Never missed a payment on anything but information from TransUnion has prevented me from using pay in 3 on PayPal for convenience. Have requested online a report to see why and they can't verify my identity. Appalling.
Couldn’t give one star, such a terrible company to deal with, they don not read nor understand the evidence Thatbis sent to them and are ridiculously slow to update the information. I’m close to moving banks away from Lloyds as they use Transunion. God knows why. Such poor service and very poor timeliness to update their own mistakes.
Everyone here who is dissatisfied has their own reasons, and I also join the group of dissatisfied people due to incompetence, lack of experience and a complete lack of professionalism - a sick institution based on some garbage fragments of information that is long outdated and not up to date. Big mess, that's how you can sum up this institution. The worst thing about all this is that there are no responsible people and it's a waste of time to talk to and do something.

This company is a joke and it is a shame high street banks are using them. I have 960 of 1000 with equifax, 970 out of 999 with experian therefore both excellent, but 555 out of 710 which mean it needs work, not even Fair. How can one explain this bear in mind all 3 agencies hold the exact same information. Can someone explain that to me? Contacted transunion several times only to hear nonsense!!! All the criteria they mentionned for a good score are ticked and yet my score has been the same for ages!!! Will refer the matter to ombudsman as I think this company is bias.
Well, The review score doesn't surprise me, I contacted them via email about the wrong credit limit on my credit record (it should of been higher), but they contacted me saying it's been unsuccessful????. How??? I've got the app saying my credit limit, WHAT INFORMATION ARE THEY LOOKING AT???, SORT YOUR HEADS OUT, They are saying in a sense your lying???
They have inputted the wrong information on my credit check. Called them 1+ month ago the lady was very helpful on the phone, however have emailed 3 times (as request by the phone call) for an update and nothing back. No help at all.. have left me unsure of what to do now as cannot move forward in my house build process!!! Very disappointed
Very untrustworthy. They stating false information. I wrote to them twice. No response.
I gave a two star rating only because the only person I dealt with via email was very polite. Beyond that, I cannot think of any other company that takes so long to update records and provides such horrible service. After a 2nd contact with them, I still haven’t heard anything. Still waiting weeks. I’m drafting a letter to the powers that be with my frustration. It’s disgraceful this company is performing so badly and no one wants to step in to help consumers.

For a year now Transunion have not rectified I am on the Electoral Role. In the past year emails have gone back and forth including confirmation from my council that I am on the electoral role and have been for over 20 years. Equifax and Experian show that I am and according to my council all credit report companies get the same information. Transunion have taken off a whole line of my address, which is where the problem is. They need to match! Someone at Transunion is inputting wrong details and this is shameful as it has affected my credit rating them, which in turn affects deals with car, home insurance and mortgage renewal. I'm contacting The Financial Ombudsman as this has gone on for exactly 1 year this month. Transunion have no diligence and just don't take this matter seriously. This is extremely stressful and wastes so much time trying to resolve.
Numerous details are incorrect, and I can't get anywhere when I try to get them fixed. You get the usual dismissive, generic response. I don't think they have a clue. Everyone else seems to have the same problem, judging from the terrible scores and experiences everyone's sharing across the internet.
They are so bad. They depreciate your credit score heavily but appreciate it slowly. It is very apparent that their main objective is to keep people perpetually on lower credit scores!!
I can get a credit report through Credit Karma and Experian, but TransUnion can't identify me. Beyond hopeless. Why does this organisation exist?
I have been trying to get through to Transunion. Impossible! The person who answered after 20 mins couldn't hear me. I tried again for over an hour; no dice! What is the point if being a credit agency if people can't get through to you to correct serious errors on their account. It's unbelievable! I wish that I didn't have to deal with this organisation. Totally abysmal!!
I have a perfect credit history and was turned down for no reason on an opportunity for a 3 stage payment plan with PayPal......you give PayPal a bad name
They've got an EE debt on my account when lve actually had an EE contract on my son's account for 7 years... every payment is up to date.. I've never had my own account with EE..l hqve never dealt with EE myself l have no reason to have one.. TransUnion refuse to take it off saying its right when it isnt they are building credit files with false information this company should be closed down immediately and their license taken away
Not Good very bad agency I pay 3 years monthly car insurance they didn't add on my credit report i already register to vote for last many years but in their system not Very bad experience Experian is much better and realible in my experience
This is one of the worst companies I've ever come across. I cannot believe it is being used as a credit reporting guru. On two occasions, I've sent them an email requesting my electoral address to be changed (including scans of confirmations from the councils)- they replied after 2 months (as if nothing happened) if I could send them the confirmation - when eventually updated it after months, they set the start date to a year after I moved into the new address (despite me asking them to enter the date right). Ignorant imbeciles - is there anywhere I can report them to be added to a blacklist?
