Worst customer service ever not even trying to make a claim just wanted to ask a couple questions no response no help hate to see what happened if I needed to file a claim
By far the worst experience your 3rd party warraty Akko is by far the worst of the worst!! Get maybe Bestbuy warranty is bit higher but wow is the best out there. Upsid is by far worst never doing any business with them and if you considering run… run very fast… dont do it… dont!!
Great helpful customer service on a claim for my LG Dryer. When I first made the claim I was surprised to find that UPSIE was no longer operating and that AKKO took over UPSIE'S business. One could understand my disappointment on hearing that news, but to my surprise may claim was accepted and handled in a pleasant and professional manner with an prompt appointment with a local repair company.
I have file claim 30 days ago and nothing and it took me forever to locate to to file with, seeing upsie has changed hands. I am going cancel. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY,
In the end,I decided to drop my claim and just upgrade my device which will cost me $500. They did approve my claim but then the only way they can pay me is through paypal, which is trash and still has that fine for misinformation or wrong thing or whatever, hate speech. I'm not out here hating on things but at the same time that's ridiculous for a payment processor to have that ridiculous rule in which they'll just go ahead and take $2,500 right out of your account. The other payout that they can do is Cash app which also is a bad deal and everybody should get rid of. Or tremendous, which I'm not going to sign up for anything just to get my phone fixed. So in the end, it was a giant waste of money.
I purchased a protection plan for my Peloton bike in February of 2020 from Upsie. Luckily I haven't needed to use it until now. I went online to file a claim, and received no additional information after that which I found odd. I received an email stating that Akko received my claim, but no claim number and no additional information provided. I then tried to find a phone number and come to find out that Upsie closed. I was never made aware of this, and I reached out to Akko, who informed me that they only took over the subscription coverage plans, not the warranty plan that I purchased outright. They suggested I check my inbox for an email from either Centricity or Fortegra, which I did and I do not have an email from either. I called both companies and neither has my plan. They searched using my phone number, email address and plan # that Upsie gave me, but no one has my plan. This is beyond upsetting. I read other reviews stating the same, and I even emailed the email address that Upsie responded with and of course I received no reply. Their website looks like they are still an active business and you can still purchase plans. Do not give this company your money!!!
This company apparently doesn't even exist anymore, yet it sure took my money and there's no way to contact them to stop payment!
Company cancelled my plan back in November. Now, they are charging me again. Everything I've read says they are out of business, so looks like execs are scamming previous customers because they have our credit card numbers.
Upsie website is easy to navigate, straight forward and customer friendly. I have used Upsie for the last 2-3 years and I have had no issues whatsoever with them. They are very cost effective and I highly recommend them to everyone.
Paid for their 2 year warranty on my 65" LG OLED TV. TV was not functioning properly so I filed a claim in November 2023. We ar enow in Feb 2024 and as ever follow up in the past, their answer is that they have submitted the claim to a "repair center" and the repair center will be reaching out to me. They say it is out of their hands now since the repair center has the work order from them to contact me, but they will not share the information of the repair center nor step up to cover replacement of the TV. Awful customer service and does not stand behind their product. STAY AWAY from Upsie period.
Don't answer email, phone number is disconnected. They still charged for a warranty but when I called phone number in the email, they said Upsie went out of business December 2023. However, they are still accepting payments with no way to cancel.

Trying to get claim status: Phone number no longer in service Does not respond to email I feel like they are no longer in business. Upsie was acquired by another company. They reached out to me regarding my open claims and took care of them right away. Moving to four stars.
Upsie seems to have stolen my money. I’ve tried filling a claim, then just canceling my plans. No response. I haven’t heard anything in months.
Has Upsie gone out of business? Bought a few policies thru them and no one answers the phone foe service and no one replies to email. Guess they got my money.

Had to file with the BBB. No response from them with my unrepairable claim
Trying to cancel my existing phone warranty and the web site is dead. Total waste of money. Good luck if you need anything from them.

Jan 26,2025Zero customer service and impossible to cancel recurring billing via their contact form (there is no interactive cancellation method on the site, just a jotform form to fill in). I have completed the same request form again and again, month after month with no luck from these thieving scum,.
