Dec 02,2021Ok, here you are, probably as concerned and indecisive as I was 3 months ago, then again 10 days ago. I started this process 3 months ago, then stopped it as I got cold feet, then started , then stopped again. Then went for it. The first thing to say, is the team totally supported my indecisiveness, “it’s a big deal they said, take your time, no pressure” and I never was pressured. As I wasted a lot of time worrying, suddenly I needed to move quickly, and these guys are rapid. From pushing the go button it was 10 days later that ~I had all my cash. In those 10 days it was valued, reviewed by 2 local estate agents and surveyed. Each step of the way Tom & Ross were there , explaining , supporting and generally making the whole nerve racking process a lot lighter. My suggestions to the reader to make the process less of rollercoaster ride are . 1. Ask loads of questions, they really want you to understand the processes 2. Get your own valuation first, but tell them to give you the bottom price for quick sale and fault find. Mine gave me the top price so I had a large drop to deal with, because the original agent was looking for the business 3. Keep up the communication, you will get reassured. 4. Leave yourself enough time to change your mind, until you have formally accepted accepted the offer you don’t lose any money Overall I can’t fault the process or the team. I went into the process thinking I was entering shark infested waters and came out of it thinking I’d be happy to sit and have a few beers with them.

I spoke to Lucy first who was polite and knowledgeable and gave me the expected below market value for my late mums property, which I expected and was acceptable. Chelsea then picked up the file and started the sales progression, her professionalism and expertise in the sales process was astounding. I felt all my queries were never too much bother and she was always available and a friendly calm voice to guide me through a very stressful time with selling my mum home.
