Experian. Off shore call centres poor response time and generic answers to their obvious mistakes. Going to complain to Financial Ombudsman. Like dealing with robots but sadly this impacts humans. Sound bite meaningless response. Comparables used already, hence review, stand by original review
Noddle added a strangers financial and personal details on my wife's account which ruined her above excellent credit score due to which bank reduced her credit card limit from several thousands down to under 500 and also caused two uneccessary credit check in single day. Noddle isnt sorting it now I'm planning to contact FCA. Beware Noddle/Callcredit may give your details to strangers.

Awful company, broken process's unless the resulting process is for each department to be without any responsibility and power to rectify problems. Noddle is an absolute joke and great example of above, don't reply to email's - send out letters with information that contradicts the data they hold. As an example my bank had wrongly assigned a default, they were amazing in making the changes - Equifax and Experian updated instantly. 2 months in callCredit - still cant find the update and have informed me once its removed i will have to spend time building up my credit rating even though it was a mistake ??? .... and obviously no one is in control of this - what sensible algorithm would work like this,
They desperately need closing down.... For me - shocking....They actually admitted to failing their own security procedures to me in an email and openly gave a fraudster/fraudsters access to my credit file from which they claimed was a "Significant Proportion" of information. I can assure it was basic, 3 very basic things! They failed to do checks - well they did - judging by them searching my Equifax around the same date and 13 times since.....all now deleted funnily enough, but clearly didn't take any notice of it. Subsequently, fraudsters ran rife once they had my identity and access to Call Credit, together with it's credit applications bit Noddle/Totally Money. 12 months on, still trying to sort it and guess what ?!!! After 3 requests of asking them and providing evidence it is the real me and to give the real me access to what they hold on me... I am no further forward, in fact two weeks since last email and two chasers to Customer Service lady finally replied but not as to why they cant or won't give me access to my file and what data they hold on me, but to say they have nothing else to add and will no longer respond and go to the Financial Ombudsmen. I can only presume my file is in a bit of mess as they let someone have my data and went for a load of credit in my name and don't want me to see it - or cant unlock / grant a new one once its been accessed ???....... Stay well clear of these jokers, do not subscribe or pay them a penny. They are not fit for purpose - reviews before mine will clearly back this up ! They act nothing like Equifax and CreditExpert - who are professional and reply. UPDATED - Below is the reply to this review, another example of the incompetence you have to deal with. You are welcome to contact us customer services etc.... The last reply from them to me: "We have nothing further to add to our previous correspondence, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, free of charge – but you must do so within six months of the date of this email. If you do not refer your complaint in time, the Ombudsman will not have our permission to consider your complaint and so will only be able to do so in very limited circumstances. Please note we will not enter into any further correspondence unless requested to do so by the Financial Ombudsman Service"
Bad company after trying for credit through my bank to which i already have a loan and large credit history. this company has just held me back, i'm reluctant into calling them to fix anything due to the enormous trouble people have had based on this review site. whether this company is complete b/s or a scam to reduce people overall credit file i don't know but something not right is going on. i have overall a great history everything paid and displayed as it were but for some reason or another i don't have a history with this company. maybe its time to pass the torch over to a more conventional and well equipped company. very bad form callcredit. As a credit history file collector with HIGH standards apparently your not doing very well are you?! I believe this company should come under scrutiny from the British government and all lenders alike. these corporate a**hats couldn't piece together a jigsaw puzzle if it was already glued together for them. I do not recommend any company to use these idiots nor rely upon their cloak and dagger routines. very dismissive and misleading customer service which leaves a bitter aftertaste. *update to reply* I'd rather just boycott you.
I am so frustrated by this company. I had passed all the interviews will a job at Lloyds bank. Then was told I failed the credit check. I done a lot of phone calls and meetings with the bank for the supposedly defaulted account to find out it was an error on there side I have since dealt with the bank which I can say have been great they have removed it from experian and the other ones. Except call credit is still showing on my file. I have contacted them.sereral times to get th is sorted with no help what's so ever. I can not go for any other job still this is fixed. PLEASE PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME.
Personal Data Breach! Data Protection Breach! Joined them because I had my overdraft taken off me and was told something had happened to change my credit rating, so I joined Noddle to see what was going on, I knew I was in the top 5% in the country and my credit rating was excellent as I check it regularly through Experian and clearscore, IT TURNS OUT THEY HAVE ME MIXED UP WITH SOMEONE WITH THE SAME NAME! So now I have to go through emails and up to 3 weeks wait before it will be corrected and meanwhile, I have lost my overdraft until Noddle send proof they have corrected their monumental mistake, amateurs is an understatement mistake's like this should be corrected immediately not within 3 weeks! SO I CAN NOW LOG IN AND LOOK AT SOMEONE ELSE'S HISTORY ADDRESSES, DEBT'S-EVERYTHING! until they correct it- quite unbelievable! How bad is that, utter shambles of a company. I received a reply stating they would correct it within 3-5 days, wow- the damage has been done and that's not good enough knowing what a momentous error you have made! Experian and Clearscore didn't make the same error as you made so you have no excuse, you obviously don't know what you are doing and are out of your depth collecting data about people's private lives, you should be closed down!

Mar 06,2019I am going to make, EXPOSING TransUnion (formally Callcredit) a lifelong project, as they have ruined my career due to incorrect information being applied to their non consumer credit report, a paid for service by organisations who wish to perform screening on potential employees/contractors. I lost out on a lucrative contract with a prestigious organisation, because Callcredit/TransUnion didn't remove an annulled bankruptcy from their background checks and employee screening report. Which resulted in me failing screening and having to take a lesser role; as I couldn't afford not to be working. This is a strong warning for any organisation that is thinking of using Transunion's background checks and employee screening solution; the information presented may not be accurate and you could end up losing out on a great candidate, or being subject to court action yourself for discrimination. I am pursuing court action to try and retrieve some of my financial losses. TransUnion are a hideous organisation and have been taken to court many times in the USA due to a complete lack of care in reporting people's credit information; it's about time TransUnion were put through the same anguish and torment they are causing 'everyday people'. A message to the 'everyday person' check your reports regularly, and asked the credit reference agencies to provide you with ALL reports where your details are being published/sold. TransUnion, I look forward to seeing you in court !! UPDATE 15.04.19: No response from TransUnion (Callcredit); who managed to reply to the recent 'bogus' high star ratings! You should be focussing more on the consumers that you've upset, as we are the ones that will want retribution.
