Transunion is like an old STD that you cannot get rid of, scammers comes to mind. After a rogue mortgage advisor insisted on me signing up to get my credit file 4 years ago, this scamming low life Company keeps trying to STEAL money off my debit card. AVOID THIS EASTERN EUROPEAN SCAM CENTRE.

My bank is now using TransUnion for credit file purposes. While reading their report i spotted an error so i made contact to try and get the error corrected. This was back in August. In December the company sent me an email saying they were investigating i could expect a response in 28 days. Well that didn't happen so made a complaint. My complaint was upheld and they accept they didn't act correctly when they received my complaint. However despite this the error that caused me to make contact with them remains unresolved .

Merged my account with someone of the same name so my credit rating plummeted. Have been trying for over 2 months to get it sorted and they suggest I contact all of the accounts myself rather than them sort out their mistake. Shambles and as all the other reviews zero customer service.

I was scammed by scammers a few months ago and then it affected my Cibil score when I explained it to Transunion they understood this and after their process they helped me completely and removed those faults from my Cibil. Thank you so much Transunion, you are amazing. Special thanks to Hedy, Tomy and everyone who I spoke to in Transunion as they were all so much helpful. Thank you United Kingdom.

Utterly useless Credit scoring system. NatWest Bank uses them, but their system doesn't work at all. I've had a credit card since the 1980s (never missed a payment), yet Transunion says I don't have a credit card. I've been on the electoral roll since the 80s, but Transunion thinks its been 18 months. Transunion complains that I only have accounts with two banks, as if that's bad (I don't understand this at all). It doesn't seem to know that I have an ISA with a 3rd bank. It says I don't have a mortgage (never missed a payment), yet I do. It says I don't have any loans, yet I do (never missed a payment). I have tried telling them, but they blame the banks, and my banks blames Transunion, so my credit score with them is rubbish and no one at Transunion will take responsibility. Credit scoring companies need an Ombudsman organisation to oversea these companies and ensure they are doing their jobs properly.

I don’t know why Halifax uses them.Costumer service does not exist,credit score is inaccurate all the time,they seem to be very dodgy and scammy.I started to doubt the are legal,

I have, ironically, an excellent credit rating with them but the evidence on which it is based is sooo flimsy. (1) I have paid the same water company for decades (though they tell me it's just 18 years) and (2) I pay off my credit card every month without fail. When I check my details I find that they never have the accurate balances for my various current accounts, even with the bank that provides me with access to Transunion. They show no interest in knowing what financial assets I may have, instead they encourage me to seek a greater credit card allowance, which I do not need. They are as woefully ignorant as were the credit rating companies that vouched for companies before the 2008 crash.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Transunion are the worst credit reference agency ever!! You dropped my credit score because I opened a new credit card, but 2 months later, you dropped my score again because you said I didn’t have any credit accounts. I disputed this, so you put my score back up, only to drop it again because you said yet again that I don’t have any credit accounts. However you do say in another part of my report that I’m utilising my available credit well. I am absolutely demented with having to constantly dispute the inaccurate information. The information you have is consistently wrong & it’s having a severe detrimental effect on my credit score & I will now be forced to go through the ombudsman to get these issues rectified, as you often don’t respond to my disputes. Experian & Equifax are able to get my information right, why can’t you? You have access via my Halifax Bank Account, but still you get it wrong. I have no idea why you are tasked with tracking Credit Scores for UK customers.

I raised a dispute on 28/09/23 regarding incorrect information on my credit report and despite stating resolution in 28 days, I have not received a response other than a confirmation email. My follow up emails aren’t responded to despite being encouraged to respond directly to the automated confirmation response. I have had confirmation from the business in question that the information should not be present, so the case would seem an easy one to resolve. I managed to get through to speak to someone on the phone and then received an email asking for more information. I responded with the required info and again have been ignored since. I am trying to apply for a mortgage and this information could have a negative impact and is causing a lot of unnecessary stress. Why would it take so long?! And why aren’t emails responded to?! Incorrect information can cause serious issues when applying for credit and should not take this long to resolve!

My credit report is inaccurate, it's near impossible to resolve anything with TransUnion. You get the usual, dismissive generic response. I don't think they have a clue. Everyone else seems to have the same problem.

They hold incorrect record of me which is negatively impacting my credit score. I contacted them and requested that they correct their record. They did nothing and put all the burden of proof on me. One month on, despite that I submitted the legal document they required they still have not done anything. Personally I would not choose to have anything to do with this horrible company. Unfortunately Lloyds, which I bank with, use their credit reports.

They have linked a Welsh water account with someone of a similar name to myself (different spelling) despite numerous appeals and Welsh Waters help they continue deny my appeal and it's ruined 15 years of hard work on my credit score as the person in question hasn't paid their bill for months

Absolutely terrible dishonest company providing incorrect data detrimental to those who use it. My credit score falls consistently for no reason . I have managed debt perfectly have credit card in regular use just like they suggest also on electoral roll. I do everything I can to improve this pathetic number yet these crooks just deduct point monthly for fun. My last point deducted was 50 point. Absolutely no change other than them decided my credit score is too good to let's ruin it

disgusting company!! has caused me so much stress just to get my credit score sorted. my twins information is on my credit history and has impacted my credit score massively as my score was above UK average before now it's below UK average because of your system errors. I have tried contacting you but this company is useless Equifax had sorted my information on the phone, however for this company to reply takes weeks on end.. shambolic!

Have witnessed active fraud attempts on my credit report. Riased a notice of correction request to add a password to protect my account, 8 weeks later it still hasn't been added. Phoned customer support and was told "it's being processed", nothing more they can do. Raised a complaint and told the response would be In 8 weeks. They sent a confirmation and then 4 weeks later they confirmed the complaint again, resetting the response time to 8 weeks again. Its now been over 2 months and heard nothing about my request or complaint. What an atrocious company in charge of our data.

I tried to get a statutory credit report from them as Nationwide who I banked with for 30 years will not increase my credit limit because of a credit report from TransUnion. I am trying to get a statutory credit report from them . To get this they are asking me for unnamed bank details going back nearly 20 years which I don't remember as security check. Their help contact just don't work. It's just that rubbish companies like this should be able to operate.

Same problem as other users transunion is the worst of all credit reference bureauxs they are down and out incompetent and I find their actions highly wrong they should be shut down Will be looking at esculating this issue

Transunion is the worst out of them all. They don't update accounts when they're closed they're left open yet other agencies report them to be closed. I hope their offices collapse because of their lack of professionalism.

Impossible to get TransUnion to update their records to show correct electoral registration information. I have tried serveral times and got nowhere.
