We are just on the point of completing a sale to We Buy Any Home. My dealings with them have at all times been cordial. They are very, very well organised and I have found them to be totally helpful and honest. On the business side I have dealt with Greg Pearson, who was always straight forward, efficient and easy to get along with. On day to day progress of the transaction I dealt with Ross English, who was also straight forward, efficient and easy to get along with. At all times he was readily available and took most of my calls immediately. When I left a message he always called back quickly. Both Greg and Ross were always diligent, helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
Review is for Haydn and all of his help. Kept us informed and always emailed to see if we needed anything and I feel he made the whole process less stressful.
We would like to say a big thank you to Greg Pearson and Chelsea Patterson for making the selling of our home a very simple procedure. Nothing was too much trouble they answered all our questions either by e mail or telephone. I would recommend this company to anyone…..we even had a good laugh with the two of them as we are not “tech minded” and the patience they had with us was amazing. Thank you both very much again…..Cliff and Elaine Peers.
Hi firstly i want to say thank you to chelsea and greg they was the ones who handled my case .The communication between us was first class. My problem was i bought a property at auction to fix up and sell on, then i found a builder from hell. He took my money and left the house in a worse condition than when i purchased it. It was going to cost to much money to put right. So i sold it to we buy any home. Thank you for taking the nightmare of my hands. Thanks guys.
Unfortunately due to ill health I lost my job and my mortgage was getting on top of me and I found myself in a position that I had to sell my home. Tom was really helpful and really did try everything to support me! In the end I ended up with less than I'd hoped for but everything was openly discussed and transparent and I felt like I was under no pressure to accept any offer they made.
Excellent customer service from start to finish always help if needed. Can I just mention Tom especially went that extra mile for us to help us out thankyou Tom and all the people who have helped us with our sale.
Do not trust this company it will be a very expensive mistake at the last minute your offer will be reduced.Go to auction yourself or sell privately.
We would like to thank Daisy and Ross for all their help. We were unable to sell our flat through an Estate Agent as the outstanding lease was too short for them as it would have to be a cash buyer, so we contacted WBAH and they have been nothing but professional and helpful from start to finish as more issues came to light, which we didn't know about. When the freeholders were contacted to complete the leaseholder pack we found out that the building wasn't insured, amongst other things, and they took an age to provide any of the requested documentation to our Solicitor, Kerry. Due this delay the housing market then started drop off, due to the sudden rise in interest rates, and the fact that the Freeholders caused concerns going forward we did have the price reduced, but Daisy and Ross were extremely patient with the issues we faced.
From beginning to end the Team handled my sale very efficiently. They were upfront and honest during the whole process, unveiling a few issues that I was unaware of and giving me the best advice they could. Greg, Ross & Tom were respectful and understanding with the situation I was in. Happy to say, all worked out well in the end and I am happy to move on to a brighter future!
Daisy and Ross were extremely good, however sellers beware we were in a tricky position our buyer proved to be a serial cash buyer who could not complete,as we needed the sale to go ahead we contacted WBAH my property was on the market for £140000 initially WBAH made an offer of £119000 which we could manage to purchase our onward property. However after WBAH had a survey carried out the price dropped to £96000, which made it impossible to withdraw from our purchase I tried to cancel but was informed that it would cost me approx £12500 we had mo choice but to complete, I have today seen the property put on the market for £140000, Stay away from WBAH we lost a lot of money
First contact was incredibly quick (max 5 mins), like agent was keen to get me off the phone. As confirmation of the contact and the offer, we got a stock email with empty slots for our name, the agents contact number, the name of the agent. Not confidence inspiring. The team then went on to get our names wrong 3 times on the docusign and future emails. I mean once is a genuine mistake but three times is pure negligence. After signing up we were then phoned multiple times by webuyanyhome while working the next day, only to find out that they hadn't connected our phone number to the original case. They were chasing us to sign up with them... I probably got about 6 calls in 2 days, despite emailing and speaking to the additional agents asking them to stop bombarding me with contact, since we'd already signed up with them. I then spoke to Ross who explained someone would need to go and value the property, he said the team were pretty flexible on time. I then emailed with two time options, the Wednesday time was confirmed back. On the day of the viewing I get a frantic call from the valuer saying he was given the wrong time ... I then had to scrabble about to try and accommodate the mistake. 3/4 WDs days after the valuation we checked in to understand progress and were told that the valuation had taken place on the Thursday so I needed to wait 5 WDs from then... Literal eye roll at this point since the valuation drama had been on the Wednesday previously. Unsuprisingly by now we were disappointed by webuyanyhome and pretty concerned about continuing with them. Then the valuation came back much lower than market rate, of course. At this point we were not surprised. Overall a complete waste of our time but also the keen lack of attention to detail throughout to get basic details on correspondences like our names correct (not once but three times!), bombardment of phone calls, blank emails, the appointment time confusion and then the low balling of the original offer at the end to put a cherry on the whole thing. I'd definitely never recommend this company to anyone. I have absolutely no confidence the a proper process was followed to value my flat at all. However undoubtedly there will be a comment from them to say their underwriters did their due diligence blah blah Incidentally we've been very lucky that a private buyer has connected with us wanting to buy the flat for the price we want/market value. More than proving it's worth and again discrediting whatever slap dash process this company has done to verify the value.
