Do I have to give one star for a no-star service? I ordered a book from Amazon and the seller used Whistl to "deliver" it. I use inverted commas here as the delivery date was the 1st of June and it hadn't arrived by the 9th. I called the lost parcels number and I was asked for my postcode. NOT the tracking number I was given. I was told it was still in transit. It seems it went into the Whistl parcelhub and never came out. The seller did verify that it had been collected and Whistl had somehow lost it. More than likely there are a few light-fingered employees in this company. Since Whistl hand their parcels over to Royal Mail to deliver anyway, I would suggest cutting out the 90% chance of your post going missing by dumping Whistl out of the equation.

I ordered a book from Amazon. Found out later that it was despatched from Awesome books! They sent it via Whistl, who after 4 days handed it to Royal Mail. While Whistl provided a tracking number I could follow the delivery as far as Royal Mail. But that tracking number is not recognised by Royal Mail! Poor communication between the companies and customer means that this has now become guesswork. The company has already "cashed the cheque" in that the amount has disappeared from my bank account. I will have to see if I can get a refund.
Awaiting a parcel via ebay. Tracking says out for delivery, but it may be delivered today or tomorrow...... or the next etc. No customer service number or anyway to contact them. Apt business name, as you have to Whistle for your deliveries.

Whistl literally couldn't deliver a package in 3 days and the update on tracking is that they have had to hand it over to royal mail for delivery I live in a very busy town that no company has an issue with, completely laughable.
Been waiting for a parcel since the 15th of May, its 25th and still not received it, the size is like a letter, I thought royal fail were bad, but whistle takes the raspberry for the worst courier, asked for a refund from seller, the sooner this company goes down the better for a lot of unwittingly future customers. Terrible whistl, Pack it in your no good at it.
Haven't received my parcel since the 6th May 2022. Whistl blaming Yodel , apparently they handed parcel over to this company yet Yodel is blaming Whistl, sender investigating and no idea what happened. Paid a lot of delivery fee according to weight. Also there are delays & other issues ,all this seems really bad & unacceptable. My parcel is worth about £100 with the delivery fee!
Suggest you avoid any seller that uses Whistl like the plague. I am on my 3rd same book order from 3 different sellers - awesome books, we buy any books and brit books. No sign of any book delivery. The first two companies gave me a refund without me even asking so they must know Whistl is bad. What is Whistl on? Certainly not a delivery service. Am considering reporting them to Trading Standards as on their performance they should not be allowed to operate. I can see a ton of other people feel the same by their poor reviews of Whistl and with the same experiences I have had. Bye bye Whistl whoever you are!
Sent a large amount of orders totalling over £2000 for letter services and small parcel shipment which have somehow just disappeared, I’ve had customers complain and demand refunds. The only reason i used whistl was for the lower cost compared to Royal Mail direct, DO NOT use whistl. Pay the extra cost with Royal Mail, atleast you know the customers will actually receive their orders. This has cost me a lot of money and is majorly affecting my business. DO NOT use whistl

Waited in all day Friday, for replacement order, for the one they had previously delivered badly damaged. The package contained live plants. The tracking site indicated that it was out for delivery. I waited in view of the front door, all day. No delivery. I checked the tracking that night, it still said out for delivery. Saturday morning I checked the tracking site, it said delivered to customer. This was not the case. Saturday...3.50pm Delivery of package of dried and wilted plants arrived. I pointed out to driver that Whistl had recorded that it was delivered yesterday. Of course the he denied all knowledge of this and just said he had no time to deliver yesterday. He admitted to being the driver who delivered and pushed through the letterbox the previously delivered, badly damaged plants and blamed the packaging. I told him that other delivery firms had no problem delivering them, on time, intact. He obviously did not give a damn and looked slightly amused.
Wish I could give this company a negative rate, i.e. -5. I waited in all day as their tracking showed out for delivery from 7.07a.m. It then showed delivered at 17.59 p.m. Let me assure you it was not delivered I waited in all day. My order was from Thompson and Morgan who are refunding me immediately, thank you T&M, but I am afraid I shall not be using you again.
Since our switch over to Whistl for overseas mail we have saved hours of time in processing mail through their online booking system
Unable to rate ZERO stars, well what. Am I say about Whistl that hasn’t been said in the countless negative reviews already on TP. Unfortunately I have a subscription with YuMove for tablets for my dog and they use Whistl to deliver, or should that read NOT deliver and have their package tracker just say shipment t created. This isn’t my first experience of not receiving what was ordered but luckily YuMove sent more tablets direct via Royal Mail which did arrive, I’m waiting on their response to this latest missing shipment. This has to be the worst delivery firm out there (and there’s some awful ones), I hope in future the more reputable companies like YuMove simply change the delivery method as this one is by far the worst I’ve ever encountered. I’m a Logistics Specialist with 30+ years experience and don’t often slate delivery firms but this bunch of cowboys are awful
Poor customer service. Manager do not like to answer your phone call. Large letter item was charged as packet. Parcel was charged as double price then agreed and have to wait 1 month for credit. I would not recommend to anyone
10 days for a dvd to arrive.....well it still hasn't, I now have to find another birthday gift, what a useless company, I could have walked there and back to collect it in 10 days!! Absolutely shocking 😳
You can whistle about tracking your parcel. You get a tracking number from seller but when you check all it says is when it was picked up the tracking days later never got updated. So I have no idea when or if my parcel will ever come Update parcel did come but Yodel delivered it, just there tracking is useless that whistl provide
Could not get a sensible answer to where my shipment was. Coming from Lincoln to Cornwall. No updates, no information, no nothing. Just a dreadful service. I eventually received my parcel after 10 days. Must have been on a round Britain jolly.

Jun 10,2022Should not even be a one star but can’t go to a zero -*. Got an email from Amazon to say my deliver had been attempted but no one in and to contact Whistl. Made contact to be told not their problem as they had sent the parcel to Yodel so take it up with them. I said the email told me to contact them as was told I don’t know why it’s not our problem. I asked could they try to get me answers as to the where the parcel was and was told it your parcel so it’s your problem not ours contact them yourself. Such wonderful customer service NOT!!! Would not recommend them to anyone as they don’t want to know when things go wrong. They should look up the definition of customer service and retrain their staff.
