Never got my pakage
if I could give zero I would. by looking at reviews, I have experience the same thing. I order my books online and it's the first time I was seeing it was being delivered by this company. I waited for long before asking for a refund because it looked that the book I paid for will never be delivered because they were no tracking record. They just give a number and that's all. I will contact some seller again and ask them to not use Whistl ever again, they are crooks. I just had a look at the good reviews. They are fake, they are written by the employees of whistl and they don't hide it. It's another clue on how bad they are.
My parcel did not arrive. Tracking showed 'awaiting collection'. The company, Personal Creations assumes it to have been lost in transit as tracking has stopped. No notification from Whistle was forthcoming and there was no way to contact them. I hope to receive a full refund from the seller, but this is quite disappointing under the circumstances, as it was a Personalised wooden cross ordered for my husband's confirmation service this coming Sunday 23rd October. It seems Whistl parcel post is not very secure, or accountable.
Bought blu-ray disc(ebay seller)29/09/2022, no delivery 12/10/2022, zero website information, total joke "delivery" company...🤬🤬🤬
A rare book I ordered for a birthday present has disappeared. Whistl were contracted by the seller to arrange for the safe transportation of the book from the seller's property to my home. They in turn subcontracted the ever inefficient Yodel. Whistl say Yodel have collected my parcel; and Yodel say they have not collected my parcel. Neither are prepared to assist, so both must be held accountable. Let's see what they say in the Small Claims Court. 26/10/22. Proof of the pudding is in the eating, they say. No response from Whistl - confirmation they don't give 2 hoots....
I've just tried tracking my parcel on the Whistl (never heard of them) website. It says "Your parcel has been scheduled for delivery to its destination" - i just phoned them to ask what time they deliver up to as it hasn't arrived yet...and i was told by a very inefficient (got all the details wrong i told him), unhelpful (sounded like he couldn't give two hoots about helping me), unprofessional (kept huffing and puffing down the phone) that they don't deliver the parcels and that it has been handed to the Royal Mail. I asked him for the RM tracking number and he said there isn't one. How ridiculous is that, i can't track my parcel anymore and i have no idea where it is or when it will arrive!
Ridiculously poor service. Parcels left stranded for more than a week God knows where, tracking status unchanged, and no recourse for the recipient to contact the company to figure out what's going on.
Used them four times,.. Twice the parcels never arrived. Another time it was placed in a bin (on bin day) and a card was left saying "left in a safe place" ... and garbage man took it away : ((( Only once did I get the parcel, after two weeks of nothing happening with the tracking at all !!! They told me that they sometimes use Yodel, which is another carrier that just doesn't care. DONT TRUST YOUR PARCELS TO WHISTL! 80% of the reviews are 1-Star for a reason : (
Left my package on the driveway in front of my house in broad daylight and drove off, didn’t wait to check if I was in. Absolutely appalled
Avoid the company like the plague
After seeing these reviews I’m quite worried that I’m not going to get my canvas on free prints of my kids. Delivery was estimated for today, it hasn’t moved from transit in Bedford since 22:08 5.10.2022. I’ve called and was told it’s been handed over to Royal Mail, tracking number doesn’t exist in Royal Mail tracking
I can't post what I wanted to as I was contacted about offensive language. Let's just leave it at this. Hermes are dreadful and Whistl are worse.
Awful. All you really want from a delivery company is to get your goods safely and in the expected timeframe. I was told 2-4 days from dispatch for this item - a small paperback book from Blackwells. It took 7 working days, and in that time the tracking really gave no clue as to it's progress. Also, there's no way to email them - they just tell you to speak to the vendor (which I did - they could do nothing). Will avoid Whistl, and sadly won't order from Blackwells again as long as they use them.
Tracking says delivered but that's fiction....Home all day, no couriers visited. Rubbish costomer service...website says to contact retailer if there is a problem with delivery. If I could give no stars I would.
Poor poor... parcel picked up from sender 9 days ago. No sign of it. Only sender can contact Whistl. Luckily sender has refunded... parcel disappeared!!
The reviews here really speak for themselves...but I'll add a bit more, because I'm nothing if not generous like that. What I suspect is happening is that contracts are being awarded to the cheapest bidder, obviously. I really don't know what the likes of Whistl, Evri or Yodel could actually be said to specialise in, but it certainly isn't logistics. They do, however, seem to have a real knack for recruiting people who struggle to comprehend the complicated machinations of things like doorbells, letter boxes or flights of stairs. I have now experienced the same issue (goods disappearing into the aether while marked as 'delivered') with goods ordered from very reputable sellers via Amazon and eBay. In some instances, I don't believe these sellers have much choice in how these goods get shipped. The only advice I can offer is to order from companies directly and ensure they specify shipping - any reputable company will do so. The best way to deal with bloated, bullying entities such as this, and I include platforms like Amazon and eBay here, is to starve them. While it increasingly might feel like the individual has little power, these monsters simply disappear when you withdraw your attention (and custom) from them. This little piece of wisdom has served me well in many areas of life, in fact, though I have to admit it will not resolve a phobia of front doors or indeed, customers. Sorry Whistl et al.
I ordered a book from Brit books on 11th Sept. I got in touch with them 2 weeks ago & I was informed that my book had been dispatched by Whistl on 12th Sept which is now 3 weeks ago. I don't have a reference number to track it. I had looked at the reviews for Whistl before I ordered the book. They were very poor but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I'll never use them again.
Rubbish service. Item was never delivered
I buy a lot on line, but if the item is going to be delivered by WHISTL, then it never arrives. I have had a lot of refunds for goods which have been lost, in transit (forever), etc. The problem is that you don;t know when you order an iem online, who is MEANT to be delivering it. They don't even dserve ONE star. M Hurst

Oct 27,2022Like many others I would give it 0 stars if possible. Ordered two books off amazon, the tracking info said delivery attempted but driveway inaccessible..... I don't have driveway. and the other one said I had refused delivery.... Except I was in and no one pressed the buzzer. I was also able to see my front door and the no one approched. Terrible service, delivery drivers who seem to drive but not deliver