Feel this company use bully tactics to forse you to sell. Initially we were offered a higher price but not the market value which we understood. On completion of the survey, we buy a new home claimed a lot of work needed doing on the property costing between £15,000 and £18,000. therefore the offer was reduced quite substantially, and initially we pulled out to the sale on Friday 10th Feb. on Monday, the 13th of February. We received a call from one of the senior managers to see if there’s anything they could do. To try and help us we did initially make another offer. But this again was far too low. It was arranged that we go away and think about it and call the manager back. We did call the manager back and advised if they opted by £500 we would reconsider but we’re not happy as we knew we buy any Home would still sell that price making an extremely high profit. We signed a document but we’re still not advised or or told of our rights as a seller if there was a cooling off period which I’m sure is 14 days cooling off period under English law. I’m enquiring about this. We were advised that the law states we have 14 day cooling off period under the sellers guide I informed me by any home of this. I was informed as we were pulling out, that would be a £5000 penalty charge, as we could not afford this, we had no option but to proceed. We buy a new home actually placed a priority of sale on our property, preventing us from actually selling the property given we buy new home the upper hand and the only way they would remove this is if we paid the £5000 pull-out charge. I advise anyone wishing to use this company, please avoid as they use bully tactics to force you to sell to them. It is with great regret that we never looked into this company further and went ahead with the sale but had to have been advised by solicitors acting on our behalf then maybe this could’ve been avoided. We buy a new home do not offer you , a solicitor who act on your behalf instead they use their own solicitor company to act more for them than the seller show. In my opinion their solicitors are just as bad as we buy any home. Please please please avoid using this company
The company delivered as promised and the two members of staff who I dealt with Tom and Abby were really helpful and friendly
This is a follow up review on my experience with we buy any home. I wrote a genuine review of the appalling experience I had with this company on the 24th of November and since then I have had nothing but attempts from them to withdraw my review. It began with them requesting "further information" to verify I was a genuine customer. I gladly provided that information. Months go by and they submit a claim through Truspilots' integrity team claiming that my review is not legitimate. So I provide all the evidence, screenshots, email correspondence and offer emails that very clearly showcased my review was 100% genuine. This resulted in my review being verified by Trustpilot themselves (sorry not sorry). Today I receive a further claim from them that I have used "personal information" in my review requesting that I remove the 3 first names of their employees from my review. Yet interestingly, I have seen no attempt from you to remove not just first names but the full names of employees listed in all of your positive reviews. Why are you so desperately trying to take my review down? And how many more genuine terrible experiences have you tried to remove from this site? The ability to leave reviews on your service is not just for your satisfied customers. If you are not willing to allow users to leave negative reviews then you should remove the option all together rather than harassing people and trying to mask the service you provide. To whomever is actioning these ridiculous attempts or even handling your reviews on here feel free to contact me; you have more than enough information about my account given all these attempts of yours I will happily have a conversation about this but one thing is for sure, my review will remain as that is the service your company provided me with and I find it appalling that you are trying to take it down. ps, once you remove all references to your employees in your positive reviews I will happily remove their names from mine.
Approached WBAH about selling a retirement property. They were the only company from many I tried willing to make me an offer on the spot which set alarm bells ringing - most companies immediately say no, the rest get the detail and come back within 24 hours. What they offered was way over what other companies indicated was the going rate for retirement properties of 50-60% Then they asked me to sign a contract which looked OK except it insisted I removed the property from the open market, that also made me suspicious as no other company required any contract. I've decided not to pursue the offer and suggest you do the research before you sign up with them
We found Ross English of customer care the most helpful person who gave us confidence with his professional attention throughout the sale of our property Regards Colin & Valerie Norris
Working with Webuyanyhome were forsure lifesavers during the year 2022, big shout out to Daisy Maher and Chelsea Patterson for helping complete my sale in amazing time, working overtime daily in order to achieve this, compared to my 8 months of horror, due to my prior solicitors going into liquation in the middle of the process of my sale. (Hodders Law now with Taylor-Rose and don't not recommend them due to the very poor communication skills they have, especially Shenal Nonis, ABSOLUTELY APPALLING.) After contacting Webuyanyhome, 1 month is took for them to complete, they actually do their job👍🏽. Again big shout out to Daisy and Chelsea for making that possible, Thank you! Ambe :)
Daisy and Chelsea were great, I have been having a really hard time selling my house on the open market and couldn't deal with the stress anymore. I came to WeBuyAnyHome just to explore my options but it turned out to work out really well for me. What they offered to start with did slightly change but that was fine as they were transparent in the process. I received my money within 3 weeks of making the first call and I can finally move on with my life. Thank you ladies you have helped me a lot.
Very knowledgeable and hard working team. Tom and Chelsea very professional and supportive at all times and provided updates throughout process to keep you in loop. Appreciate the help the company gave in a time of need.

Mar 31,2023From start to finish a great experience. I was a little worried going down this route, but I needn't have been. Every detail was attended to, drove a hard bargain which you should expect, but apart from all the packing, a good experience. Gregg, Abby and team were extremely helpful, wouldn't think twice about using this company again. Would recommend to anyone.
